Israel Claims Russian Version Of Il-20 Incident Is Fake

Donate

On September 23, the Israeli military rejected the Russian statement that it is responsible for the downing of the Il-20 intelligence plane on September 17 and insisted that the coordinate mechanism with Russia was used properly prior to the incident.

“The deconfliction mechanism operated in the relevant timeframe (as it has been operating over the last two and a half years,” the Israeli military said in an official statement.

Furthermore, the Israeli military repeated its claims that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) warplanes were in Israeli airspace at the time of the downing of the Russian plane. The Israeli military went on to blame Syria for the incident once again and vowed to continue its operations against Iranian forces in the war-torn country.

“The IDF [Israeli Defense Forces] will continue to operate in accordance with the directives of the Israeli Government against Iran’s incessant attempts to establish itself in Syria and to arm the terrorist organization Hezbollah with lethal and accurate weapons,” the Israeli military statement reads.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia released a radar map that proves IAF warplanes hide behind the Il-20 before it was hit by Syrian air defense fire. The ministry also confirmed that Israel informed it only one minute ahead of the airstrike and provided false info about the location of the target.

The radar map released by the Russian MoD shows that that Israel lied about the location of its warplanes during the incident.

Israel’s refusal to recognize its mistake and its insistence on conducting new attacks will likely lead to more tension with Russia. The situation may escalate further if Israel launches new attacks without improving the de-escalation mechanism with Russia.

Jews = liars. It’s very simple. They are hard wired that way.

    • alejoeisabel

Stupid ad hominem remark. Devoid of meaning. Sad.

      • Monte George Jr

No. The comment is relevant, and the conclusion is of cosmic importance.

      • Sinbad2

But it’s true, Jews fight via lies and deception, they have always done it that way, read the hasbara handbook, it goes into details about how to mislead.

      ” Jews = liars ”

Not all of them. The self-hating Jews tell the truth sometimes.

      • Sinbad2

        Yes, Henry Kissinger once said,
“Any people who have been persecuted for 2000 years must be doing something wrong”

        • Brother Thomas

There are trolls on this site playing both sides.

          • Sinbad2

So you see it as taking sides?
You are either with us, or against us?
It is that black and white philosophy of so many Jews, that creates anti-semitism.

Haven’t you ever wondered why out of the mass of religions and tribes in the world, only Jews are consistently disliked throughout the world, and over thousands of years?

          • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

They refuse to ask themselves that question, they are convinced it is only due to the “others”. But the Palestinians have to accept it is their own fault that the ZioNazis stole their land.

          • Brother Thomas

I didn’t say “taking sides”. I said “playing both sides”. You can see some if the comments posted and judge for yourself.

I cannot answer your question about Jews being disliked over thousands of years. Humans are tribal by nature, and our past is studded with bigotry against just about anyone who was different and in the minority. It doesn’t make it right and we need to grow past it if we are to survive as a species.

          • Concrete Mike

Using the anti semitism phrase s somewhat wrong, in the context of jew hating.

Most jews are eastern europeean. Like loom how white bibi is.

A semite is someone from samaria. These people dont look anything like bibi or luberman??

So i find the anti semitic phrase is an ignorant trap, dont fall for it brother.

            Have a good day.

Yes there like the erdogan of the forum, play off bothsides, sorry erdo dont want to insult you that bad….LOL

  • alejoeisabel

For Israel, no legal basis exists to oppose bilateral relations between two sovereign nations. The relationship between Israel and the United States is a sovereign decision as is the relationship between Syria and Iran. The real difference is that the Untied States supports the Israeli aggressor and occupier of the Syrian Golan Heights, and Iran supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria. The difference is HUGE.

    • SPEAKER OF THE TRUTH

The difference is that the Syrians and Iranians and Russians are humans. The Israelis aren’t, and the United States is controlled by them.

If humanity is not protected by the elimination of subhumans, humanity will not survive.

One cannot debate with those who do NOT want to debate, as is the case with the empire-in-decline and the ZioNazi garbage dump.

          • Those that do not want to debate should have no say in any matter.

Zionist claims over Palestine have always been biblical, in the end there simply is no supporting evidence to support the claims made .

No evidence to right to speak.

          • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Yes, but you are also closing your eyes to reality. The Jews that are there, most of who are vile ZioNazis, are there to stay. So, they have to be part of any discussion, which is what they don’t want because they know their project, the ZioNazi entity, lacks all legitimacy just like WW2 Nazi Germany did.

If Israel dare to attack Latakia where is Russian military base and also very close to Russian navy base in Tartus. then it means that Israel could also attack Russian both military bases. Israel are more dear to Putin than Russian nation but this may lead Putin to treason crime.

Sometimes, people have to hang themselves Rob. I think the IDF just did.

    • BL

Jews are incessant liars, they just cannot stop lying, even when there’s no logical or obvious reason. It’s almost like a natural defense mechanism.

      • Brother Thomas

You confuse too easily “Jews” with the actions of the current government of Israel. Jews living in NY or London are no more responsible for Netanyahu and Lieberman than the Chinese living in San Francisco were for Mao, or Germans in present day Berlin for Hitler.

Your comments are indisputably “anti-Semitic” and you should reflect on where blind and stupid hate of an entire race, religion or nation leads us.

        • BL

I used to speak the way you do until I figured out that my number 1 life idol, the American Jew named (((Noam Chomsky))) was a Zionist criminal terrorist psychopath masquerading as a humanitarian. When he started covering up for the fact that American Jews were responsible for the 9/11 Terrorist attacks I started investigating Jewish history and have since realized how these criminal kikes operate in great detail. I will never trust another Jew in my life again. I also have a hard time understanding how someone can call themselves a Jew and demand respect from the Goyim whom they consider as lower class people who must be controlled, enslaved, and exploited for the benefit of a bunch of kike rodent.

          • Brother Thomas

Take a break troll. You seem too devoted to “hating Jews” to be the real thing. If you are part of the hasbara (and a Jew yourself), you should be totally ashamed of yourself for spreading hatred against Jews from which to create yourself a violent Zionist platform.

          • ZP

but you never disputed what he claimed?

