Kiev Builds Up Legal Conditions To Justify Its Upcoming Aggression In Donbass

Illustrative Image

On March 29, the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) adopted a draft of so-called resolution on the situation in Donbass. It seems that there is noting new in such a document, however, it puts at stake Kiev’s obligation on implementation of the Minsk Agreement.

In this resolution No. 5312, eight deputies propose to the Verkhovna Rada to call on parliaments of foreign states and international parliamentary organizations to condemn the alleged aggressive policy of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine, including the latest wave of escalation in the conflict zone.

The document provides a list of solutions that have no significant value, like:

  • demands that Russia immediately cease hostilities and observe the ceasefire, fulfill its international obligations and withdraw from Ukraine its army, mercenaries, armed formations;
  • expresses deep condolences to the families of the fallen Ukrainian defenders;
  • calls on the world community to continue and strengthen international political and economic pressure on Russia in order to end the aggression etc.

Such a document is not the first to be adopted in Ukraine in the last years. However, this draft has a specific feature. It is for the first time that Ukrainian Rada adopted the draft statement, which says that the war in Eastern Ukraine is a Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict.

Previously, the phrase “aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine” was used in Kiev’s official documents. Today, the war in Donbass was designated as an international armed conflict, that is, war.

Such a definition has significant juridical impact. This statement completely blocks Kiev’s implementation of the Minsk Agreements. Paragraph 2 of the Package of Measures clearly defines that the parties to the conflict are Kiev on the one hand, Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic (LDPR) on the other.

Today the Ukrainian Parliament officially declared, at the highest level, that the parties to the conflict are Ukraine and Russia.

The resolution ensures the immediate forwarding of the text of this statement to the national governments and parliaments of foreign states, international organizations and their parliamentary assemblies.

The resolution was adopted on the third intersession meetings of Rada, amid the escalation of the military situation in Eastern Ukraine.

Аour Ukrainian soldiers were killed near the village of Shuma under enemy mortar fire.

“Today, March 26 at about 14:00 in the direction of Shuma, as a result of the enemy’s shelling of our positions, four servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed and two were wounded,” the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group claimed.

Apparently, Kiev aims at making loud statements, accusing the LDPR militia of violating the ceasefire agreement. But it forgets to mention the deaths when Ukrainian soldiers blow on their own mines. It would significantly increase the number of Ukrainian casualties, as it happens on a regular basis due to criminal negligence of Ukrainian command.

Ukraine has been increasing its military presence in eastern regions for about a moth already, as well as it has increased a number of military provocations. It seems that after having prepared its military positions, Kiev is now preparing juridically for launching of a new attack on Donbass.

Who opened Syrian airspace over Afrin to Turkish F-16s and Turkish Bayraktar armed drones, and invited the Turks in so that they could massacre the Kurds?

Putin.

Would the Kurds have been able to defend themselves and defeat the Turks if the Kurds were not being bombed by Turkish planes?

Yes.

Without a single Russian soldier’s life being put in danger.

Just like the Armenians in Karabakh who would have defeated the Turks, the Jihadis and the Azeris if the Russians had deployed a few Electronic Warfare assets at NO COST to Russia. Not a single Russian life would have been at stake, again.

Unlike the Kurds, Armenia actually was — and still is (on paper) — Russia’s de jure military ally, but the Russians STILL stabbed the Armenians in the back. (The Russians had not even equipped with air-to-air missiles the SU-30 fighter jets that they sold to the Armenians!)

Do you want to have Putin and the Russians as your friend or your foe?

The question is, IS THERE A DIFFERENCE?

God save the Queen and her dutiful servant Sir Putin (who works for NATO and Israel as well).

Now, I feel sorry for the Russians in Donbass who think Putin will save them from the Ukrainian Nazis. Putin was busy having assassinated patriotic Russian leaders of Novorussia instead.

If the Russians had any honor or brains, they would have liberated Donbass after seeing the videos of the Russians being tortured to death by the Ukrainians.

Jihadi Colin

I can’t tell you how many times I have said Russia should have destroyed the Ukranazis in 2014. Even while the Maidan coup was going on I was already waiting for what I naively assumed would be an inevitable Russian intervention. Not just I, at that; I remember Russian military fora demanding “Putin, dai prikaz!” (“Putin, give the order!”). It was not the Russian military who was reluctant to intervene, quite the contrary.

Al Balog

But back in 2014, the American hegemony was much stronger than in 2021. Obama or Hillary Clinton could have easily started WW3 if Russia intervened in Donbass. A lot can change in seven years.

