This map provides a general look at the military situation in Damascus’ Eastern Ghouta after the failed advance of Ahrar al-Sham and its allies on the government-held Armoured Vehicle Base. The joint militant forces had attempted to capture this strategic facility located south of Harasta but failed to achieve their goal. In turn, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies intensified strikes on militant units violating the ceasefire regime in the region.

Watching these East Ghouta maps is like watching WWI trench front lines. Nothing ever seems to change. So, in honor of those poor SAA sods on the frontline:

Nothing seems to change because the US terrorists are being constantly re-supplied with weapons and ammunition through so called UN humanitarian aid convoys. Unless all convoys are strictly and thoroghly inspected by the Syrian government this situation will continue and get worse. If no weapons or ammunition is let to pass over to the terrorists then these US/Zionist terrorist proxies will run out of ammunition and all of Eastern al-Goutha will be liberated.

I suspect this frontline just does not rate the highest when it comes to deployment of enough crack troops to finally finish it. Methinks if the Tigers would be deployed here it could be over in weeks. Now they assign just enough troops to hold the line, but not enough to be decisive.