          • telemetrie

ok, let Jews kick ass of all their warmongering globalists leaders , namely Netanyahu , Soros, Kissinger, Rothschild etc. in the name of humanity and THEN I will accept that not all the Jews are war criminals.

          • BL

If you had any idea the extent of crimes Jews have been involved with over the centuries you wouldn’t want to be associated with such a criminal group of people. Jewish criminality goes back way before the creation of Zionism. I’m not saying all Jews are bad people but there’s no way for us Goyim to figure out which one of you are normal ordinary people and which ones are criminals about to scheme our destruction. Antisemitism is just Goyim self defense against nonstop Jewish criminality and conspiring.

          • Brother Thomas

Your response is very stupid. You can say that about any group of people- kill all Muslim because you dont know which is a terrorist; jail all bankers because you don’t know which ones might cheat; arrest all men because you don’t know which ones might turn out rapists.

Hope you can see how utterly ridiculous you sound. Fyi, here are some very great Jews including Albert Einstein and Hannah Arendt in an open letter opposing Menachen Begin the terrorist.

If you are yourself Jewish (as I suspect you are), don’t bring shame to your people and disrespect your ancestors.

          • BL

First of all nobody said anything about killing or jailing anyone. Second of all relative to population Jews have been far more invovled in criminal activity than all those other groups you mentioned. It’s not even close. In fact most of the other problem groups you mentioned are directly related to Jews. Those “Muslims” you speak of follow the Jewish created sect of Wahhabi Islam, which was created by Zionist agents of the former British Empire as part of a larger project to break up the Ottoman Empire. The bankers you mentioned are part of a Jewish created economic system that is based on Jewish usury, theft, and deception. Jews created modern banking, it has its origins in ancient Venice. As I said you’re simply unaware and unfamiliar with the real non-kosher version of Jewish history. If you really knew what Jews have done in history you yourself would be embarrassed to be associated with such a group.

          • NeoLeo

If you have the pattern that repeats for 2000+ years, it you have this supremacist ideology, this sick religion (*judaism) that teach how the chosen people are above all others, then it is the real problem. Not modern Zionism, even Hertzl himself was an anti-semite, but their entire ‘religion’ is evil. I don’t hate ordinary jewish people, I don’t think they all are responsible for Israeli crimes, no one even ask them, but what defines them as jewish is evil.

Read about the Maccabean revolt for example, jewish fanatics first slaughtered all non-fanatical Jews – and thats something Israel celebrates even today (Hanukkah)!
            Here is what they say:
            https://www.haaretz.com/jewish/.premium-maccabean-revolt-the-true-story-1.5343197

Then read about the Kitos war, when the jewish settlers one day simply started systematically slaughtering civilians throughout entire eastern mediterranean, their neighbours, everyone non-jewish was killed, women, children… Around 1 million people was killed, insane number for that time, they depopulated half of the roman empire! They created religious terrorism. Yes, that was 2000 years ago, there are countless more examples, because that’s what they are. That’s who they are… There are countless more examples, not ‘theories’ but historical facts. 2000+ years of hate and religious fanaticism. “Goys” hated them, but they hated even more. Is there a word for jewish hate against non-jews? They never renounced their crimes. They are proud of their crimes. They commit new crimes every day. Netanyahu said they are exactly the same thing as the ancient Israel. Ideological continuation. They still hate us. And they always will…

          • John Whitehot

that the zionist will try to make all goyms hate all jews is a well established fact.

it’s also something that is in front of everybody’s eyes though, jews and non-jews.

          • neil barron

The rodent you speak of as you lowered yourself in to the abyss of it’s of satans works.

        • Sinbad2

Whilst you are right, and it is wrong to blame all members of the tribe for the crimes of the few, most Jews defend the crimes of Israel.
The few that do take the honorable approach are condemned by their fellow Jews.
Blaming all of a faith or tribe for the crimes of the few is not unique to Jews.
It happens to Muslims, Catholics, Gypsies and it happens to Russians and used to happen to Germans.
I feel sorry for the truly innocent Jews in the world, but the Jewish religion teaches racial superiority. A young Jewish child cannot help but be brain washed.

“If it were not for the accident of my birth, I would be anti-Semitic,”(Henry Kissinger)

          • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

            Very well put !!

        • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

The Jews are not a race, but a mixture of Khazars, Indians, Chinese, Africans, Europeans, etc.

You are right that the ZioNazi entity does not represent world Jewry, but a significant part of world Jewry supports that garbage dump.

And how is saying “Jews are incessant liars …” an antisemitic remark? Is saying that “the French stink” or “the Germans are arrogant” racist? I doubt you will answer with “yes”, so why is the statement about the Jews equivalent to hatred of the Jews?

Another issue you ignore: being a Jew is a choice: you can convert to Judaism or you can renounce it. And any choice is always open to debate and can be criticised. So what have the Jews done to earn special treatment?

Why do they need their own classification of racism? Because it is more important than any other form of racism and therefore needs to be dealt with immediately, whereas the other forms can be dealt with as and when convenient?

And then you wonder why you guys and that filthy, racist, genocidal ZioNazi garbage dump in the Middle East are responsible for generating real anti-Jew racism. Unfortunately, there are far too few Jews who do honour to their religion and their people.

          • Brother Thomas

            Too much hate.
Be careful it is not just hate within you looking for an excuse and a cause.
            Peace.

          • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

My hate is directed at a racist, genocidal entity that is on a par, if not beyond, WW2 Nazi Germany. Everyone has a right to criticise a state, like Satanyahoo keeps doing with Iran.

And what can’t I call that cesspool of racism and murder for what it is?

No, I am not looking for an excuse: I am calling a spade a spade, which in the case of Jews is always a sore issue when they are concernedsimply because they know it is true. And every day my hate against that stinking garbage dump, as well as its leaders and supporters arund the world frows in me, I confirm.

There will only be peace when that cancerous, putrefying boil on the face of the earth has been dismantled and rebuilt into a true demcocracy from the river to the Med with EQUAL rights for ALL its citizens, incl. the Palestinains. It was imposed on WW2 Nazi Germany, it can be imposed again, it is needed urgently.

Like I said, unfortunately there are far too few Jews who do honour to their religion and their people.