With how weak America is now, Russia was able to stabilize Libya and Karabakh without any American interference, so going to protect Donbass in 2021 is reasonable.

Diana Cornwell

The Russians betrayed and failed their brothers and sisters in Donbass, Putin or no Putin.

Robert Ferrin

What a load of drivel or should I say propaganda which buys little to nothing the Ukraine is NOT Russia problem but those that instigated and financed the coup but yet simple people think that Russia should have used their military to have taken over the Ukraine which is just what the west wanted them to do..

Trap Is Not Gay

Diana is a paid shill fake account.

The UK is starting to look Africa/Arab Muslim in some parts and yet the paid shill manage to show up here to go after Russia.

If something, the paid shill was hired by the George Soros for real desinfo, while being replaced lockdowned around knife rampages, in the new France (UK).

This person isn’t “going after Russia”. Its someone who doesn’t worship either, unlike the people here who worship Putin who is a corrupt zionist just the like the elites of the west. Russia is the west’s enemy for reasons of power distribution, not ideology. That’s a problem.

Peter Jennings

It’s only a problem for western neocon elitists who want to rule everything and everyone. They are afraid of competition because they know that their rotten bloated system cannot compete.
The US has had to dispense with democracy as it was getting in the way.

You don’ t know what are you speaking about…..
Kurds are antifascist and those are allied with us antifascists ( bidet , harris , clinton , obanana , etc ) , with eu antifascists ( ue commission , rothschild clan , high finance , leftist parties ) and mondialist mafia ( lgbt , blm , feminists , drugs trafficant etc ) and fight against Russia and International Resistance .
Many antifascists groups from Italy and many other european countries after they joined maidan are now training in sirians areas occupied by antifascist kurds under antifascist cia mossad mi6 supervision .

viktor ziv

Airspace is closed for Turkey over a year ago. Bayraktar drones turned to be complete failure in Sy.
As for Kurds go, they have tendency to dig a hole for them selves. Kurds shot down Su-25 killing ISIS. Kurds keep Syrians under “Arbeit macht frei” kind of kamps. Kurds keep ISIS under kamps. They blow bombs in Turkey killing civilians too. They occupy north Iraq. They attack villages in NW Iran.

Be kind and keep in mind, Putin is THE PRESIDENT OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION! What he does, is in the interest of the people of Russian federation. WHY??? Because people voted for him!
As for Armenia goes, they utterly failed by them selves, they didn’t do a finger move for NK! They won few battles 30 years ago, and kept living on the wings of old glory. Doing nothing! Lazy bastards!

Volunteers went to NK to fight and died. Even more would dye if Russia didn’t intervene. Besides, why would Russia endanger lives of russian troops in conflict where Armenia turned blind eye? Was Armenia attacked? If so, this would be a different story.

DON’T FORGET what happened in Georgia. Only 5 days took Saakashvili to start eating his tie! Where is he now? Great patriot (reflected by WEST) running away from Georgia, Ukraina. What country is next? For whom will NATO join the fight for Cyprus, Greece or Turkey????
As for Ukraina goes? Were you there? You have no knowledge of it, right? Who gave you the right to speak about Ukraina? Only ignorant head would neglect the fact that VSU was “liberating” cities with Smerch. Do you know what smerch is? I really hope you don’t have to. Donbass knows. As for Ukrainians goes, common people I spoke to long for CCCP, they say Russians are their brothers, they don’t want a war! They HATE Ukrops. They wish Russians would come to save them. But again WHY? Why would Russia take over fallen state? Where everything stopped with colapse of CCCP? Russia has no need for those kind of problems.

You’re nothing but warmonger!!!

p.s.
to win a war, win a heart first!!!! It’s complex for you to comprehend….

“Putin stabbed Armenians and Kurds”…..first of all Armenians removed the pro Russian president and they put a Soros puppet…2º Kurds are not clean wheat and they made an alliance with USA to steal Syrian petrol…3º Donbass army have enough resources to defeat Ukrainian army and the only purpose of Kiev Maidan junta is to put pressure in Nord stream 2 because they know that Russia will only send gas to EU through ND2 and the Turk stream…4º Russian forces use Idlib for military drills and test weapons( sometimes use ballist&cruise missile..sometimes test the SVP-24, the Orion armed drone, Kalashnikov loitering drones, new Kornet ATGM, long range sniper rifles Orsis T-5000, T-90 and Armata, Guide artillery Krasnopol, new Tornado guide rockets…etc…)…..

