        FSA SORRY

  • dutchnational

As AMN is reporting TFSA forces are withdrawing from Afrin towards Idlib, one wonders how this will influence both battlefields if say 5 to 10k TFSA were to transfer towards Idlib and if this is with Turkish consent or not.

  • Jason Sixx

Taftanaz airbase close too! And les than 40km to idlib city :) i also heard hzb and irgc are gna create another flank and front from hader to tal al eis and beyond?

  • Ronald

Wonder how long it will take to clean up the air base , close air support would be very helpful .
If dutchnational is correct , and the Turks are moving from Afrin into Idlib , Erdogan thinks Idlib City should be his , he wants both Afrin and Idlib .

    • dutchnational

I got my info from AMN and they were talking TFSA, not Turks themselves.

    • MeMadMax

The last estimate from the SAA was 3 months before abu duhar would be at least somewhat functional.

      • You can call me Al

That is propoganda; the engineers can have it done within 2 or 3 weeks.

    • MeMadMax

Regarding erdoghan thinking that idlib is his: I don’t think anyone would backup erdoghan if he is attacked by the SAA… He is on his own within syria at this point. Besides, I’m pretty sure putin would be doing something behind the scenes as well…

    • Bob

Dutchnational is quite wrong and a Kurdish nationalist. From outset Turkey always wanted to annex Aleppo city, ie reclaim the Ottoman Empire. Hence why Turkish sponsored rural militants from north Aleppo invaded and occupied parts of Aleppo city and took east Aleppo for years. The same militants strip-looted east Aleppo and loaded up the booty on Turkish haulage trucks to sell off in Turkey – everything from Syrian public hospital equipment to Syrian train tracks – all of it went into Turkey for cheap sale. Basic plunder.

      • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well the Syrian empire has prominence over the Ottoman empire as the Syrian empire is older and Turkey returning parts of Turkey to the Syrian empire would be just as reasonable.

Turkey thinks it’s acceptable but that is where he and the world public differ on looting.

    • VGA

Lol dude they will not take that base and use it to launch air operations from it! Close aor support doesn’t mean that your aircraft is stationed 2km away!

  • Lloyd Yona

I so not know what you lot are nattering on about but it`s either Syria or Kurdish no more no less.

  • gold37

Time to start the Jisr-al-shugr offensive.

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Kefraya and Fuo’a is more strategic and has higher value, they will roll the west side from the south and cut off all forces along the M5 by seizing it.

      • gold37

I understand that, opening that front allows for less Jihadists East of M5. SAA has initiative, they can push in all directions. And yes those two towns will be liberated.