        • gustavo

Could you show us a Jew who do not support zionists actions ? Of course, of 45 million jews I know just a few of them that I can count with my hand fingers that do not like what Israel has been done since 1945.

Basically they’re asking for help from the Russian fifth column to be their apologists. Thing is the Russian military knew very well what have happened and they’re on greater independence now that the west russophobic trends and military escalation on their border placed them in higher position in national interest. Quite an irony. Laughably so even.

    • zman

This is for world-wide MSM propaganda…more crying for poor Israel. Israel will NEVER admit being wrong, as in their eyes, they never are. Gods can do whatever they like and cannot be held responsible for anything. This is necessary to keep the sheep in the flock from straying from the narrative. Israel lying, as natural as water being wet.

  • Jim Bim

Here is a link to RT with todays video presentation and data over how many times Russia has helped and taken Israel side.
Turns out, the reason why Syria has no S-300, is because Israel demanded Russia to abandon the S-300 deal Russia had made with Syria.
Russia terminated the contract and repaid Syria 400 million dollars.
The last 2 years, Israel has violated Syrian airspace over 200 times and fired missiles and bombs most of the time.

    • Joe Dickson

It is better than the IDF rolling towards Damascus.

      • TiredOfBsToo

No chance on that. IDF is brave when targeting unarmed civilians or hiding in the radar shadow of a Russian plane when firing in support of terrorists while firing on Syrian civilians and infrastructure.

        • Joe Dickson

The have done it in the past and they are better equipped now than they have ever been.

          • TiredOfBsToo

So are the defenders. That’s the reason they hid behind the Russian plane…. cowards!

          • John

            You are way overestimating them.

          • Joe Dickson

Why else would Russia be scared of them?

          • Anti_Globalista

Jewish lobby in Moscow is paying up the right people in Russian government. Same story in Washington. It wouldn’t surprise me if in a few years Russian Parliament approves billions of dollars for military help to Israel. That’s how Jewish lobbying works. They pay pennies to politicians, and then in return politicians give billions of taxpayers money to Israel.

          • as

There are no scared of who they’re client state that exist to sell their friends out. Simple.
Israel would be saved by Russia or China if anything it’s because they would definitely sell the USA over to them. Their only problem for them is there would be no new unconditional sugar daddy as nice as the USA that can pour out billions of money every year and forgive it for every mischief it play against it.
I should say if you’re an USA citizens you should be very scared of Israel because they have completely in control of everything it need to regime change and balkanize the US.

          • Joe Dickson

The SAA has been decimated by years of civil war. They are in their weakest state in… ever?

          • No. They were in their weakest state ever then the Russians came in.
Since then they’ve got stronger and stronger with each passing year.
Now they’re a top fighting force.

          • Joe Dickson

According to the trade register Russia has only given them 35 tanks and 20 BMPs since they started the intervention in 2015. The SAA and SAAF are running on old war stocks flying museum aircraft dropping homemade bombs and driving antiquated tanks. The size of the army and air force have been reduced by 2/3rds since the outbreak of hostilities.

          • They’re STILL holding their own and more.

Battlefield in Syria is one of the most deadliest and evolved one. They’re holding on very well. Much better than the Americans that were killed off, maimed, and diapered off in Iraqi streets.

          • Joe Dickson

How did the SAA do much better when they lost 130,000 killed when America only had 4,400 killed?

          • as

How did the US soldiers still get killed in the thousands against armies that don’t have MIC or Air forces or anything else resembles heavy weaponry that their counterpart were even just illiterate undereducated desert dwellers ? Why they can’t even defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan ?

SAA sit on equal ground and sometimes even below their al qaeda, al nusra, ISIS, or all those USA mercs counterparts in terms of equipments and their battleground involving Al qaeda air forces that they weren’t even allowed to destroy despite their ability to destroy them and still they’re winning their war holding into most of the territory they gained. In the other hand Afghanistan is losing theirs against Taliban.

          • Joe Dickson

How did 20,000 Russian soldiers get killed by a bunch of jihadis in Chechnya when they had an MIC and air forces in their own country? The Chechen resistance is still blowing things up in Russia so that isn’t defeated either. You can never defeat insurgents with military force. You have to defeat their mentality. The US took Iraq in a matter of weeks, the SAA has yet to take Syria and it has been years, that is the difference.

          • as

In matter of weeks ? Surely not. They’re fighting street to street against the Iraqi army for months following with years of guerrilla fighting there all for their bogus claim that they’re after WMD now proved to be false yet they don’t arrest their instigators that have killed all those thousands of Americans for nothing.
And no the Chechen resistance is dwindling out where did you get your info ? The same guy must be saying that Iraq is a walk in the park. Sure.

Now answer the question here what they’re doing in Syria ?

          • Joe Dickson

It only took 21 days to capture Baghdad and send Saddam into his rat hole. It took less than that to grab the oil which was all they ever wanted and still have. Americans don’t care about anything else nor are they required to.

They are in Syria to partition a Kurdish state so they can create a new ally to replace Turkey.

          • as

Wow and we’re definitely not robber’s masquerading as an army. Sure. At least you do admitted that the US military is just corporate mercs and thugs.

          • Joe Dickson

It is the same story for all of the Great Powers, not just the US.

    • John Brown

Turns out, the reason why Syria has no S-300, is because Israel, the remaining Russian Jewish oligarchs, the Jewish run Russian Central Bank, Jewish owned Russian media and Israel’s NATO slaves demanded it

    • Bill Wilson

Where in the Hell did Damascus come up with $400 million USD? The GDP of their war economy is lower than that amount so rely upon Iran loaning them $1 Billion each year to fund the government. I doubt if Damascus would be willing to spend 40% of that on a missile system that would never be used.

      • Ricky Miller

It was back before the war srarted. Oil and gas revenue and believe it, tourism.

        • Ronald

Agriculture and manufacturing as well, Syria was not a poor country.