We are way past the point in time where it was still possible to make omelettes with broken eggs.

Rotten to the core, they all are. Are Ukraninians become some kind of clowns ? This is a “de facto” déclaration of war against Russia with what it all means..

Pave Way IV

Are Ukraninians become some kind of clowns ?

It’s way worse than that. They’ve become vassals and of the U.S. and proxy army of NATO. At least clowns have some dignity.

HB_Norica

They’re pretty consistent. Half of them are culturally Russian and half think they’re German. Look at WW2 … aside from Bandaras and Galacia division the majority of the Hiwi volunteers and Trawniki men running the camps were Ukrainian. The war ended in 1945 but the Ukrainians fought on until 1956.

It’s a free world … I really don’t give a shit if Ukrainians want to be German Russian or Chinese. The Ukraine is a culturally divided rump state and that’s not an insult …. it’s just a fact. It’s never going to work as a country and the sooner it breaks up into it’s component parts the happier everyone will be.

I just wish that they would come to their senses and figure this out for themselves because as it stands they are being used as useful idiots by the USA, which is not only dangerous for them but dangerous for everyone.

Al Balog

In my case, my grandma’s family (Hungarian Magyars) had to leave Zakarpattia because of how bad things got with the “Lvov-style” Ukrainian Banderists.

Why would Ukrainians fight so hard along side the Germans in WW2? No one does that sort of thing on a whim unless they are insane. There must have been a strong survival motive. Amen!

Degrelle

The Ukrainians were on the right side in world war II, fighting to liberate Russia, but now they have switched sides. Even their so called “Nazis” are fighting for their former enemy, the west and international finance.

The Objective

They need to liberate their territory. Russia should pay a price for its meddling even if it defeats Ukraine in the end. It will suffer great consequences in terms of casualties and economy. This should get some sense into Putin not to always intervene in countries just because Russia isn’t getting its way with that country.
Russia has become another colonial imperialist.

Peter Jennings

That would be great and all but those in the Donbass happen to be Ukrainian too. So there isn’t much liberating to be had.

It is they who have chosen not to allow their piece of Ukraine become occupied by a foreign force, ie: the US and nato. They are what’s left of the Ukrainians, as the Kiev junta is selling their people to nato to use as cannon fodder.

SnowCatzor

You can liberate those who don’t want to be. Very few people from Crimea or the Donbass want the inept rulers in Kiev to govern them again.

It’s gone. Let it go.

Sometimes, the U.S. just mean ’emotional support’ – like cookies and words of encouragement. We can’t help it if Georgia misinterpreted our intentions. They should have learned better english and did a background check on us. That would have prevented their second mistake: trusting us at all.

The Objective

While doing your wonderful comparative analysis, always remember the following two points:
Ukraine is not Georgia
2008 is not 2021

Al Balog

Not quite, Ukraine is really just an oversized Georgia. Weak military and poor morale. Also, Ukraine has had Western promises of “guarantees” that will never come true, just like Georgia.

The Objective

Ukraine is ranked at #25 out of 140 countries in terms of military strength for 2021.
Georgia is ranked #92 out of 140 countries in terms of military strength for 2021.
Quite a big difference don’t you think, especially if you consider the economic war being waged on Russia lately.

Al Balog

Strength does not mean military success. You can give them the strongest American weapons, and Ukraine can still easily lose to modern Russia.

Most Ukrainian military deaths are actually due to infighting, drugs/alcohol, and tripping on their own mines. This military “strength” can’t solve their problems.

The Objective

Ukraine cannot beat Russia militarily, but it can give Russia a bloody long war that the Russian economy simply cannot handle right now.
Putin isn’t going to risk an invasion of Ukraine. Kiev knows this, that’s why it appears hell-bent on taking back its territories from the rebels. If supplied with the right weapons (including Turkish drones) the Ukrainian military should be able to suppress the rebels.

cechas vodobenikov

becoming more stupid by each comment—most Ukrainians would welcome Russian occupation…ukraine never expects to recover territory–this is politico-speak by idiots to keep their nazi brigades from occupying zhitomr

The Objective

It’s gaddamn parents who are stupid for producing a devil like you.
Problem is, you are not fighting most Ukrainians. You’ll be fighting the government backed by Western countries.

Rhodium 10

Turkish drones?..there are dozens of them shot down ( you can search in Google ” Tukish drones shot down” image)….

The Objective

I did search, but I want links from you, preferably published by SouthFront. If there’s one place that will advertise downed Turkish drones, it will be SouthFront. I want you to search their archives for the number of Bayraktar TB2 drones shot down by Russian weapons – in Syria, N-K or Libya.

