Houthis Destroyed Saudi Army Patrol In Jizan

Houthi forces destroyed a patrol vehicle of the Saudi Army with an IED on the road of al-Jajaim base in Jizan. Houthi forces also attacked the Saudi reinforcements that came to the attack site. According to pro-Houthi sources, many Saudi soldiers were killed or wounded during the attack. (video)

Separately, Houthi fighters managed to shoot down a drone of Saudi forces in northern Sahara Midi. (video)

The Saudi Air Force continued its air campaign against tagerts in Yemen, bombing Saada, Sana’a, Ta’az and Ma’rab.

According to local sources, a child was wounded as a result of an airstrike on the Takhiyeh district of Majaz. The Saudi Air Force also bombed the Atan area in Sana’a, the Khalid camp in Ta’az, and the Mika 25 camp in Hajjah.

A Yemeni citizen was killed in the area of Manbah in Saada by a fire from the Saudi border guards, according to local sources.

British Defense Secretary, Michael Fallon, said in an interview to BBCthat the Saudi operation in Yemen is a “self-defense,” claiming that Saudi Arabia had previously suffered from several Houthi attacks. Fallon refused to confirm or deny suspending arms sales to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi warplanes used British cluster bombs against civilians, according to many human rights organizations.

    The inept Saudis have made a spectacle of themselves. Attacking the poorest Arab country, trying to starve them out with land and sea blockades, with the help of the west and Israel…and still they can’t beat them. The Yemeni have had some very effective attacks on KSA proper… killing Israeli and western ‘advisers’, along with the head of the Saudi AF, at an attack near the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The US seal team didn’t fare too well in the ‘recon’ mission, either. The Saudis should quit while they’re losing.