      • Jim Bim

Well, ask RT, the claim is in the video. The contract was before 2011. Remember Iran, they paid 800 million for the S-300 in 2007, but because of US/Israel pressure, Iran first received them 2 years ago. How Damascus comes up with 400 million, how did Turkey come up with 2.5 billion for the S-400…..Russia gave them a loan. How did Turkey have the money for the TurkStream, Russia paid most of it, the rest is a loan. How do other countries come up with millions/billions they don`t have, when buying from Russia or China, they either get a very favorable deal or they get a loan with very low interest, some get it even free….with some string attached. Russia has given Syria, military hardware for billions, incl. upgraded T-90, Pantsir, upgrades of their jets, missiles, …and so on.

      • Sigh…. what was their GDP in 2003?

    • S Melanson

they are getting the S-300 as recently reported here at Southfront

  • igybundy

Not really surprised the liars and their door mats are out in force on this. Being of such low intelligence it should be taken for granted that the quality of common sense is rather non existent..

  • Tommy Jensen

If only Israel would improve the coordinate mechanisms. This is the only thing the whole world ask Israel to do, only this!
If Israel would do ONLY this, we could have peace!

    • HardHawk

you mean lay down and die, holding their breath?

    • Solutions_Love

I laugh at your so called logic. Nothing but a cheap Zio troll with nothing but fake bs delusions LOL

  • RichardD

The Russians have provided proof, the baby rapers haven’t. Given their history and the available evidence. I’ll go with the Russian version.

    • gustavo

Right ! Evidences are evidences, point. End of discussion.

  • John

Kind of expected this. It is dumb stuff. Let them talk. What comes next is what counts and the Israelis are not in that decision loop. It looks like they were grilled but good in Moscow and now comes the pain. My take.

    • HardHawk

      mine as well.

  • HardHawk

So………. if israelis tell the russians where they will hit next is ok with the russians, as long they kill syrians and civilians seriously?

    • Promitheas Apollonious

      r u on home ground?

      • HardHawk

in couple of weeks, I be. I let you know

    • telemetrie

Yes, this is “balanced” deal, perfectly ok with Putin.

    • It;s why Israel gives the Russians a false address and only a minute’s warning…. to stop them warning the Syrians and the Syrians moving the stuff out the way.

This time it backfired and now they pay the price.

      • HardHawk

only the last time not the 200+ before. And you not answering what I ask and it was an academic question, requiring no answer.

        • Out of the 200 before they warned 25 times.
I’m thinking that reading that in the media didn’t please Mr Shoigu – made him look silly.

But. To answer your question – it does appear to be the case.
Let’s see if that has changed now. Mr Asaad must likely be giving the Russians many big earfuls about it too.

  • Carol Davidek-Waller

Russia has documentation. Israel only hot air. There is fake news about and it isn’t coming from Russia. Israel cares nothing for the human family. Only a very narrow definition of itself. Holocaust survivors are/were better cared for in Holland than in Isael.

    • HardHawk

there was no holocaust, the way you mean it and definetely, not to the jews.

      • Concrete Mike

        6 millions jews!!!!
Oh wait, there were only 4.5 million in 1939!!!

        • HardHawk

yes and when the war was over sudently was more than 12 million not only claiming to be jews but also 90% of them described how they was in consentration camps.

The funny part few know the serial number inprinted on their forearms was developed by IBM a 100% zionist owned company. Any way who give a sh*t for what the zionists said back then and their collaborators promote it so they silense people.

There is a global war in many forms happenning for centuries and wake up humans have one choice today join the globalists or fight against them. Most chose to go when ever the wind goes and become irrelevant to the bigger picture.

    • Sinbad2

More Russians died in the Nazi camps than Jews, but you only ever hear about the Jews, Gypsies were also slaughtered, as were Poles and Ukrainians, but you only ever hear about the Jews.

      • Brother Thomas

I think the Holocaust is a dangerous diversion. Regardless of the concentration camps and how many were killed from which ethnic group (I personally believe many, many Jews were scapegoated and killed) this is NO justification for Israel’s or anyone else’s present day actions in the Middle East.

  • John Mason

Bit of a joke for a fake state, Israel, stating that the Russians are lying! Like the fake MSM asking you to believe there stories.

    • Brother Thomas

When was the last time Israel told the truth?

      • john

never been recorded since the beginning of time . . .

      • John Mason

        Sometime BC?

  • Brother Thomas

The details provided by the Russians and the tone in which they were delivered makes them almost certain to be true. They are convincing as they are damning.

Yet to say that that Isreal used the Il-20 as a human shield and radar cover to hide behind is to give still Israel the benefit of the doubt because there is a darker interpretation: Israeli intended for the Syrian air defences to shoot down the Il-20; that it was intentional. That it was the objective of the mission.

    • S Melanson

yes and targeting latakia where russian bases are is practically declaring war and things are really spiralling out of control, see my post below

    • al quaida

And what does that objective achieve?
All I can see it achieving is making it more difficult for Israel to conduct further airstrikes.

      • Brother Thomas

Whatever the intent, it backfired badly for Israel.

  • S Melanson

Here is what I have come to understand of what is happening and it is about as serious as it can get. you can search for stories on this which I recommend and follow developments closely – what is unfolding is basically a cuban missile crisis but in Syria and surrounding areas.

Russia is nuclear arming in Syria right now. US is recalling nuclear reserve personnel – this is not done lightly and means concerns of nuclear exchange is high. Russia conducting drills off Israeli coast and has armed several kalibre cruise missiles with nuclear warheads while closing off airspace around Israel. Russian military have reason to believe imminent Israeli first strike planned – limited nuclear attack on russian positions in Syria and assets in Mediterranean.

I find this believable given the shocking Israeli response to downing of IL-20 – belligerence. Bibi is now stabbing Putin in the back but Putin is ready for it. As for how this unfolds, all bets are off.

    • Brother Thomas

Understand from what source? Sounds like the source is “S Melanson” – i.e., fake news.

      • S Melanson

at this stage it is information from multiple sources and piecing it together. i encourage southfront readers to research into developments as they add up and paint consistent picture of prep for hot war including nonconventional. i have to go unfortunately but point out that some personal sources I have that are credible are sounding alarm that things could get really serious and they are usually conservative – this is different

        • Brother Thomas

Your answer is neither credible nor logical. After raising the specter of nuclear war, referring to vague “personal sources”, you then then say you have to “go unfortunately.” To oversea the nuclear cruise missiles, no doubt.