Rhodium 10

There are dozens of TB2 shot down in Syria and Libya beside 2 more in Martuni ( Karabaj) shot down by a TOR M2….only 2 Pantsir were damage in Syria accord Russian military staff and when Turkish backed terrorist retaken Nayrab and Saraqib we didnt see any Pantsir destroyed!…in Libya 1 of them were destroyed hided in a shelter..one more mounted on a long range Truck while was travelling….2 more by guide artillery….Turkish backed GNA retaken all Tripoli and they didnt show “dozens of Pantsir destroyed by TB2″….

The Objective

Any links from SouthFront as proof? Surely southfront would have reported such incidences that involved Turkish drones.

Rhodium 10

Are SF Pantsir air defense advisor?…

The Objective

SF publishes any bad news regarding Turkish weapons, especially when Russian weapons are involved. SF published a long list of drones and loitering munitions downed during the N-K war. But about 95% of those shot down were Israeli made, when Turkish drones did the real damage to N-K forces.
SF never misses any stories about downed Turkish TB2 drones, if for anything but the embarrassment it gave Russian pantsirs. The reason SF didn’t publish many articles like that in Syria or Libya is because they got no proof.

Rhodium 10

I wrote you that search in google ” Turkish drones shot down”—Image

The Objective

There are lots of false claims on the net. For example, the LNA once announced that it shot down 4 Turkish drones in “24” hours. The reason I’m requesting a link by SF is that despite being a pro-Russian propaganda outlet, SouthFront tries it’s best to provide evidence of destroyed equipment. If they claims cannot be verified, SF says they cannot be verified. The fact that the LNA provided no proof. If you shoot down a drone, you should be able to provide a picture of the wreckage. Hardly did the LNA ever provide any pictures. The same applies to Syrian forces who claimed to have shot down several drones just for propaganda purposes.
When Turkish drones destroy targets, they are often showed in video not even image. That proves to anyone that they actually destroyed those targets.
We’ve seen pictures of downed TB2 drones in Armenia, but only a few, and those were proves that they did actually shoot down a few drones. SF published a long list of drones shot down in N-K. about 90 – 95% were Israeli loitering munitions.
All the fake reports by Ashraq Al-Aswat cannot be verified or proven with pictures, let alone videos.

Rhodium 10

And when the drones have been shot down and fall in Turkish or Azerbajan area…do you think that they are going to show it?…I remember when AZ president denied that any helicopter was shot down until a image was posted after the war….have you seen AZ SU 25 wreckage?..they didnt show it and after the war they told that one SU 25 was shot down and pilot was killed!

The Objective

I just gave you a simple assignment: find the articles on SF. Definitely they would have reported it if they thought those rumors were true. But they didn’t. Russian mercs were in Libya and should have grabbed some of the wreckage. Besides, drones fly close to their target and would fall once hit. It is unlikely that an enemy shoots a drone and it falls too far off.

Rhodium 10

Pantsir have a range of 20km, BUK a range of 50km….no SAA soldier will go to takes picture inside terrorist areas…dont be fool please!

HiaNd

my thoughts (I just don’t want to argue with him)

Ukraine has worse morale than Georgia in 2008 actually…

HiaNd

Exactly my thoughts (but from different angle)!
In 2008 Russia would not be able militarily to do what they can do now….and without any problems.
So I advise you to tell that to your NATO Ukrainian friends that this is not 2008…
No country can play games with Russia now and survive unharmed.

The Objective

We’ll see when this war starts. but remember that Ukraine ranks 25th by global firepower and Georgia ranks a distant 92. Plus, the Ukrainians took time to prepare for this war and have learnt a lot from the Armenian war. If Russia does not intervene by attacking Ukraine directly, the rebels won’t stand a chance if faced by the Ukrainian armed forces backed by Turkish drones and other modern western weapons. I hope Ukraine goes through with its order of 48 TB2 drones. It should even increase that order.

HiaNd

I can’t wait to see those 48 “TB2” drones on sky of Ukraine!
I give those 48 drones not more than 48 minutes to survive.

The Objective

You said a similar thing in Armenia, and what happened?
In Syria, Russia deployed all kinds of defensive weapons, but when the Turks started bombing Assad with drones, nothing happened to stop those drones. We should have had Russian weapons shooting down those drones, but what happened was an embarrassment for the Kremlin. It was a similar thing in Libya. the drones stopped the Russian-backed Haftar and ended his offensive, sending his forces on retreat. If not for the threat of a war with Egypt, the GNA would have take back much of Libya from Haftar’s forces.
And you think the rebels of Donbas will do any differently? We’ll see, but I’m willing to bet my last buck that these rebels won’t stand a chance without Russian direct intervention.

