In Video: Russia’s Knyaz Vladimir Nuclear Sub Test Fired Bulava Ballistic Missile For 1st Time Ever

Support SouthFront

On October 30, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Borei-class nuclear-powered submarine Knyaz Vladimir had test-fired a nuclear capable Bulava ballistic missile. This was the first ever launch of this missile by Knyaz Vladimir.

The missile was launched from the White Sea on a target in the Kura Range, located on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia’s Far East.

Knyaz Vladimir is the fourth Borei-class submarine in the Russian Navy. Three more Borei-class submarines – Yury Dolgoruky, Alexander Nevsky and Vladimir Monomakh – have already carried out test launched of Bulava missiles.

Well done

The world don’t need aggressive violent obsolete Bulava missiles to gobble more gold and landmasses for Russia.
The world need a Great America who show leadership in Space Command Photonic Future Technology Invisible Plasma Laser Energy for peace and freedom after the International Rules of Usury Order.

Welcome to the 1980s losers .

Ricky Miller

That would be the United States, whose newest ballistic missile submarines are a quarter of a century old. These new Russian Borei class submarines are quieter, deeper diving and fire missiles specifically designed to defeat ABM systems. And the missiles are MIRV equipped, which means this fleet will be able to decimate the United States after any attempt at “prompt global strike.” Hardly the 1980’s.

Ya the Kursk was a great unit EH , like the rest of the junk .

Ricky Miller

The KURSK was a great submarine, just like her seven surviving 949A sisters, all in service or refit. A torpedo failed, a result of years of mismanagement. Those weapons have all been replaced and, fyi the KURSK and her sisters are not ballistic missile submarines but in fact are cruise missile submarines. Not that anyone should expect a know nothing blowhard to actually have any real facts to back up hollow opinions.