          Give me a break! Lol.

          • S Melanson

As for holding back the S-300, not anymore.

I agree about backing up what I say and will do so. I did provide some example of the basis for my opinions such as a far less restrained Russian response.

You mention “I doubt given the restrain Russia has shown in the face off numerous provocations”. This is fair and has been the assumption in many analyst writings but this situation could be very different and for some of the reasons why, see my last reply to Shahna.

        • Give your sources!
You are not credible without them and you are not going to send readers off on a wild goose chase!

          • S Melanson

I would hold the same position as you but I do have a track record and in just 24 hours there have been further ominous developments consistent with my warning that this situation is different and explosive.

My sources cover several dozen articles over the past week and taken together provide the basis for my opinion. I did the same thing in predicting Houthi victory well before it became apparent the coalition offensive had failed. I also predicted the destruction of the coalition force driving up the west coast and assaulting the airport. I did provide an example of how I came to my conclusions based on many sources and facts that together told the story. I will review my posts to find the one I do this and will paste into a reply here if you wish. I will try to do the same thing here but events are moving very fast.

Russia is giving the Syrians S300 and Israel made clear they will not tolerate and even told Russia to keep its surveilance planes away. Note also the military seem to be controlling the narrative, not Putin and this is significant. Russia is also flying in massive ordinance under extreme security which military veterans comment is indicative of very sensitive ordinance – nuclear, another poster here suggested hypersonic and other advanced tech which i agree may be the case rather than nuclear. Either way, this is cuban missile crisis in the making.

          • I don’t know you. I don’t know your track record.
And I’ve been here for years.

You refuse to give your sources – and you’ve been asked for them a number of times by more than me – you’re telling me your predictions after the event and I think you’re full of shit.

You have a lot to say but none of it SOURCES.
            Put up or shut up.
            Your choice.

And Israel is welcome to test Russian determination,
            I hope they do.

          • S Melanson

… and indeed they are both testing each others determination. May God have mercy on us all.

          • S Melanson

i agree and will put together basis for my opinions. it will take some time but will do as fastt as i can

          • Thank you – I look forward to it.

          • S Melanson

i am glad you pushed me to do so

          • I’ll be glad you’re glad when I see a source.

          • S Melanson

the number of sources are several dozen and involve synthesis that examines history, context, words and actions. I am right now evaluating control in Moscow as it seems the military is at odds with Putin’s position of restraint in diplomacy. . Here is one example of many:

Russian President Vladimir Putin commented, “It’s a different situation,” when asked whether Russia will retaliate against Israel as it did against Turkey in 2015. “Back then, the Turkish jet deliberately targeted our aircraft. Here, rather, it appears to be a chain of tragic situational circumstances because Israeli jets didn’t hit our [plane],” Putin explained at a press conference with Hungary’s President Viktor Orban.

He added, “Our attitude to the tragedy is outlined in the Defense Ministry statement, which was fully coordinated with me. Regarding our retaliation measures, they will be first and foremost aimed at providing additional security to our servicemen, our [military] objects in Syria. And those will be steps that everyone will notice.”

Putin says ‘Our attitude to the tragedy is outlined in the Defense Ministry statement, which was fully coordinated with me.’

            The Defence Ministry statement(s):
“The guilt for the downed plane lies fully with the Israeli party,” Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Liberman in a phone conversation following the incident. Shoigu stressed that Moscow had repeatedly warned Israel against strikes on Syria via different channels.

“We consider these provocative actions by Israel to be hostile. The 15 Russian military service members died because of the irresponsible actions of the Israel military. It’s absolutely contrary to spirit of Russian-Israeli partnership. We reserve the right to respond appropriately,” the Russian Defense Ministry stated.

            Read more: http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2018/09/russia-israel-syria-downed-plane.html#ixzz5S2ocpnaq

The Russian Military has held this position from the outset and this has not changed. So let us compare to Putin’s statement reported in the same article:

‘Back then, the Turkish jet deliberately targeted our aircraft. Here, rather, it appears to be a chain of tragic situational circumstances because Israeli jets didn’t hit our [plane]’

Clearly Putin’s statement is contradictory to the position of the Defence Ministry. Yet Putin states he coordinated with the Defence Ministry. It is of interest that Putin felt the need to say explicitly he coordinated with the Defence Ministry as it is typically left unsaid and implicitly understood in prior incidents – but not this time and the statements are so contradictory it places such coordination in doubt.

Consider also that Putin did not meet with the high level Israeli delegation sent to make the case the blame lies with Syria and not Israel. The link to the article below comments on this disastrous meeting. Note that the article below is consistent with other articles and events unfolding – I rely on multiple sources and checked against events unfolding before accepting a position on a matter.

            https://robinwestenra.blogspot.com/2018/09/unverified-reports-of-israeli-military.html

In the article it states Putin refused to meet the delegation and only senior leaders of the Defence Ministry attended. This is at odds with Putin’s rather conciliatory statement above and the fact he talked at length with Netanyahoo by phone about mending relations – odd response to refuse to meet a delegation intended to ‘mend’ relations. The Defence Ministry certainly gave the Israeli delegation a treatment very different from past meetings with Putin.

That Putin is in full control is the assumption in early articles which argued the Israeli/Russian relationship is strong and friendly and so the incident with the downing of the IL-20 will blow over and no lasting damage to relations. If Putin is not in full control, these predictions are not valid and events unfolding are giving every indication of continuing escalation with concrete actions.

This brings to mind the Sum of all Fears where the military went rogue and the Russian President claimed he ordered the attack when he in fact did not do so and would have opposed such. This situation has similarities and suggests Putin has at the very least a weakened hand on the reigns of power with an increasingly forceful military – this is inflamed further by Israel’s hard stance in defiance of the Defence Ministry’s position – the Israeli position seems more in line with Putin’s statement and Israel may have assumed this would be the position of the military as well given Putin in control.

So the initial belligerence of Israel may be understandable but once it was clear the Russian military had a very different view, hostile to Israel, it is notable that Israel has not changed its stance, yet.