76 mm Super Rapid

Turkish drones has no chance at donbass, crimea where most intensive A2/AD established. These drones can get rid of isolated group of soldiers, howitzers etc(if Ukranians can find them).

The Objective

I guess we’ll soon find out.

HiaNd

YOU will soon find out!
It is only you in foggy bottom of illusions, other people already know Turkish drones has no chance!

The Objective

They won’t be fighting Turkish drones. They’ll be fighting the Ukrainian military. A military that is the 12th largest exporter of arms and has a vibrant defense industry. A military that produces powerful missiles, tanks, AA systems and many other weapon systems. Turkish drones will only add to their strength, but not make up the backbone.

HiaNd

“You said a similar thing in Armenia, and what happened?”

??!!?
No I didn’t !
Russia was not involved in Armenia!
Russia cant be responsible for every mishap on every pro-Russian proxy force.
Lets not have endless talks ! When your ANY KIND of “drones” make decisive defeat to Russian forces Anywhere in the world let me know, but till that moment let us not Waste our time on empty talk!

Haha, US army has gone full woke 😂

HB_Norica

“In Syria, Russia deployed all kinds of defensive weapons, but when the Turks started bombing Assad with drones, nothing happened to stop those drones.”

You mean those Turkish Bayraktar TB2’s that they were using for months as surveillance drones to monitor the SAA as per cease fire agreement and then one day they sent them in armed?

Everyone’s suceptable to a sucker punch.

So remind me … who gained ground in that offensive …. the SAA or the Turkish pets? The Turks had one good day with their drones but the SAA got the M4 highway and a whole bunch of Turkish OP’s high and dry stuck miles behind enemy lines.

“And you think the rebels of Donbas will do any differently?”

Absolutely. Russians have standoff capabilities that far exceeds anything that the Ukraine can throw at them. They also have pretty nifty A2/AD that can keep those long reach weapons safe.

Do you think the USA will risk nuclear war over the Donbass? They really don’t give a shit about the Ukraine … all they care is that Nord Stream 2 doesn’t get completed and they’re looking to create a wedge to villlify Russia with and the Donbass and Crimea are convenient.

Bashil123

You are making a miscalculation they are heavily armed and any war with them is gonna be a dog-fight

The Objective

“Everyone’s suceptable to a sucker punch”. I guess it was also a sucker punch in Libya and Armenia.
“You don’t mention that by March 4 10 Turkish drones were shot down by the SAA and the Turks pulled them out and sued for peace”. Any proofs?

“who gained ground in that offensive …. the SAA or the Turkish pets?”
Not only did Turkey stop the SAA offensive, they rolled it back. Over 1000 dead and over 100 war equipment destroyed. That was only a punitive strike not intended to gain more ground. How would you know the strikes were effective? Because Russia and Assad never attacked Turkish soldiers since then.

“Absolutely. Russians have standoff capabilities that far exceeds anything that the Ukraine can throw at them. They also have pretty nifty A2/AD that can keep those long reach weapons safe.”

Ukraine is the 12th largest exporter of arms. they have mastered missile tech, and produce all kinds of tanks and even AA systems. This country certainly is no pushover. And Russia will NOT risk an invasion. It’ll be far too costly for Putin.

HB_Norica

“I guess it was also a sucker punch in Libya and Armenia.”

No they were poorly armed, poorly trained and poorly led. Just like the Saudi’s get their asses kicked by the Houti’s despite having top of the line US gear and their intel and logistics taken care of by US contractors.

“And Russia will NOT risk an invasion. It’ll be far too costly for Putin.”

Why would Russia invade the Urkaine? I would imagine they’d help defend the Donbass if the Ukraine tried to retake it and I’m certain they’ll defend themselves if Russia is invaded but the Ukraine? … that’s our baby now. We broke it, we bought it we own it.

The Objective

No point arguing it here. Let’s see what happens if war breaks out.

HB_Norica

“Ukraine is the 12th largest exporter of arms. they have mastered missile tech, and produce all kinds of tanks and even AA systems. ”

If they are such masters of military technology why do the constantly beg the USA for military aid and why does the US have to give them basic weapons like humvees, radios and battlefield radars?

