The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have broken the ISIS siege on Deir Ezzor city and Deir Ezzor Airport and are now developing momentum against the terrorist group in the countryside of Deir Ezzor.

The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have launched own operation against ISIS in Deir Ezzor province and captured an area in the provincial capital’s northern countryside. Meanwhile, the SDF is still clashing with ISIS inside Raqqah city.

In Iraq, government forces are preparing for a military operation against ISIS southwest of Kirkuk. However, the operation is delayed with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s will to establish an independent state in the northeastern part of Iraq.

Iraq needs to get their PMU to the border.

PMU can do that without Iraqi permission if they wish. Their problem was along sectarian lines, I do believe they have enough Sunni Tribal forces to launch this attack, the war is over, I don’t understand why they are still tip-toeing!

because the PMU can not do this without permission

They’re planning operations bu the problem is this area is the same region that the US fled out of fear, the region is full of some very strong support for the Islamic state. That is why this such a difficult region to take since the US had run roughshod over the people to ensure this would happen. The US as always goes to great lengths to create a bogeyman.