This is important support for my opinion the situation is different and volatile. Putin has demonstrated consistently restraint in diplomacy and if he is weakened by a emboldened military leadership, the likelihood of escalation goes up. Based on Ministry of Defence response so far, there is certainly an escalation happening that is missing the typical restraint of Putin’s diplomacy. Add to this the Israeli response we have two sides escalating and hence my reference to a Cuban Missile crisis in the making.

Note this is an example done quickly and is not rigorous but shows the process I use in connecting dots – this also helps weed out fake news and errors in reporting.

            ————–
Why on earth would the president meet with military types?
Military types would meet with military types.

          • S Melanson

You are correct and sorry for realizing this so late. My wording was misleading and you made a good catch.

Israel wanted a high level meeting including NetanYahoo and other political figures to meet with Russian counterparts but this was rejected – Russia wanted to restrict the meeting to military professionals and this is what took place – so Putin would not be expected to be present.

But it is notable that the Israeli request was rejected.

          • You’re happy to waste your precious time with comments but not to use it to find and put up your SOURCES.

            Ordnance coming in abcd .com
            nuclear coming in xyxw .com

The info is valid and valuable ONLY when we know where it’s coming from. Your name and claim is not enough.

    • as

It is not nuclear arms it’s perhaps their captured missile or the bavar 373 they’re working to engineer. The problem with the Israeli airstrikes is there would be no things of significant value they could target without the Russian approval in which the Russian can and have warned the Syrian when such things were targeted either to be moved or to be alerted to defend.
Anything that the Russian that need Syrian to have including AF, AD assets would be off limit.
And as such due to their understanding of them the Israeli intentionally send a false warning of northern part airstrikes while striking western coast of Latakia province in hope they can destroy what the Russian have protected from them.

      • S Melanson

there is an enormous ordinance transfer to syria from russia as well as some under intense security protection consistent with unconventional weapons cargo. by the way, i hope i am wrong on this.

        • as

They do not have to place their nuclear in Syria to use them and security conditions for their upkeep and use in there is the worst there is. If they want a nuclear retaliation they can carry them over from their own territory.
Arming Syria with nuclear weapons is crazy and illogical in every way it can be seen be it strategical or political.

          • Sinbad2

Agreed, the Russian ships/subs would already be carrying nuclear weapons and Russia could fire a tactical nuke from within Russia.
Why risk a nuke falling into enemy hands?

          • Ricky Miller

Yes, this info is bogus. No way Russia arms any Kalibr cruise missiles with nuclear warheads. Not here, not now. On which ships? The three Admiral Grigorovich class frigates? Or the three Buyan-M corvettes? Each of these ships have only eight vertical launch cells. Three are probably dedicated to land attack, four to anti-ship variants and one to the reach out and say hello to our distant underwater friends type. To change any of these munitions out now to nuclear ordinance would mean a return to Russia. No way ever they swap out at naval station Tartus, right there in Syria. Maybe in desperate times, after nuclear war has already started a Russian ship might rearm at a location like that but right now Jack and the Beanstalk has a better chance of being a true story than this info, wherever it comes from. And Russia doesn’t need to go nuclear first. She has supersonic antiship missiles and the U.S. doesn’t. Russia would want to see how that exchange goes down first. Russia does no doubt have some nuclear powered Northern Fleet submarines in the vicinity. I don’t know this for a fact but plane checker displayed American ASW aircraft crossing back and forth between N.Africa and Crete about ten days ago so Atlantic Command must believe it. If one of the 949A submarines are present there might be a few nuclear tipped missiles aboard among her primary armament 24 antiship missiles but again, I’d bet my remaining years they’d be used only in crazy circumstances long after all other weapons have been exhausted and failed. This “private” info borders on the dumb and dumber variety.

          • as

Yes there’s also their supersonic bombers, heavy bombers, and ICBM if they have to each have enough range and delivery time estimate.

          • Ricky Miller

You are absolutely right. Kalibr missiles are less stealthy than the KH -102 air launched missile. If Russia feels threatened enough to go nuclear that’s probably the first blade they pull out of their pocket. Unless they feel really threatened than it’s a decapitation strike followed by the North America used to be habitable mass first strike, no turning back. No quarter asked or given, you’re dead to us. We are hopefully a long way from there.

          • as

I can be sarcastic about it but they have successfully eliminated pretext for the US coalition using full forces from NATO to reduce Damascus into ruins and nuclear weaponry were much more harder to conceals than chemical weapons. Any damaged containers can send radioactivity that can be picked up by the most primitive method they can use in there.

          • S Melanson

I believe the Russian bases in Syria are quite secure and some Russian members of the Duma have called for putting nukes in Syria. Tactical nukes need to be near there targets relative to strategic nukes so no, they cannot launch from own territory unless they commit their strategic air regiments which they will not do unless facing existential threat to Russia itself.

Note US has had tac nukes at their base in Turkey – a country that experienced recently an attempted coup and has a history of civil unrest, military coups and an active and dangerous terrorist organization conducting attacks inside Turkey – PKK.

          • as

Look if you don’t understand their president statement that any nuclear weapons used against them or their immediate ally be it tactical or whatever they considered as full fledged nuclear escalation Is their declarations of total nuclear deterrence where they don’t have to shy using up all their nuclear forces which again weren’t necessary to be based off on Syrian territory.

On the contrary any evidence of these nuclear weapons is working against what they’ve worked for in Syria where they still are getting hounded and accused of CW despite even overwhelmingly lack of evidence in the false flags event.

          • S Melanson

            Good points

        • Ronald

“Under intense security protection consistent with unconventional weapons”
Cargo not necessarily nuclear, but possibly hypersonic, with conventional warheads, or any system disguised for a multitude of reasons.
We will hope that everyone stays sane in this US and Israeli pressure cooker.

          • S Melanson

I agree with you that it could be high tech/advanced systems instead of nukes – good point. Still, bringing in mass ordinance and high tech at that is an ominous development. Since I posted yesterday, things have moved fast – S-300 for example as well as no fly zone – this is being reported here at Southfront, as well as many other news outlest. Russia is throwing down the gauntlet as Netanyahoo and Liberman have made clear they will not change their policy with Syria and will continue as before and the reaction to the S-300 quite predictable – they will destroy any such installations provided to SAA. Well this makes for a real showdown and unless one side backs down, it is going to get hot in the middle east.