The Objective

You also said military aid. Anything for free is always welcome provided it’s not harmful.
Read more about Ukraine’s weapon’s programs here
https://www.usubc.org/site/aerospace-defense-industry/top-10-weapon-systems-made-in-ukraine

Supreme Blyat

Other than hypersonic weapons, Russian military didn’t improve much since Georgian war.

HiaNd

The lowest rate of the modernization is in the navy, other branches have received most of their new or upgraded weapons .
Today only 30% of the Russian army are the conscripts.
Russian army is never better equipped and trained with the battle experience from Chechen wars to Georgia, Syria war….

Supreme Blyat

Obviously they permanently improve but not that much to be able to enter Ukraine without risking heavy losses – like let’s say Americans in Iraq, same period. I would call Georgia and Crimea lucky bets since those didn’t put up a fight. If the blood starts to sheed in Europe, the stocks will tumble and it will be seen as an attack on global economy. I know any teenager here wishes to see that. But that will only make the Dollar stronger.

HiaNd

I think you are wrong on everything.. time will tell….

Bashil123

This.. 100% it would be a blood bad for Russia entering Ukraine head on and probably a major war

Supreme Blyat

And it will also be an economic bood bath.

I would bet against that :)

Rhodium 10

Do you remember when Russian forces entered in a Ukraine air base in Crimea and one Ukrainian soldier screamed “America is with us”….

HiaNd

Ha, ha, ha !
Now that you mention I think I do…!
The most fascinating in Crimea situation was that all vent so smoothly.

Bashil123

that is hilarious

The Objective

looks like the Ukrainian case is a different thing. For one thing, Ukraine much stronger than 2008 Georgia. For the other, Russia is involved in so many foreign conflicts and its economy is not what it used to be over a decade ago. Plus, new parties like Turkey are in support of Ukraine and will supply weapons that Russia current has little defense against. If the Ukrainians can learn from the Armenia war and incorporate some of Azerbaijan’s methods, they will exact a much higher price on Russia than Georgia ever did. They’ll have a better chance of beating the rebels this time, unless Russia intervenes directly instead of just providing support for rebels.

HiaNd

If they put in danger lives of those 400 000 Russian citizens, Ukrainians better be ready to retreat and FAST !

Lone Ranger

Ukropnazis are crying and raging 🤗
Ukrop flag = Down Syndrome Awarness ribbon…

chet380

If the US-directed Ukrainian army attacks Donetsk and Lugansk massively and threatens the lives of Russian-speaking citizens there, it is highly likely that Russia will be forced to intervene ,,, this is the result that the Americans desperately hope for — it would allow them to politically mobilize the EU against Russia and to achieve their desired end game of having the NordStream 2 construction stopped in its tracks … threats and sanctions have not worked, so this is their last resort.

Cromwell

Why should Russia care what the US and Nato think?they have to do whats necessary,if they have to go into Donbass to save lives thats what they should do,doesn’t mean they have to stay there, they didn’t stay in Georgia after giving that tie eating moron a hard lesson.

Al Balog

Yep, that’s a big reason right there- NordStream 2.

Very similar to how Syria escalated in the early 2010s with Assad’s pipeline, where the American Soros elite got angry.

Rodney Loder

Phillipines reiterated their apology for not sticking it to China Duterte is no mug Zelensky is.

South China Sea was given to China when Truman believed Chiang Kai-Shek was on the make, so Stalin got it right, had Stalin lived a bit longer the Ukraine would not have been given Crimea, patience is a virtue because now Russia has ended up with Crimea and the Peoples Republic of Donbass. Khrushchev was the biggest mug of all time except for Yeltsin.

cechas vodobenikov

ukraine nazis begging for money from their fascist older sisters UK and USA

The Objective

Ukraine should learn from Azerbaijan and deal with the rebels. If Russia intervene directly, there’ll be serious consequences in terms of military and economic loses for Russia, and Putin will be stretched to a very uncomfortable extent. With support from the Western world, the war will drag on for long until Russia is forced to let go of the parts of Ukraine it’s trying to permanently annex. The Russians have been asking for a long bloody war for quite some time now. It’s about time they got one.

John Wallace

No wonder you call yourself The Reject because as usual your comment is the wishful thinking of a deluded mind..

The Objective

Your pro-Rusky SouthFront just stated that Ukraine seems to be declaring a war against all countries trying to take its territory. If my thought is wishful, then SF is the one behind that thought. With the right weapons, Ukraine can make it a nightmare for Russia to invade.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Far bigger losses for the U.S, and it’s Nato partners. The only people being stretched.
… And the United States can’t afford that.

