Locals Protest Against US-backed Forces In Eastern Syria (Video)

A screenshot from the video

Locals are protesting against the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the village of Al-Mansoura in the province of Raqqah.

According to reports, the protestors are members of the local tribe, al-Buhamis. The tensions have erupted after the SDF has arrested the tribe’s leader.

The SDF is a de-facto Kurdish-dominated group, controlled by the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and their political wing – the so-called Democratic Union Party. The PYD and PYD-linked “security forces” are actively working to establish own rule in the SDF-held areas. These efforts lead to tensions with the local Arab population.

Candidly,…..Muslims are more emotion reaction led than reasoning.
Next is reasoning which is akin to brainwashing. ..
Both Sunni and Shia are socio trapped in this loop.
Some few %if each section do not hate the other, nor machinate over past offenses which in some cases demand retribution by some obligated family member who the dark revenge task falls to.
Sadam Hussein….In order to please US attacked Iran…the war was vicious, with use of ballistic missile, various WMD.
Globalist danced as both nations murdered each other over a lie.

Iraqis and Syrians who turn against their neighbours to murder them, take their property are as stupid as the House of Islam that murdered each other on behalf of US and City of London (Bankers ).
Today in Syria…the nation is reduced to regions of criminal warlird/tribes who fight for who pays the highest.
      Some few are loyal.
The Sunni Takfiri themselves are cut throat gangsters towards each other.
Warlord /Tribe fight for turf when ordered to….
Paid to obey and extorted to obey,….it’s a huge army of street thugs who praise Allah for the AK 47,Captigon and sometimes money.

Syria has Arabs who are Sunni … Educated to understand Nationalism….Patriotic, serve with Shia no problems as Police,Military ,Service sector.
These are rejoicing in the Truth of Life which is good. ..
There are Kurds who realize the betrayal they are caught up in,….realize the Foreign Devils with money are no Future for them.

The great Evil of since the creation of the Miserable House of Saud, …was the export of Wahhabism. …as far afield as Pakistan Madrassa, ….Indonesia.
The unwinding of this deranged Faith/Mandate will take time,
Hastened evermore when the great leaders of the lies are ended,…when their Armies of sycophants are routed in battle.
East Ghouta is a Kodak of Truth….
The Lie cannot stand before resolve of Patriotic Nationalism.

Meanwhile the US is building a large military base in the oil-rich Al Omar region of Deir ez-Zor province. So much for Donny’s proclaiming victory against ISIS: https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201803271062942153-us-syria-military-base-construction/

Once the US starts to dig in & make themselves at home it will be years before they leave. Look at Afghan or Iraq

  • Smaug

What did they arrest him for?

    • AJ

Probably for not being a kurd!

    • Skagos

For not being a Kurd with marxist/lennist ideology.

      • Hulusi Akar

Turkey warned the world about this, nobody listened to them.

    • Ricky Miller

For not agreeing to hand over cash to pay for SDF’s ongoing wars with both Turkey and the Syrian government. The tribe was seemingly okay with being subjugated by Kurdish/USA forces but drew a hard line against being shook down and robbed.

  • Hulusi Akar

Not only east of euphrates, but there is also fighting in Manbij against the YPG/PKK by locals.

  • Rob

ISIS global terrorists are Washington and Israel creation. Egyption president SISI have failed to liberate land from ISIS instead of having modern US weapons. Its seams Egypt will be next Palestine or Syria.

Kurds should defend Afrin and Manjib, not acting as an occupation force in Raqqah and Deirezzor. In the end, they will lose everything.

    • Tchoutoye

One wonders how the SDF managed to “conquer” so much of eastern Syria from ISIS, when they can’t engage in a single battle to defend Afrin district.

      • PeakyBlinder

There is a simple answer to that. Airpower. Whoever owns the skies, almost always wins the war. The Kurds owned the air against ISIS, via the USA. Then the kurds got crushed in Afrin because the Turks had the airpower. The Kurds even admit that the airstrikes were overwhelming in Afrin.

  • Larry Larsen

So much for the much-touted (by the US/SDF), elected/inclusive “local leadership councils.” What a crock. SDF “rule” east of the Euphrates is going to disintegrate. Factional Kurds have ZERO experience holding together a coalition of different peoples/ethnicities. Heck, they can’t even hold together a coalition of Kurds. The Syrian government does. It’s what it does/has always done. Syria for Syrians. Choose!! (Kurds) Or lose everything.
