On April 1, another group of militants and families left the al-Waer district of the governmetn-held city of Homs.

According to the pro-Turksih Step News Agency, about 1000 people (657 men and 358 women) left the city. About 300 of them were with light arms.

The evactuated militants and their families moved in the direction of Idlib. This became possible due to the stabilization of the northern Hama front.

The first and second waves of the evacuation from Homs were in the direction of the Turkish-controlled part of northern Syria.

Why is this tolerated? aren’t they at least POWs? Isn’t Syria far better off with them in surrounded and isolated pockets than allowing them to resupply and fight again in Idlib?