The Objective

America can print dollars on thin air. Can Russia?

HiaNd

Finished “printing dollars” out of the on thin air…dollar will collapse soon.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

The American govt can’t print dollars, it can borrow dollars from the Federal Reserve, but that is debt that ultimately the American tax payer guarantees and they are now up to their necks in govt debt.
Russia print’s dollars by selling commodities… So yes, the Russian govt can.

What to expect from Russia’s upcoming amphibious assault ship

“The composition of the air group of the Varan is planned to be formed on the basis of the MiG-29K carrier-based fighters and their modifications, as well as from upcoming next-gen aircrafts with vertical take-off and landing,”
In total, this amphibious assault ship will be able to carry up to 50 aerial vehicles of various classes, ranging from transport helicopters to fighter jets.
The displacement of the ‘Varan’ is about 45 thousand tons. It will be 250 meters long with a width of 65 meters. Draft on the structural waterline will be 9 meters. The ship will be able to reach a maximum speed of 26 nautical knots (up to 50 kilometers per hour).
“The ship’s main feature lies in its modularity. Based on its project, you can create several types of large surface ships, including an aircraft carrier, an amphibious assault ship, a transport and hospital ship and even an Arctic support ship,”comment imagecomment image

The Objective

A few precision anti-ship missiles will send this ship to the bottom of the ocean. Another problem is that the Ship carries only short-ranged planes, which makes it almost impotent against an enemy armed with long-range anti-ship missiles.

HiaNd

Only Russia has capable naval air defenses including future S-500 for new generations of hyper-sonic anti ship missiles that Western world will have eventually in the future.

In missile tech Russia is second to NONE !!
Western world has plenty of catching up to do.

Al Balog

Hey, looking more at your comments I noticed you are one of those anti-Russian Turks. Why not be a pro-Russian Turk, hehe 😁. Pro-Russian Turks are a lot of fun.

Interesting that this picture uses female hands. Probably to emphasize some impression of benevolence.

Band Itkoitko

It would be nice for Russia to have some new larger ships and it’s time. Maybe not aircraft carriers per se but such new amphibious assault ships, destroyers, and why not even another brand new battle cruiser and even one of those aircraft-carrying missile cruisers. And with armament heavy on the oniks, kalibr, zirkon, S-400, S-500, EW and such fancy things.

BMWA1

It is the lack of big-ship capacity…KERCH is now a decent large sized ship building site (Crimea, so only recently). In Soviet times, big ships were built in Nikolaev, in Ukraine. Because of Maidan (!) however, native UA shipbuilding is dead, so most of the Ukrainian technicians and engineers here have been ‘head hunted’ and are nopw working for Russia (ironic!).

Band Itkoitko

Yes, quite ironic. Their other major shipbuilding capacity is in the

Saint Petersburg. I would guess that between building many merchant ships and icebreakers, submarines of various classes, smaller military ships, renewing the battle cruisers, maintaining ships etc., there’s been not much spare shipbuilding capacity in Russia to invest in new destroyers and other things that may appear as a luxury and not of highest priority at that time. Good for them that they have an additional major shipbuilding facility. Maybe in a couple of years we will start seeing the amphibious assault ships from there and maybe even some of those Lider class destroyers or similar.

BMWA1

I looked at recent projects RuN…’40000 tonnes for last amphib ship July 2020 commission…good size but only 1-2 at a time I think… Kerch here.

HiaNd

2 alredy started

HiaNd

” Russia to invest in new destroyers and other things that may appear as a luxury “
It is not that it is “luxury”.
They have changes of the plan. They have postponed building 18 000 tons huge destroyers “Leader”class because too expensive and are now trying to get ready for much more economic option in bigger ships.
That is project 22350M Frigate – or “Gorshkov” class that will be enlarged from 4.500 tons to 8000 tons in “Gorshkov M” frigates.
Bigger size and much bigger fire power

HiaNd

They started to build 2 in Crimea.
They are about 45 000 tons each. Big enough?
See “amphibious assault ships” article I have posted for the specs.
They will have documentation ready for the “Gorshkov M” class -Project 22350M frigates soon (displacing about 8,000 tons). They are destroyers in everything but in name (US destroyers are not bigger ) and with much bigger firepower.
Overhauled “Peter the Great” will have naval S-500…They are starting it next year once overhauled “Admiral Nakhimov” is ready to replace “Peter the Great”.
Both battle ships will have Zircons of course.

