Syrian and Russian warplanes and attack helicopters carried out on November 13 more than 50 airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in Idlib, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).
The airstrikes targeted the towns of Shnan, al-Najeya, Furaykah, al-Mshairfeh, Kafr Nabl, Rakaya Sijneh, Fatterah, Sutuh al-Din, Tramla, Kafar Sijnah, Ma’aret Hurmah, Jbala, Hizareen and Karsaa in the western and southern Idlib countryside.
Opposition activists released videos showing some of the Syrian and Russian airstrikes on western and southern Idlib.
A day earlier, a series of Russian airstrikes claimed the lives of eight terrorists of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). Another terrorist, who was injured in the airstrikes, was assaulted and killed by angry locals.
According to pro-government sources, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) may launch a ground operation in Idlib or around it soon. These claims are yet to be confirmed.