Also thank you for a thoughtful rebuttal to my post and look forward to more from you

You seem a bit worried here. Israeli idiot leaders know they have crossed over a line.
Bibi should be pissing in his pants right now. :)

      • S Melanson

yes, the intel i have is in aggregate compelling that things could heat up fast and go unconventional from the get go. it may calm down as the cuban missile crisis resolved but it was close. we are heading to that close it seems and i fear cooler heads on one side are missing

Cuba crisis was a set game from the beginning, as well all the alleged conflicts the west and east had during the cold war and a step towards their NWO. You seem not to take into account who ruled russia for 80 years or historical fact why is that?

    • frankly

Been wondering where you got off too. Hoping you are wrong but not betting against you.

      • S Melanson

I edited the post as I meant to qualify the part about nuclear first strike by Israel – I was referencing a report and not my opinion. However, Israel has acted irrationally and suicidal before. I also hope I am wrong.

    • Promitheas Apollonious

so you think israel will attack russia with nuclear weapons. There is no such thing as limited nuclear attack. You are wrong in your conclusion.

      • John Whitehot

one of the craziest thing i’ve read so far here, probably it’s been put there for some propaganda marketing reason.

      • S Melanson

i edited my post as i was referring to a report and not my own opinion – I find it hard to believe but do not rule it out for a number of reasons including what Concrete Mike states as to why this is not out of the question.

        • Promitheas Apollonious

ok reality check to all of us. Israel is a seating duck provided someone respond to and dont think they are immune to retaliation or even preemptive attack, sort of what they been doing in syria.

More than ten thousand missiles they hit it within the first few minutes of anything serious happening and it does not matter what israel does or its allies when the shit hit the fan. It will cease to exist within the hour of serious open conflict. The era of israels hit and runs with immunity are from the way things look behind us now.

    • John Whitehot

“limited nuclear attack on russian positions in Syria and assets in Mediterranean.”

nuclear attack against a country with 7000+ nuclear warheads and a nuclear triad.

apparently you believe that israel has gone suicidal.

      • Concrete Mike

        I dont disagree with you.

The evangelicals down south beleive that helping the nation of israel form, will usher in the second coming from jesus/rapture nonsense.

So to some misguided fool, yes they are planning to sacrifice israel.

Now these are legends and rumors, but ita crazy enough that it could be true.

Rationalism was never an israeli strongpoint either.

I hate the fuckers personally, I dont understand how a minority like that got to control the usa in plain sight, and no one batted an eye.

        • S Melanson

Your thinking is similar to mine. Thanks for explaining well why it is not out of the question. I did edit my post as I meant I was referencing a report and not my personal opinion that Israel would nuke Russia. But I can also believe it at the same time. Makes for a crazy world.

          • “I did edit my post as I meant I was referencing a report and not my personal opinion that Israel would nuke Russia. “
            —————
Please provide a link to the report.

        • John Whitehot

ya, but idk why u are speaking abt the us, i was referring to israel only

      • S Melanson

Israel has for some time been on a course that is detrimental to her survival driven by reactionary policies to events that throw wrenches into carefully laid plans. Israel continues to be swept by events that are consequences of Israeli policies based on a plan that can no longer succeed. To me this seems irrational as it is obvious to all but they seem to be blinded to this and so yes, a blind man can walk off a cliff.

        • John Whitehot

“To me this seems irrational as it is obvious to all but they seem to be blinded to this and so yes, a blind man can walk off a cliff.”

          understood.

nonetheless i’ve read similar things in regard of “Assad using chemical weapons”, irrationality et cetera.

For people who’s versed with the persons in object, elaborating on the matter isn’t difficult.

Assad is a president that is defending its country with all his forces, and you don’t need psychologist to see that he is not going to risk the destruction of Syria because of any personal ambition.

The same can’t probably be said about Bibi – he sometime displays behaviors that go far beyond rationality.
Frankly, I’ve known some crooks in my life, and he often looks and sounds like one (especially when subjected to some kind of pressure) in his boutades.

          • S Melanson

Agreed. Your take on Bibi matches mine which is worrisome – he seems like one who would sacrifice his country to feed his personal ambition.

    • Sorry. Please gives your sources for that information and if they look credible we’ll look further.
Until then – you’re another armchair general crying “End of Days.”

  • Sinbad2

The thing with Israel, is that their reputation is so bad, nobody will believe them.

  • Drogba

Israhell only lives under the satanic Talmudic laws that look upon non fake Jews as nothing better than animals, and just to be used as their slaves. This explains their murderous behaviour towards Palestinians and other people in the ME and beyond. Russia needs to enforce a strict no fly zone and stop these murderous attacks on Syrian civilian infrastructure, and work more closely with Syria in updating it’s air defences,ASAP.

  • john

We are not expecting that one day the murderous, child killing Israelis will tell the truth, are we? Plz!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Christer Larsson

what the russian should have done when the plane when down…s-400 shoot down slowly one by one.. 3 of the 4 israel f-16…and let the one f-16 that was the one that behind the russian downing to live and return to base in israel…he was probable the commander of the 4 f-16 and rest of his life every day will have on his head that his friend died becurse of him..

    • as

There’s a much higher noise at the time that happened. Probably why they could even escape.

  • potcracker2588

nada will happen because putin is part of the agenda…
a one world government with jerusalem as its capital under satanic jewish leadership..

the russian military is a different story…they are pissed, but cant do nothing as long as the fucking jew stooge is sitting in the kremlin

    • telemetrie

Well, Putin made a deal with Jews and oligarchs. That is clear. Abramovich is a good example. As long as Putin is respecting Russian oligarchs (Jews), they don’t plot to overthrow him (or at least don’t try hard) and even they give him limited support.
So Putin will NEVER punish Israel for any wrongdoing (Abramovich is Israeli citizen, btw.).
Putin is too old and childish and fixed to his political influence and position and made too many “compromises” and “deals” and “friends” in the West.

But Israel is stupid and will escalate. By the way, there were at least 3 Russian aircrafts shot down with Israeli help, SU24 (and rescue Mi8) in 2015, Su 25 and IL20 in 2018 and 5 others were destroyed on the ground in 2017.
Not mentioning countless “drone attacks” on Khmeimim airbase, all with Israeli help.

