In Video: Houthi Fighters Advance Further In Al-Ajashir Desert In Southern Najran

A screenshot from the video

The Houthis announced on April 3 that they had secured new areas in the al-Ajashir desert on the border with Saudi Arabia’s Najran.

The Yemeni group’s media wing released a video showing Houthi fighters shelling and storming al-Shakiri, a key fortified position of Saudi-backed forces in al-Ajashir.

During the attack, the Houthis faced little to no resistance from Saudi-backed fighters, who fled the al-Shakiri position leaving behind their personal weapons.

The Yemeni group launched a limited ground operation in the al-Ajashir desert earlier this week. Vast parts of the desert, which is located east of the Albuqa border crossing, have been secured, so far.

The Houthis are apparently stepping up their attacks along the border with Saudi Arabia, once again. The Yemeni group’s fighters are likely attempting to drain Saudi-backed forces defending the border line.

Actually, the Saudi scum had accepted defeat by 2017 as I and many other commentators had posted, but their lardass Americunt masters and the Jew devils want this war to continue. Infact, all these localized conflicts have really boosted the capabilities of the Axis of Resistance. As General Sari of the Yemeni Special Forces commented in his meticulous military briefings, the Ansarallah now have captured enough Saudi weaponry to arm 3 divisions and have enough small arms to continue the fight for decades. The faggot Kushner is prodding his boyfriend MBS to continue on with the disaster. There is no way on earth the Saudis can ever recover from this as it will only get worse. Some of their tribals are already in talks with the Yemenis to end this humiliation.

dude i know the house of sadistic princes have lost were staking bets of long until they collapse.

        • Zionism = EVIL

Well, just a month ago there was an internal coup as Nayef and over 200 Saudi “royals” tried to get rid of the bastard MBS, but the Americunts and Brits along with the froggies protect him. MBS is one of the most heavily guarded cowards in the world. However, Saudi tribal structure is fraying as oil money has dried up and that is Trump is pushing Putin to back off the oil wars as it is destroying both the Saudi and the Pimpeovirus hit Americunts and high cost shale oil.

      • Lone Ranger

It will be borderline funny to see saudi royal family hanging upside down from lamp posts…

        • Zionism = EVIL

I really don’t see how the Saudi house of whores can survive, they immense economic, domestic and strategic problems now and with their deadbeat Americunt masters being chased out of the region, how long they can survive is questionable. Their emperor in Washington DC has no clothes, masks or even hand sanitizers so I don’t anyone coming to their rescue. The world balance of power is literally shifting with every sneeze in the west and the Pimpeovirus.

    • Al Balog

3 months, I bet. The Saudis will try to make a bang, but will ultimately go out in a whimper…

    • adzsiam

Really hard to predict but ‘borrowed time’, blood transfusion for a gaping wound and delaying the inevitable, all come to mind. BUT should the Houthis continue to damage or destroy KSA oil industry (if the recent news is believable) the latter will admit defeat within two years.

    • Toni Liu

They hard to defeat as long as their oil still running, if their revenue and western support got cut, they will be defeated in no time at this condition

  • lilbenavidez

Southfront has been claiming advances since last two months while the only real advance was made by The hadi gov’t forces not the houthis.

Just follow it on liveumap. This website is satire! I confirm that this articles advances are not true

This is really what happened for the last 5 years find a map detailing what took place

Half a decade and no sign of victory for Saudbarbaria and their puppet Hadi, then again I wouldn’t put much stock in jihadi supporting website rag of liveumap. So keep dreaming troll.

      • Zionism = EVIL

Most westerners are ignorant and think in spatial terms of national territories, the situation is Yemen is tribal based confederation. The Zaidi Shia for 1400 years have controlled the North East and the Red Sea coast. BTW, most of southern and eastern Yemen is barren desert rocks, like like Dhofar in Oman, where I served as young aviator, a lifetime ago. So speaking in terms of geographical boundaries is meaningless, no wonder the Arabs call it Rub el Khali (Empty Quarter).

