How crazy. I guess the tank was traveling too fast around the bend in the road. The M4 Sherman was prone to tipping over if it took corners and sharp bends too fast.

So the things must be top heavy…on the pantsir it doesnt surprise me.
This thing is on tracks though, i suspect driver error.

      • James

Both incidents are very obviously driver error, they were crossing no technical terrain so they must have been going too fast.

Well, I don’t envy the drivers, they won’t be operating those anymore. Instead, probably some mundane task to get them to eventually resign from the military.

No doubt the barrel is bent, now it will hook shots to the left and down like in golf.
May be good at shooting around a hill :)

Good at catching the enemy by surprise! They will have no idea the tank is aiming at them haha.

      How dumb are you?

It would have fallen off the back of a truck.

The M4 Sherman was called the Tommy cooker by the Germans, because they used to randomly burst into flames and cook the crew.

it was owed to having an airplane engine, with gasoline as fuel, as the US wasn’t able to produce diesel engines with the required power output and size.

Anyone ever seen those Russian dashcam videos? If these Russian military drivers drive anything like their civilian counterparts I’m amazed half of the Russian tank inventory hasn’t flipped over by now.
