Brave Russian soldier captured the Ukrainian trench full off armed servicemen alone.
Maltsev Alexander Viktorovich, born on April 26, 1975, was soldier of the assault squad of 488th Guards Motorized Rifle Simferopol Red Banner Order of Suvorov Regiment named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze.
On March 10, 2022, while performing a combat mission, he destroyed five enemy soldiers (not all of them are seen on the video) and captured two Ukrainian servicemen, one of them was wounded. Acting selflessly, Maltsev broke into the enemy trenches alone and engaged in unequal battle, performing a heroic feat when performing his military duty.
On March 13, 2022, Maltsev was killed in another battle. He died a valiant death and was posthumously presented to the title Hero of Russia.

But there are a lot of tests vs ballistic vests and they are proof even vs rifles. Perhaps the bullet hit some unprotected parts, or the body armour was not enough over the flaks? In any case, is awesome how much easy is to loss the life in a battlefield.
I had to watch the video again. That dude is a hardcore badass! A couple of notes on body armor. It comes in 4 levels and each higher level indicates what kind of bullet can be stopped by the armor. In order to stop a 7.6x39mm round (Standard AK round) you would need level 4 armor and be 50 meters away. A 7.62x39mm round will go through level 4 armor at under 50 meters. But if these guys are conscripts they probably had very low level armor like a flak jacket or level 1. Once again, great vid. That guy’s balls are so damn big they won’t be able to bury them!
Yes, there are a lot of body armour, but this was last year, perhaps they had a better equpment then? Anyway, in WWI there were already ‘antiballistic vests’ made in silk. They faced Mausers and Lee Enfield, just to say it. And they worked quite well. So i am really astonished to see those armoured men fall like apples from a tree.

At that range body armor doesn’t matter against a rifle
100% correct they are designed to ABSORB shots from RANGE and NOT FROM POINT BLANK LIKE THAT. =Z=
At close range like that NO BULLET PROOF VEST/ARMOUR is going to stop an assault rifle from killing you it would go through it like butter they are designed to ABSORB impacts from range not from point blank, and a Kalashnikov bullet at that range would go through a tree trunk no problems at all. =Z=

I am glad to hear he took a warriors death. It would have been nice for him to go home and be with family but you see him on the battlefield and you know he was born for this. This war. Protecting Russia with his life was his destiny. He died a good death.
Much better than a useless old sack of bones dying of old age with all the indignity that goes with it. He will never grow old or frail. He will live forever just as he was.
