On September 6, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that 13 fighters of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were killed after US-led coalition warplanes targeted them by mistake on the al-Noor street in the western part of Raqqa city.
Amaq also claimed that 14 SDF fighters were killed by ISIS fighters on the al-Wadi street in the center of Raqqa city.
The SDF and the US-led collation didn’t comment on the Amaq claims yet.
However, Syrian opposition sources supported Amaq claims and said that only 2 SDF fighters were killed in the friendly fire accident on the al-Noor street.
Meanwhile, the SDF announced that tis fighters repelled an attack of ISIS in al-Amin district in the center of Raqqa city. According to the SDF, ISIS fighters were trying to free an ISIS unit that had been besieged by the SDF in al-Amin district.

The US-led coalition announced that its warplanes conducted 25 airstrikes on ISIS positions and vehicles in Raqqa city on September 6. At least 1 civilian was killed in the US-led coalition airstrikes in the last 72 hours, according to opposition sources.
