Houthis Target Four Saudi Airports With “Ballistic Missiles”, Saudi Patriot Systems Fail (Videos)

Donate

On March 25, the Yemeni Missiles Force, that’s allied to the Houthis, announced in an official statement that it had targeted the King Khalid international airport in the Saudi capita of Riyadh with a Burkan 2H medium-range ballistic missile.

The Abha regional airport in the southwestern province of Asir was also targeted by a Qaher 2M ballistic missile of the Yemeni Missiles Force, according to the official statement.

Additionally. the Yemeni Missiles Force shelled the airports of Najran and Jizan provinces in southern Saudi Arabia with several Bader-1 rockets. The is type of artillery rockets was first unveiled on March 22.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition announced that its air defenses had successfully intercepted a ballistic missile over the city of Riyadh.

However, a video published by locals from Riyadh showed that one of the US-made Patriot missiles, which had been launched to intercept the Houthis’ missile, had crashed in a civilian area. Saudi sources reported that several civilians were injured in the incident.

The coalition didn’t mention anything about the remaining missiles that had targeted the provinces of Asir, Jizan and Najran. However, Saudi sources reported that many air defense missiles had been launched in these provinces.

The Yemeni Missiles Force said in its official statement that the missile strike had been carried out to commemorate the third anniversary of the Saudi attack on Yemen. Earlier, the Houthis’ leader Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi promised during a televised speech that the Yemeni Missiles Force will witness significant progress this year.

    • Superfly

The joke is on the Saudi illiterate morons for getting fleeced into buying inflated US junk. The Yemeni missiles are converted SA-2 being used as SSM with boosters. Imagine if Russia or Iran targeted the dumb Saudi idiots with real missiles, it would be all over in minutes.

      • Starlight

Which is EXACTLY what the Deep State wants. Iran’s ‘missile threat’ against the jewish terror state of Israel will be the excuse used by France, UK and Russia to begin the Iran War.

        • Superfly

They have been threatening Iran for 40 years now and are impotent. If a war ever breaks out, Zionist hovels will make Ghouta look like a modern suburb. Iran is a bridge too far :)

You mean USAtan not Russia???An attack on Iran is an attack on Russia!!!! So Russia must make ready it’s hypersonic nuclear weapons, to make sure pedophiles from UK, France, Israhell and USAtan don’t gang up on the always peaceful Iran!!!

BREAKING: Slightly charred Iranian passport discovered near missile wreckage in Riyadh. What more proof does the west need? If you can get your enemy to expend a $15 million dollar missile to destroy a $100.00 drone, it looks good on you! Saudi Arabia has to be the most mismanaged country in the history of the world. They have wasted trillions and have nothing to show for it.

          • Pave Way IV

Even though they are clearly the ideological leaders and financial sponsors of all al Qaeda and ISIS terrorists, the US and rest of the west do nothing but kiss their ass. I’m guessing the billions extorted from Saudis/GCC in arms purchases (and Saudi bribes) are enough for the Coalition of Evil to cover for them.

The Saudis don’t really expect the Patriots to be of much use – they’re just the ‘cost of doing business’ with the US as compensation for the US turning a blind eye to their terrorist mills. If Saudi Arabia was just another poor Middle Eastern country, the US would have leveled it long ago and wiped Saudi Wahhabism from the face of the earth.

      • CyricRenner

Those patriots are crap. I recall the propaganda how effective they were against Saddam’s scuds. Nearly 100% interception rate was claimed. Later analysis showed it closer to zero. Given how obnoxious Turkey is becoming after capturing an abandoned city, I would let them buy the Patriots.

Helllloooo!?! Mr. Khibiny device? Is that you!?!

        • FlorianGeyer

Hello Mr Dumb Patriot, is that you ?

    • Starlight

During the first gulf war, the jewish controlled mainstream press LIED and stated the US patriot missile systems in KSA (I think) shot down almost every single missile fired by Iraq. In reality, the patriot missiles FAILED on every occasion. Much later the truth came out.

