Iraq's Army Chips Away Territory Near ISIS-controlled Fallujah

The Iraqi Sefurity Forces have almost surrounded the ISIS-controlled city of Fallujah, and started to gain the ground in the area, Operations Inherent Resolve spokesperson Col. Steve Warren said during a press briefing on May 13.

“We have seen the Iraqi Security Forces begin to chip away at Fallujah,” Warren said.

Warren noted that the Iraqi forces are pressuring the ISIS-controlled city. However, they haven’t moved into Fallujah yet.
