ISIS militants have raided the christian town of Askira in the Borno State of Nigeria, the terrorist group’s news agency Amaq claimed.
The video and photos released by ISIS show that ISIS members entered the town, burned a local church as well as seized some weapons and vehicle belonging to the army.
Amaq released a video showing ISWAP fighters inside of Askira. An FV103 can be seen and it appears to be facing little resistance. Apart from that, dozens of fighters and several vehicles storm the town. This is obviously before NAF did its job. pic.twitter.com/051FldFOY2