The excuse given was that the computer clocks on the anti-missile missiles, needed for ‘accurate guidance’, had failed across the many years the anti-missile missile had been stored prior to use. The truth was much simpler. Even against prehistoric ballistic missiles, America’s best was useless.

A lot of work has been done on anti-missile tech since then. In truth the USA and Russia keep all the good stuff for their own exclusive use- not hard to figure out why. There is good reason why today the Russians and Americans frequently use million dollar missiles to shoot down 1000 dollar drones. The success rate is near 100%, which generates good publicity with the hard-of-thinking.

You’ll notice that for visual effect, current patriot missiles have an inbuilt ‘firework’ effect to give the video impression they’ve done something useful. 19th century conmen would appreciate the trick.

Today, Russia’s anti-missile missile tech is the best in the world- but is mostly reserved for a nuclear war where the majority of american nukes will never reach their target. Not only are russian nukes far better than the american ones, in an exchange russia would expect 80%+ of their nukes to hit america, while far more than 80% of american nukes would be shot down or otherwise dealt with. Of course both america and russia have vastly more nuclear warheads than admitted, so don’t try to take too much comfort from this fact- and anyway both sides have species ending plague weapons as a ‘back-up’.

PS the current ‘word on the street’ seems to be that the american lead mega-blitz against Syria is back on. Tony Blair’s key lieutenant, John Bolton, is now firmly in position in Trump’s war cabinet. Blair sees his blitz on Syria to be similar to his blitz on Serbia back in the day. You may recall how pathetic Blair’s excuse was for the Serbia war- and how Blair’s lies were parroted by all the main EU leaders and america.

These missile strikes on KSA, a nation appeaser Putin supports 100%, are a clear false flag designed to drive a wedge between Iran (which supports Yemen) and Russia (which Putin forces to support KSA).

When faced with an appeaser, as is the case with the Deep State and Putin, you try to turn the screws every time the pathetic appeaser appeases.

      • Omega

It is true that the Patriot System utterly failed in the first Gulf War – such was exposed by MIT professor and defense expert, David Talbot. You claim the “Jewish MSM” lies about it but to what aim? To sell it to Israel and others?

Not sure what your point is with Nuclear ICBMs. The Patriot system isn’t designed nor cannot stop them.

As replied to you in another comment, I agree that Putin seems like an appeaser (his decades-long with Kissinger is suspicious). Whether the oligarchs of Russia supports KSA or not as you suggest is a different story.

      • Bolter10

‘No one will survive a nuclear exchange.’ – Putin.

      • CyricRenner

Russian planes must have a way to defeat the S-400 surely. You would not sell the S-400 to a country like Turkey otherwise. Sorry, but I just do not trust the turks under Erdogan. He is your friend one day, and your enemy the next. Talk about a Schizophrenic.

    • Real Anti-Racist Action

I think the US missiles came with a guaranty that they will hit or your money back. They just did not say what they will it.
They were programmed that if nothing else, find the nearest ‘next’ target to hit for a 100% success rate at destroying things or money back lol.
      Typical zionist sales pitch.

      • Ellis F

Stop complaining, it hit a Kabab shop belonging to the wife of the friend of Ben Laden’s neighbor, that’s not a miss according to ConDon

Another video showing the American Patriotard missile completely missing its target. The Yemeni missile reaches it target

    https://twitter.com/aldin_ww/status/978025807737221122

    • Starlight

During gulf war 1, every patriot missile fired missed. But at the time the american government claimed each one hit a scud.

This is an undeniable FACT, cos the US government admitted it years later- but the zionist filth trolling here hope you’ve never ever bothered to research the reality behind wartime lies. Israel’s ‘iron dome’ is just as useless. But both Russia and America have far better World War class anti-missile systems that they don’t desire to show in public.

    • Sinbad2

The Americans seem to have teams to remove embarrassing videos and pics from the web.

