A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:

  • On December 19, Russia reported that Idlib militants violated the ceasefire regime in Greater Idlib 30 times: 21 – in Idlib province, 6 – in Aleppo province, 6 – in Latakia province, 5 – in Hama province;
  • On December 18, Turkish-backed forces allegedly entered Mushairafa and Jahbal villages near Ain Issa. At least 2 SDF and 9 Turkish-backed militias were killed in the clashes;
  • On December 18, at least 6 Turkish-backed fighters were killed in an explosion of the ammunition depot near Jindires;
  • On December 18, US has sent a logistical convoy to its base in the Conoco area.
