The Iraqi forces have successfully attacked the last ISIS stronghold in the city.
The Iraqi forces have taken control of the last stronghold of ISIS in the town of Ramadi. According to the spokesman of the forces Sabah al-Numani, the next step is to ensure that there are no fighters left in the town.
Iraqi forces advanced to the provincial government compound in Ramadi overnight and encircled the terrorists in the complex earlier on Sunday.
The number of deaths is still unknown but according to the government most civilians were evacuated before the assault.