Shortly after the Boston bombing, there were many pics and videos of US special forces and bomb squad people at the scene before and during the bombing.
Within days all the vids and pics had disappeared. What I found troubling, was how the special forces fled the scene and did not help the injured.

      • FlorianGeyer

The US special forces in Boston must have had the same training as the White Helmets. :)

      • Bob

Saw an interview while ago – unfortunately can’t recall source – with ex-US special forces guy. Was very candid – he basically said many in US special forces have mercenary mentality. Both toward maintaining their own unit’s funding and expansion of programs as their priorities, and as individuals being recruited into dirty-operations Pentagon programs.

    • FlorianGeyer

I very much enjoyed that video :)

  • BL

There was a video showing the American Patriotard missile completely missing its target. You could clear see it aim for the incoming Yemeni missile but explode way too early. The Yemeni missile landed at its target. Someone’s doing mass censorship on twitter removing all traces of that video to avoid the embarrassment. How pathetic.

    • Starlight

Didn’t explode early. It cannot hit actual missiles, so they trigger ‘firework’ mode to impress the public on the ground. An old military trick.

  • PZIVJ

Last video shows missile doing a uturn.
Maybe wanted to return to launcher unit? LOL

    • BMWA1

      Hand of God.

This could only be topped by one of the Cruise missiles fired by the American destroyers in their attack on Syria falling harmlessly into the mediterranean a few yards after being fired. I guess they were fortunate that it did not detonate in the hold. America produces crap these days and it doesn’t how much money they spend as the rot and decay has set in and is not reversible.

  • John Whitehot

im being ironic, but perhaps the saudis should find ways to buy those repurposed R-27T the houthis used with great efficacy. At least the houthi vid shown their missile to hit the F-15. And it costs like 1000 times less than Patriots.

    • Icarus Tanović

This is clear diversion by someone. But who?

  • Dmitry Lunyov

    free advertising for S400

      • Superfly

Actually China, Turkey (NATO ally ;), Indonesia, Egypt, India and a host of countries are lining up to buy the S-400. Russia has already moved on the S-500 Prometheus, the world’s mega advanced interception system. US junk weapons are good props for Hollywood, recently the most “advanced” ECM laden Zionist F-16 was downed by a Soviet era Syrian SA-2. Not very good advertisement for inflated US junk.

  • Johnny Palomba

Houthis has just to launch empty shells, then patriots will do the job.

  • as

2 million a piece Patriot missile.

    • Pave Way IV

Saudis were suppose to purchase over 200 Patriot batteries for $1.75 billion according to the deal announced last year. Not sure how many have been sent or paid for yet. But you have to admit, the US is doing its part to fight Middle East terrorism with these things. That’s $1.75 billion the Saudi Wahhabi caliphate isn’t going to be sending to head-choppers. Well, at least the ones over there. It’s still going to the US military-industrial terrorists and arms whores over here, but we’re not allowed to fight them for some reason.

    • Starlight

Yeah, but its not like once built they are actually useful for anything REAL. So its either use them to hit 1000 dollar drones, or use them to PRETEND to shoot down ballistic missiles.

  • Smaug

Hmm, the US used patriot missiles to extreme effect in Kuwait against a heavy shower of scud missile, I’ve personally met soldiers that witnessed the efficiency of the system during that war. During the Gazan Wars the IAF effectively used the patriot and iron dome system to block over 95% of unguided missiles despite being at near point blank range…….

Clearly this is an operator error at some level.

    • BL

There was a video just minutes ago on twitter showing the Patriotard missile completely failing and missing its target but the call has gone out to completely eliminate that video from the internet. I wish I had downloaded it before the mass censorship began.

and at least one other person saw it before the mass censorship began. I’m searching for it right now, hoping it’s still out there somewhere.

        • BL

Here I found the video, it’s actually not the original video I saw which was much clearer but you can still see the miss in this one:

I can only imagine the shock in Saudi Arabia if John Bolton starts a war with Iran and Iran responds quite reasonably with thousands of missiles on Saudi Arabian assets :)

The oil price would rocket and the Saudis oil infrastructure would be in flames :)

          • Icarus Tanović

Bolton tries to act like McNamara?

