It is tactical move to prevent the Saudi mercenary pilots from destroying the dam which supplies water to almost 3 million people. The Saudi criminal cowards were using the Ansarallah control of the dam as a justification to bomb it. There were three air raids yesterday, but luckily they all missed and after that the Ansarallah decided to move closer to the city which they will storm soon.

farbat

american special forces are on the ground also american and zionist irregular special forces aka daesh are also on the ground

farbat

the united nation is screaming murder while it defends daesh and its masters the issue is clear here and it couldnt get more obvious

farbat

this means that saudis will face the damage themselves they can prepare as much as they want but saudi will face a crushing answer

farbat

yemen will be retaken and if the saudis try to push against this reality than they will be falling

farbat

it is incredibly amazing how the united nations uses civilians as shields btw they put these camps into a zone which would be in the middle of a war for sure

farbat

all access to this city needs to be denied first of all when they want to play this game like this than they will be the besieged ones

farbat

these disgusting creatures did shell the dam and if they were in ansarullahs position they would have flooded the city these disgusting creatures and why did the united nations place so many people there in the first place they are so complicit its amazing

Garga

This is the front lines 5-6 hours ago. The heaviest clashes are at the Tal’at al-Hamra (middle of the map, north of the western road to Ma’rib) where Ansarallah managed to capture the mountain but the situation is not stabilized yet. Zour and Hamajirah (south of the mentioned road) are quiet for now.

If they succeed, There’s no other major obstacle to Ma’rib.

Another tribe from Ma’rib reached an agreement with Ansarallah. Last night there was a large explosion and great fire in the south of Al-Shahla, under Saudi/Hadi forces. It seems they lost it.

Americans offered Ansarallah that they will stop supporting Saudis if Ansarallah cut ties with Iran. Naturally they didn’t accept, saying it’s meddling in Yemen’s internal affairs and not different from the war they imposed on them. Yemen has final say about their relations with others, not any foreigner.
Did Americans really think that there are still people in the world, specially in the countries who tasted the American type of freedom and democracy who believe their word? :)

farbat

do you think the city will be taken or besieged?

Garga

If nothing extraordinary happens (meaning other parties join the war or threaten to level the city with its inhabitants, something like that), the city will be liberated intact. Ansarallah and Yemen Army intelligence freely go to the city and comeback (documenting their trips with video and pics), making deals and agreements. Yemeni drones freely fly over city and see everything they need to see. Saudis and the puppet government simply don’t have enough manpower to prevent the liberation, they even depleted AQ and ISIS to hinder liberation of Ma’rib.
Saudi genius planners started attacking Ansarallah in other parts to distract them, so far they lost in 2 of these attacks and gave more soil to Ansarallah!

Then after the liberation, the aerial bombing of the city by the cowards will start because MbS has a very fragile ego and is a sour loser, the civilians have to pay for his humiliation by their lives.
In the meantime, I hope Yemenis don’t forget our friend, MbZ and pay his city a visit.

BMWA1

Lot of detail…do you have friends in Yemen ?

Garga

I have friends from many places.
I also might be fortunate enough to have a few birdies who whisper to me things.

I’m sorry I know it’s a vague answer but I can’t get into details. Apologies.

If there is a sudden influx of Saudi forces to Ma’rib the Houthi will not take it (risk too high).

If no re-enforcements arrive, the Houthi will take Ma’rib.

Garga

They already tried that but the result wasn’t what they hoped for.
Ansarallah annihilated the first reinforcement with a single missile. 2nd and 3ed were even more disastrous because on both counts, large part of the reinforcements (STC and Islah forces) defected to Ansarallah with all their arms and equipment.

Bombing is the only realistic option for Saudis now. The only thing that may force Ansarallah to postpone the liberation is if there is a mass-murder of the city’s civilians which is certainly not beneath the Saudi regime and its backers (evident by their attempted attack on the dam).

Ahson

Garga, its time Iran infiltrates tens of thousands of its militia’s into Yemen and make a decisive move down there. Look at the coast its thousands of miles long……Kilo subs and dhows will make the job easy. With the VLCC converted tankers into specialist roles, the IRGC/ militia’s can get in and out easily. Each of those tankers can hold a thousand men in full gear and hundreds of thousands of tons of supplies.

Garga

Yemenis are capable and don’t need our manpower. We may or may not have a few advisors there advising them on some weapon systems and that’s enough for them.
Each of those people from mountain tribes are natural born warriors and can compete with our Takavars in stamina.

But I wish what you said happened for Bahrainis and Shi’as in eastern Arabia. They are the one in dire need of help under a murderous regime.

Ahson

yes, the Qatif and Bahrain operation will be like ripping the throats of the wahabbis out. It will totally end their existence. This is something I believe the Sepah must have a plan for. It’s gotta be done…….one way or another.

farbat

yemenis aka ansarullah say they wont wait for one week til they launch an offensive so its just a matter of time til we see

Arch Bungle

This is what I meant by my comment the other day regarding the dam capture – I couldn’t see what Ansar Allah could do with it.

The dam is not really useful – even controlling it simply means the burden of management would be shifted to the Houthi, which means useless overhead.

It was clear they would have to leave the dam and look for a meaningful target like the city itself.

Although, using the dam as a base would be useful …

Arch Bungle

By the way, it seems like the Hadi ‘government’ itself is being thrown under the bus by the western alliance.

What does this mean?

I think this means that the western alliance is getting ready to back another group against the Houthi and have decided the Hadi ‘government’ is “in the way” (i.e useless) … Await the emergence of an ISIS like group in Yemen …
