On September 13, the Kurdish Afrin Liberation Forces (AFL) took responsibility for the attack on a Turkish military position near the town of Xezwe in northwestern Aleppo. The attack, which took place on September 12, caused a large material damage to the fortified position and reportedly injured several Turkish troops.