The Patriot missile is trash…look at the Iraq conflict the missiles would do the same thing shown here…it would turn an AA missile into a MLRS and land of civi’s killing them…that happen alot too during the invasion of Iraq..the missile can barely even stop Saddam’s Scud-B missiles…which is why the US replaced it entirely

      • Smaug

Go read a book and join the army.

      • Starlight

Barely? it never even hit ONE scud.

Next you’ll be telling me the USA ‘accidently’ hit that shelter in Baghdad burning to death the hundreds of women and children Iraq had previously informed the USA were sheltering there each night.

    • Bobby Twoshoes

An overly complex system requires constant, competent maintenance. Yank technology is primarily about commercial objectives; all these over-priced systems are designed to break down quickly so Yanks can fleece their “allies” for parts and labour for years after the initial sale. Americans spend so much on weapons to kill that they have nothing left to build minds that can think so with regard to philosophy they are essentially prostitutes, anything they do is for money and they will do anything for money.

    • Starlight

WHAT… you do know that during that war (gulf war 1) every single patriot missile MISSED. The idiocy of some people here. At the time, for PROPAGANDA reasons, US military psy-ops lied, and the jewish press reported these lies without question (at least until one of the ‘shot down’ scuds had the ‘misfortune’ to land on a ton of US soldiers near the end of the war- then the penny started to drop with the journos).

Years later, and the military blamed faulty computer clocks on the missiles for screwing up their flight calculations. But it was just an excuse- the patriot missiles could never have hit anything.

PS make a note of the names of posters here who claim patriot was successful during gulf war 1, or the jew terrorist ‘iron dome’ works against anything other than drones or large firework ‘rockets’. They’ve just exposed themselves as zionist agents.

      • Smaug

You only deceive yourself, but I suppose that’s the idea.

    • velociraptor

  • Superfly

hahaha another EPIC Patriot failure. Even all of Saddam’s primitive SCUD-B got through the useless US JUNK.

    • Starlight

Yes, but remember at the time, the jewish BBC, CNN, NYT etc claimed otherwise. Only years later did the truth come out (and the ‘excuse’ was faulty computer clocks down to poor storage of the patriot missiles).

      • Superfly

BBC is total crock, even a US morons Congressional Accounting Office report on Patriot’s use stated that out of over 300 Patriots fired there were ZERO interceptions. Most of Iraqi Scud failures were due to inept fueling and blind targeting.

    • Vidura

lol yeah then we took their useless ”army” down in one swing ! LOL!

      • FlorianGeyer

My cats can also destroy a mouse in ‘one swing’.

      • Concrete Mike

Oh really…why are you stl stuck there 15 years later? All your good at spreading shit around.

      • CyricRenner

I think studies have shown only something like 15% of the Iraqi armed forces actually engaged in combat. What little resistance there was came from the militias. Nevertheless, the occupation was no walk in the park and if we look at Iraq today, I am not sure what the US actually “Won”, unless you count giving Iran a greater foothold in Iraq a victory.

  • Pave Way IV

The first big strike produced what seems like way too many chunks of big, burning stuff for it to be an intercepted medium-range missile. It also seems way too close and way too low – the Patriot’s radar should have seen this thing miles away. If this was at Riyadh, then the Houthi missile was certainly far enough downrange that its entire fuel load should have been consumed at this point, and Houthi missiles don’t have gigantic warheads – I wouldn’t expect that kind of firework display. This all makes me wonder if the bungling Saudi missile crews didn’t actually hit one of their own commercial aircraft by mistake in all the excitement. That would also explain why the first strike isn’t seen on the video, even though it seems to be made by someone was there intentionally filming the Patriot launches.

    https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/dd7ce0ea1d17ee75184489e32f2d02fcc72f76d7eb56df1e0f5671d91d762fb6.png

In any case, those crazy Houthi rascals have somehow caused the Saudis to SAM Riyadh, itself, with a MIM-104C. It’s Boeing Ka-band millimetre wave seeker is perfect for targets like this!
Nobody messes with the flip-flop army!

