ISIS Downed Syrian Jet in Deir Ezzor Province

An ISIS-linked media outlet, Amaq, announced on September 18 that the ISIS terrorist group’s fighters have downed a Syrian warplane in the province of Deir Ezzor.

According to reports, the terrorists downed the MIG-21 fighter jet. Colonel pilot Ali Hamza was reported killed in the crash.

The fighter jet was allegedly downed with 23 mm machine gun while it was conducting air raids against terrorits.

Reports about the downed Syrian jet in Deir Ezzor came amid US-led air strikes against the Syrian army in the same area.