  • Davki

Russia is majorly p***ed off; that’s for a reason. Anyway, what’s that undeclared war Israel is waging against Syria? Seems like Israel is looking to escalate. Does BIbi want war? Well, we’ll see what they’ll acutally do.

    • Promitheas Apollonious

no his masters want the war because they believe are safe in america and london and he is just expendable along with the rest in that private real estate.

  • telemetrie

Who cares what Israel says? Nobody. Maybe Putin cares, because he has weak spot for western “partners” and likes talking and negotiating bullshits with them. Talking with Israel is wasting of time. They only understand force, but Putin is weak and blind and childish.

    • Promitheas Apollonious

      unlike you right?

      • telemetrie

There is only one good news about Putin and IL 20 incident. Russian military is fed up of Putin’s approach. Generals blamed Israel from the beginning. Then Israeli lapdog (Putin) came with version of “accident”. But now it seems that generals confirmed first version about deliberate wrongdoing from Israeli side.
So – weak Putin’s authority is on decline. It is a good news for Russia and bad news for West.

        • Promitheas Apollonious

if you say so it must be so. On the other hand only an ignorant brainwashed fool will come up with what you come up.

          • telemetrie

Only ignorant like Putin declare no fly zone above Lebanon one day and let Israeli jets enter it unharmed and just “escort” them out second day ( on Spetember 22nd). They could be shot down already and everything would be totally different today.

          • Promitheas Apollonious

is stupid your first or last name?

  • Val Shadowhawk

From this point forward, anything ‘israel’ says or does should be thrown out and condemned for lies. Secondly, the minute ‘israeli’ aircraft of any kind attempt to violate Syrian airspace, Russia and Syria need to immediately shoot it down, no questions or warnings. Enough is enough!

    • telemetrie

Putin forbidden Russian military to defend themselves against Israel. He is talking tough but acting weak. Israel will shot down another Russian aircraft soon. You can bet on it. Putin is mindless.

      • Brad Isherwood

This might be a real History turning point.
The Botoxed Dwarf from Moscow might be up against the Wall of Destiny.
        Israel loses. ..
How the conflict moves towards war with Iran now.
Syria’s already partitioned along lines similar to Rand Partition map.
        US has East Euphrates.

        While I’m disappointed with Putin/Lavrov,
There is still the Donbass with Huge Russian military staged just on region border,
Ready to step in and crush Poroshenko’s balls if he tries.

I’m sure the Jews are groveling, …throwing shekels on the floor to Putin,
Yet they are arrogant. ..remind him who is great.
Maybe Russia comes to a bitter break with these snakes and says Nyet* ..to them.

      • Val Shadowhawk

Oh gosh! Spare me your drivel! Pathetic minion!

  • Oh of course then – we believe Israel! How could we not?
They bomb one country to defend themselves from a third and call it – “Defending themselves!”

Israel! The truth is so precious to them they have to defend it with lies and spin.

  • Rodney Loder

Israel doesn’t sell itself in the West like it used to, if Western public perception is that Syria and it’s Allies can be bluffed into passivity then the US will fully go all out to enslave Syria using Saudi and Kurdish pox, on the other hand if the Western popular opinion is that Syria is not a pushbover they will think israel is just so not worth it.

  • Jim Bim

    Just in.
Russia will deliver S-300 to Syria in the next 2 weeks.

Israel has none credibility at all since it Exist !

Everything is built on quicksand lies and robberies for a sinister Karma on the way !

A Perfect Awful Warmongers Renegade Theocratic Country !

Worst than Crusaders and Inquisition put together, a Jump in the worst Darkest-Ages !

  • #’~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Ha ha ha, those vile ZioNazis playing the victim card again. They obviously have run out excuses that this is the only one left. But now that Russia will deliver the S300 plus its 2 other measures, there will be 1 excuse left: antisemitism. Any defence against that stinking Zionazi garbage dump is labeled antisemitism, but this time it won’t work.

  • John Whitehot

if Israel has been able to operate outside Syrian airspace so far, it’s owed to satellite guided munitions.

jamming gps systems will largely degrade this capability.

on the other side, i don’t think the zionist will wait passively for a S300 system to be deployed and used.

mossad presence in the country is likely at an all time high, not considering space based recon (including of course US one), thus

they will have to perform extraordinary security to make the deployment safe, also considering the propaganda value for Bibi’s government to go after the S300 before it’s deployed.

I’m not sure about these measures, imo once it’s been established that the Il-20 was destroyed due to israeli action (although indirect), aircraft originating from israel should be considered hostile without further consideration by the russian IADS.

but this is probably being held as a next step in case things escalate further.

  • potcracker2588

This and the S-300 for syria is a huge game changer in the middle east…absolutely huge..enormous….
    in plain words……russia checkmated israel…..
since the founding of the illegal satanic entity, its the first time that israel cannot use its air superiority any more……this will 100% lead to a huge backlash by israel against russia…..probably in ukraine
for hezbollah, this is by far beyond their wildest dreams…they all probably have a hard on right now..lol
for israel….this is definetly an existential threat….and its not if but when they strike..they have no other option..after 70 years of murder, theft, torture, lies, the time is set to free the world of these satanic jew scum of the earth, that brought only death and suffering to the people of the world.

    • Brad Isherwood

Syria is already Partitioned along lines similar to Rand Partition map.
      It’s kinda game over….already.
Iran is next….Israhell will push for US to place air defence and missile shield in Stolen East Euphrates.
History can turn on a dime.
Especially if Iran gets RIP of these shit offshore banking Mullahs and Clerics.
Becomes a People’s Army like North Vietnam.

If Palestinians in Jordan create a grassroots Insurgency,
Loads of weapons in Jordan for the taking,
      Ya….Pretty much Israel’s worst nightmare.
Pinned to the mat with Hezbollah in the North armed to the teeth. .
Even have BUK M2E to shoot down IAF Vultures.

      Israel’s party may get crashed.
      Crash the Party!

  • gustavo

Who intelligent honest people could believe these “WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION” ? Stupidity is growing exponentially in Israel.