    • Pave Way IV

I wonder if one Patriot battery could even defend itself from an unexpected attack like this by another one? Maybe that ‘enhancement’ will be part of the PAC-4 upgrade.

      • as

Only if they’re plunging directly by means of ballistic trajectory into their directions that at certain range engagement it may have around 70% at most realistic optimistic estimate. Past that point or beyond that point it is 5% or lower.

        • Pave Way IV

In that case, it might be a good idea for Saudi Patriot batteries to think about pre-emptive strikes on other ones nearby. Why wait for the sneak boomerang attack?

          • FlorianGeyer

John Bolton would agree with that:)

    • Starlight

patriot missiles currently have a ‘firework’ mode they can trigger while in flight to give the IMPRESSION they’ve done something, when in reality they’ve missed yet again. This trick was learned from the jews of Israel, who big up their military ‘successes’ with simialr parlour tricks.

Outside of a real war, the military is all about the impression given to the average dumb-dumb.

      • Nexusfast123

  • Icarus Tanović

This is clear diversion by someone. But who did this?

    • Starlight

The no.1 excuse for the coming Iran War is that Iranian ballistic missiles threaten the terrorist racist state of Israel. The jewish controlled media of the West reports that the Humans of Yemen are militarily supported by Iran – so Iran gets the blame over an issue- MISSILES- the the propagandists want at the forefront of the public’s mind.

Just like how MI6 arranged a GAS false flag when it wanted Russia’s ‘use’ of GAS in Syria as an excuse to begin the massive air and missile blitz of all things Assad. Conflate two ‘similar’ things in the public mind.

Here’s a clue for the clueless. America isn’t keen on giving good stuff to regimes that are unstable- and may end up being used against US interests. If America wants good stuff in KSA, they take it there themselves and keep it under american control.

      • Nexusfast123

Keep on deluding yourself. US based use the same crap technology. The trillions that are missing from the Pentagram are due to theft and accounting errors. The idea that the US has ‘superweapons’ is a basement dwellers wet dream.

  • alejoeisabel

Russia has a defense weapon that can reverse the trajectory of a cruise missile and bomb its launch site.

    • FlorianGeyer

That would be rather fun :)

Oil rafineris and oil export ports would be a better targets…..

    • chris chuba

Good point, I wonder if the refineries are out of range or they are worried that the Saudis would go berserk and firebomb civilians.

      • velociraptor

you ae former soldier. you know exactly, this would be casus belly between usa and houthis and also between usa and iran.

  • Sinbad2

In tests, with 2 Patriot missiles fired at a target, Patriots have a 50% success rate. A successful test does not mean that the incoming missile is destroyed, but that the Patriot detonated in the vicinity of the target. The tests were carried out with the Patriot battery knowing the course of the target, and the time it would be fired.
America does not have the technical ability to produce an effective SAM.

syrians needed 13 missiles o hit 1 IL plane. and + 485 in last years, which also failed :P

      • Daniel Miller

again no since 1 S-200VE has only 6 missiles and the SADF said only 4 missiles had been fired.

        • velociraptor

i did not write s200. alltogether shot 13 missiles. and hundreds in last years without any effect.

          • Daniel Miller

….errrr only the S-200 can shoot at that range no other system in the syrian air defence force has that type of range.

          • velociraptor

these aircrafts were in syrian airspace. they bombed nearby palmyra

          • Daniel Miller

no they did not xD they did not even come close to palmyra multipule sources proof this.

  • janarddan

Hey, US made missile interceptors succeed only when those missiles are also made in US.

  • Bob

The Yemeni Republican Guard are making the Patriot Missile System look very average – it’s a very open and honest current field test for the system, against a very modest adversary, in the international public realm.
