A pro-government Palestinain militia, Liwa al-Quds, has deployed its forces to northern Hama in order to support the Syrian Army in its anti-terrorist effort in the Abu al-Duhur area in southern Idlib.

On January 11, the joint militant forces, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham, launched a large-counter attack against the army and its allies in an attempt to force them to retreat from the vicinity of the Abu al-Duhur Airbase. In this situation, the involvement of Liwa al-Quds may help the army to stablize the situation and to liberate the strategic airbase.

    Liwa Al-Quds are true heroes.

nice to see those western weapons in the right hands.

Is the first one the HK416 with 10′ barrel? It’s said to be a nearly-perfect weapon – the germans took the m16/m4 concept and made it work like it was intended initially.

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Pretty much like the C8 rifle which the SAS use, better designed gun made in Canada by Colt still in the US it’s made by various manufacturers under licence to Colt in Canada.

    • FlorianGeyer

I was thinking the same thing and you got there first John :)

They look brand new as well .

    • as

Actually those weren’t really supplied to SdF or FSA affiliated. So either it’s deliberately donated by the soldiers that were incited by fake kinship with the kurds before falling into SAA friends or worse a trophy from eliminated ‘advisor ‘

“Actually those weren’t really supplied to SdF or FSA affiliated”

        how would u know?

        • as

Those were of the most advanced small arms at their inventory. No way they’d supplied them with or something at it’s equivalent for fear it falls in the wrong hands.
Would they want to face an engagement where their counterpart shoot just as accurate as them?

  • as

They seem more Chechen or Kazakhstanis. Are the pictures correct or they do integrated foreign member?

#Syria Rebels launched assault to cut off Regime troops which advanced on Abu al-Duhur Military Airbase in eastern #Idlib-
Rebels took back villages near Abu Dali

In the above mentioned counterattack the aim of rebels is cutting off the advance on the airbase and creating a pocket of besieged SAA forces that cannot be resupplied.

It seems, if correct, SAA once again forgot to secure and guard their flanks. If that is indeed what is happening, SAA deserves everything it gets because of bad decisions and worse stategies by SAA Command.

They let the advancing forces fall into a trap at Khuwayn and Athsan and have killed over 50 terrorists believe they were prepping ambushes for all these terrorist from the Turks.

        It’s true…

      • dutchnational

Is possible. Could also be another Tabqah for SAA.

        • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

How could it be another Tabqah there are no other external US forces in the region even the US isn’t that stupid. You have much to learn about war , as you know the dissolution proposed by the US is in violation of every agreement and all that they signed, this time they are accountable. Just imagine how this will leave most nations voting continually against them, many are ready to throw off the Yoke or Joke of the USA.

You keep on saying that, like with every ISIS counter attack, at Mayadin, and Sukhnah, and Al Bukamal. And yet who is in control of those places now? Not ISIS. Or any of the other headchoppers.

Condemn them AFTER the battle, not during the battle, there might be more going on then tweets the eye. We are after all talking about the fog of war. Or in this case tweets of war.

      • dutchnational

        War of the tweet.

        • FlorianGeyer

Your war is the war of the ‘Twit ‘ Dutch.

Honestly it’s you who don’t seem to learn… Same thing happens again and again – rebels counter attack and seem to gain something but in short time its evident that they end up in deep shit where they belong.

Just left this delusional jihadist supporter that had same league as man dagang, solomon, mountain, and other that I forgot, who trapped in their dream about syria as terrorist paradise

    • Weldon Cheek

I love it when you make a comment, its usually the kiss of death to whichever terrorist groups dick your sucking at the time, all it would take now would be soloman krapneck( or whatever his name is)to chip in and that would seal the deal for the SAA.

Mohammed Rafe was killed in action on Novembre 2016

Is the officer in the picture a Rafi lookalike?

    • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You need to be careful of what you believe on liveleak.com as it is more than likely to spout propaganda of the US govt.

  • Samuel Boas

Even their style and looks would kill anyone, absolute badasses..

  • Rodger

I would make sense for Syria/Iran/Russia to get a lot more friendly with the Pallies after the US move on Jerusalem. They can probably be picked up for peanuts these days and then used to infiltrate Jordan and put that country to the torch. That would secure the southern border of Syria and decrease US influence in Iraq. Getting the USA out of Jordan would be a massive blow against the KSA and the USA.

Been following the developments in Idlib over last few days, and could not stop wondering why would saa anchor their defensive line on the one and only north-south road on the western sector at Umm-Khalakil – Zurzur, Khuwayn, while allowing the enemy to keep a parallel road, commanding three villages, within a rifle shot distance? In other words, saa left no safety net for themselves in case of trouble, no secondary fall back line or near by villages to fall back to, and no effective route to get there.

Militants could slowly but safely trickle into Farjah, Sihal, Umm Tinah villages, minimizing danger from air forces, because they had several roads to use to come to these villages, and then launch a broad scale attack on saa’s flank from these villages.

It would have been imperative for saa to at least secure Farjah village before expanding north.
