More Than 100 Militants Were Killed In Clashes In Northern Hama

Illustrative image

At least 102 militants have been killed in the ongoing large-scale attack on the government-held areas in the northern Hama countryside, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) revealed on June 9.

According to the London-based monitoring group, 42 of the eliminated militants were members of terrorist groups, such as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its ally Jaysh al-Izza.

A day earlier, Jaysh al-Izza announced that Abdul Baset al-Sarout, a prominent Syrian opposition figure famous as “the singer of the revolution,” was killed while fighting the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). The group also acknowledged the death of two other field commanders Mohamad Khaled al-Sab’a and Yasir al-Hilal.

Local sources also revealed that most of HTS fighters, who were killed in northern Hama, were displaced from Daraa, al-Quneitra, Damascus, and Homs last year.

Besides the high death count, HTS and its allies lost loads of equipment. Photos released by the Abkhazian Network News Agency (ANNA) show that the terrorist groups had lost an up-armored T-62 main battle tank, an AMB-S armored ambulance and three armored vehicles.

Despite these heavy losses, the militants appear to be determined to go on with their attack in northern Hama, likely due to the lack of a better military option.

These headchopper savages are being roasted for no apparent gain as there is snowball’s chance in hell if they ever get even 200 kms from Damascus. The worthless Turkish swine are using them for their delusional fantasies of annexing the best orchards and agricultural region of Syria. Not going to happen!

    • Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

i want all those rats roasted, crushed, dead, etc.

    • Lupus

Yes that was the objective from Turkistan from the beginning. Land, power, oil. It played a key role in this so called war. Too bad for Turkistan the US, Saudi Arabië and Israël did not like that and had their own evil agenda.

If it wasnt for Iran/Hezbollah and Russia, we would see a completely different map right now

    • Barba_Papa

Cynically speaking, maybe this is Erdogan’s secret plot to get rid of his former Jihadi henchmen? If they get killed fighting the SAA they won’t be coming into Turkey to seek shelter once the SAA inevitably takes Idlib?

      • Zionism = EVIL

The Turkeys are breeding these scum on their lands too and there are 3 million of the savages and their Salafist supporters left in Idlib and when it falls it will be another mess for the bankrupt Turkish economy and internal unrest grows. Mark my words, the bastard Erdogan will regret his invasion of Syria and pipe-dreams of another new moth eaten Ottoman Empire.

        • Barba_Papa

Oh, I think he’s regretting it alright. That’s why he doesn’t want Idlib to fall the SAA, as those Salafists would then flee into Turkey. Better that the Idlib Terrorist Reservation remains as it is. But that would have required for Al Qaida and friends to not constantly launch attacks from there. And Turkey doesn’t seem to have that much clout over them to make them do so. So better that they now fight the SAA to preserve the Idlib Terrorist Reservation. Or at the very least die while doing so.

          • Mike

A solution for this would be Turkey to send them or give them free passage to Europe, after all should the West take back what it created.

          • Barba_Papa

Except Europe would immediately close its borders and Erdogan would still be burdened with these Jihadists. There’s already immense public pressure in Europe to prevent the return of former ISIS members, even their brides and children. There’s no way in hell that Europe’s leaders could allow the return of Al Qaida jihadists without an even bigger public backlash.

      • FlorianGeyer

Yes, I agree. The last thing that Erdogan needs are Warlord led gangs for hire of trained terrorists that have retreated into Turkey.

These gangs only loyalty is to widely accepted money and the US can print dollars at will.

        • Zionism = EVIL

The dumbass Americunts found that out the hard way Afghanistan circa 1980’s when the headchoppers turned on the masters. Like I wrote years ago, Turkeys will face a Pakistan style blowback in spades and on a mega scale. These savages are now boxed in and will get angry as the Turkeys are already closing down “refugee” camps and sending them back to Syria. There are harrowing stories about the shameless degenerate Turkeys forcing Sunni women and children into prostitution. These brainwashed people should have read the disgusting history of Turkey and its treatment of Kurds, Armenians and other minorities. Turks are worse than barbarians. And can you imagine at one stage these savages wanted to join the EU.

        • goingbrokes

Yes, it’s like a win-win, or at least win-not-lose proposition.

    • Loung Kodak

They were really st_p!ds because if Al Qaeda (and affiliates) got time to entrenched them inside fortifications, they had too much ego that let them blind, not to see the most predictable hypothesis for SAA, that prepared strategy according too, to avoid any chance of success of retakes territories.

    • Icarus Tanović

      Not going to happen!

    — “Despite to these heavy losses, the militants appear to be determined to go on with their attack […] likely due to military better option […] “

  • iosongasingsing

These Donmeh-Wahabis, Israeli cousins, have carved out the promised land in Idlib since their caliphate was ceded to the Kurds by the US. The western countries from which they came before making Aliya in Idlibstan, revoked their passports, leaving them the alternative: Either resist or die, in the sense that the more they resist and later go to hell.

  • Icarus Tanović

Why they constantly addressing Al-Nusra and rebranding it as HTS? They are fucking Al-Nusra scum and over.
And it isn’t over until we kill last one of them.

  • Tommy Jensen

Mintpress says US have 120 000 ultraradical terrorists at its disposal in Idlib. Russia is locked in a quagmire inside Syria. Russia lost and US won again…………………….…..LOL.