        • BMWA1

          Interesting

        • Pave Way IV

There’s a ton of interests by everyone for all kinds of reasons in Yemen, but most foreign powers are not that interested in the land, itself. The exceptions to that are secondary interests (oil speculation, Saudi pipeline/oil terminal). The U.S./Israeli interest (and most of the Saudi/UAE interest) is in the coastlines to protect, i.e., control, the water routes and ports around Yemen. Not necessarily with occupation. A ‘friendly’ puppet like Hadi will do. Actually, any obedient puppet will do as long as they hate 1) Iran, 2) Russia and 3) China (in that order).

That coastal interest includes Socotra so U.S. intel can keep an eye on the Arabian and Indian Oceans and Red Sea with our surveillance radar. UAE and the Saudis are only our placeholder Socotra bitches at the moment. Hadi whored out Socotra to the UAE in an illegal 95-year deal – enforceable by the US, of course. We (the US) will eventually build a naval base there and completely trash the island. Our ‘secret’ Socotra radar is guarded by a Patriot system and a bunch of US Marines as of December, so CENTCOM is well into their theft/occupation scheme for Socotra. We don’t care if the UAE or Saudi Arabia collapses – the U.S. will claim the usual bullshit to justify our eternal military presence on Socotra. We’re never leaving.

          • Zionism = EVIL

That is good summation, the Americunts are now in dire straits literally and and Jew devils will want a continued conflict in Yemen as they have designs on Saudi lands near Negev when Saudis fragment and they will. Control of the Red Sea with Sudan, Egypt and Eritrea, Ethiopia (Nile Dam issue as well) and Djibouti now a Chinese as well as Americunt, French base, the situation is very complicated.

    • SnowCatzor

No that map is misleading. The Houthi’s lost ground after the initial invasion in 2015 yes, but soon a stalemate occurred. However since then Saudi attacks have constantly failed and Houthi attacks are now gradually pushing them back. You are the joke I’m afraid.

    • Pave Way IV

March 2015? Why arbitrarily pick the point that Saudi/UAE shekels and mercs showed up to save their puppet Hadi’s ass? Liveumap forgot the first year or so of the shoeless Houthis rolling over that sellout chimps worthless army. It took a total Saudi blockade of food/fuel to any Houthi-controlled ports and a CENTCOM intel-assisted bombing campaign against Houthi water and sewer infrastructure (and the ensuing cholera epidemic), and 20,000 Sudanese Janjaweed Wahhabi mercs before they could start pushing the Houthis back. But don’t let my feeble reality ruin your Liveumap fantasy. Hyuck!

Coming up with a map that dates before the war itself is laughable. You only took houthis old tribal land but what happened was entirely different. The Houthis as soon as they ousted the Hadi gov’t from Sana’a they controlled vast areas you can see the timeline of their map on Liveumap. What you are presenting us with is post-civil war conjured map

        • LR captain

even on liveumap. the houthis are gaining ground. even though it’s like 9 hill tops 12 towns and 4 cites. they are gaining ground back slowly and steadily.

the factors allowed the Saudi-led force to push the houthis back have reversed. I remember that when houthis took aden the Saudis offer cease fire. but then use mass air power to bomb taget will having ground forces from the UAE Egypt Sudan etc push the houthis back.

Now the UAE- backed southern resistance is starting to see the Saudi backed government has a threat. Egypt has pulled its forces out after it stating that the Saudis are making them to do the heavy lifting.

        • Pave Way IV

“You only took houthis old tribal land…”

OK, I see my mistake now. Those small, pre-war state-of-peace insurgencies up to March of 2015 just involved a few scattered villages on desolate Yemeni mountains – old-timer al-Houthi turf, I guess. I was confusing that Houthi-controlled area with the place where most of the 18 million Yemeni live: Aden.

Houthis are gaining mossadisis is draining ;)

  • BMWA1

Fleeing without resistance! Like the sound of that 😎 maybe Houthis need only set up audio speakers all along the front and play sound of approaching flip flops!

  • adzsiam

I’m amazed they are still using old bolt action rifles. But then again, Indian’s law enforcement still uses Enfield.

    • Lone Ranger

A quality bolt action is still a good weapon.
Many countries around the world using bolt actions as sniper rifles.
      U.S. included, for example M24 and M40.
