Willing Conscience (The Truths

Assad’s just denied having any meetings with the Israelis or coming to any sort of terms with them, but the fact is he’s just announced he’s lowering alert levels for the SAA, and SF just released a comprehensive breakdown on the current situation between Russia and Iran, it’s not too hard to tell which party is lying.
I suspect Assad’s lying about it to appease the Iranians who are probably upset any details at all were released to the media.
The EU have also thrown their weight into the argument now, they will no longer support the revival of the nuclear deal and will all fall in line with US policy now, which is going to leave Iran about as isolated as it possibly can be.
A cornered wounded beast is unpredictable at the best, at worst they can be outright dangerous, and now with the EU deserting them Iran has no viable options left, it’s either give in or go hard.
Iran now has to worry about other conflicts they’re involved in, their enemies will all be taking advantage of this new turn of events, they’ll all be looking for opportunities to put the boot in before Iran can get back on it’s feet properly.