Although I do not wish to ruin anyone’s sleep tonight, I thought I had better break the very, very BAD NEWS! Tears are streaming down from my eyes as I write this (from laughter I wonder?). Putin set to boycott Biden Climate Summit! There. I said it.

So, I take it Xi won’t be attending as well.

BMWA1

Best if NOBODY shows! IDK about Xi, though.

Band Itkoitko

This is a psychotic game, nothing substantial. To have proper legal value, this Rada needs to be legitimate, and it’s not.

I think this is an attempt to spread Russia thinly, since a portion of the Black Sea Fleet is involved in Syria. Creating danger close to the border would make Russia be more reluctant to be involved in Syria. At least, that’s what some unwise people may think. If Ukraine had any capacity to take the Donbass back, they would have done it already. Their army is only getting worse in almost all dimensions. If they could fight a war, they would have fought it. So they only talk the talk.

Donbass is capable of defending itself from the Ukrainian army. Only if foreign parties get substantially involved, Russian help may be needed.

Ukraine is a true problem for Russia and will need to be addressed at some point. On the other hand, Ukraine drains the west.

HiaNd

“once Ukraine finally falls apart, Europe will be flooded”
It will not go that far.
Those are not Russian intentions or Russian plans….
weaker, smaller Ukraine is just fine, but nothing more than that.

Band Itkoitko

I should say it “if Ukraine falls apart”. Putin gave a good signal that this is not Russia’s interest, but some stubborn foreign entities may have this goal (or simply not care at all) and there’s always a chance that they may succeed, even if small.

Minsk agreements did present a reasonable framework to maintain Ukraine at least formally in one piece. They don’t seem to want that. Minsk agreements are currently dead and have been for quite some time. Ukraine never even gave a signal that they would attempt to implement them.

In spite of what Western media tells you the Maidan demonstrations, also called the “revolution of dignity” was an armed coup, extremely violent and spearheaded by Right Sector militants, who willingly placed the US appointed Yatsenyuk into power along with the US supported Neo-Nazi political front Svoboda.

What followed were fraudulent elections where ethnic cleansing and genocide predictably yielded a pro US and pro EU client regime. One can perhaps understand why many Russian speakers in the eastern Ukraine took up arms in 2014 when they saw the flags of the OUN proudly displayed in Kiev after the violent overthrow of the elected government.

After the Maidan the leaders of two right wing neo-Nazi organisations were rewarded with control of four ministries. For example, Andriy Parubiy, co-founder of the fascist Social National Party (SNPU), which later changed its name to Svoboda, became the new top commander of the National Defense and Security Council. (covering the military, police, courts and intelligence apparatus). The CIA renamed the organisation to “Svoboda,” meaning “Freedom,” to make it more acceptable to Americans.

Dmytro Yarosh, Right Sector commander, was second-in-command of the National Defense and Security Council. This is the man who organized and ran Ukraine’s February 22nd Coup in Kiev, and the May 2nd Massacre of Its Opponents in Odessa, for Barack Obama. Yarosh’s teams carry out the most violent operations for the CIA in Ukraine. They are responsible for the atrocities committed in the Donbass, for the crimes against humanity.

Oleh Tyahnybok, co founder of the SNPU and currently the party leader of Svoboda, A self confessed neo-Nazi. He opposed the introduction of the Russian language as the second official state language; called for the lustration of former communist officials. He also proposed recognition of the fighting role of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and Ukrainian Insurgent Army during World War II.

Washington had chosen to spearhead Neo-Nazis into positions of authority. Under a “regime of indirect rule”, however they take their orders on crucial military and foreign policy issues including the deployment of troops directed against the Russian federation, from the the US State Department, the Pentagon and NATO. From fabricating an “invasion,” to the claims of “threatened” lives, to the labeling of Russians as “subhuman,” Yatsenyuk recited fully the script of Nazism used to justify its various historical crimes against humanity. Kiev’s forces in eastern Ukraine are not fighting an “invasion,” but constitute an invading force themselves, making incursions into eastern Ukraine and holding territory only through unmitigated brutality against local populations clearly collaborating with armed self-defense forces intent on resisting Kiev’s fascism.

Its no coincidence that Victoria Nuland indicated the US had invested $5 billion on a regime change in Ukraine and its no coincidence that the CIA was in Kiev to ensure that the regime change occurred. Its no coincidence that the Rand Corporation documented the necessary steps to cleanse the eastern federations prior to the events and its no coincidence that fascist organisations were enlisted to action the cleansing of ethnic Russians, to ensure that a pro Russian government is not returned to power in Ukraine.
