On March 28, Houthi fighters captured the area of al-Ayda in the Nihm district of the central province of Saana from forces loyal to Saudi-backed President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, according to the Houthis’ media wing.

The Houthis shelled al-Ayda with artillery shells and several rockets prior to storming it. As a reasult of the fighting, many pro-Hadi fighters were reportedly killed and injured by Houthis, who also captured loads of ammunition and weapons.

Furthermore, the Yemeni al-Masirah TV reported that Houthi snipers had  killed eight fighters of pro-Hadi forces in different areas of the Nihm district on March 28.

The Houthis launched a large scale military operation against the Saudi-led coalition and pro-Hadi forces in the Nihm district earlier this month. Within days, the Houthis were able to reverse the coalition’s gains and even continued their advance and captured new positions.

So far, the Saudi-led coalition has not conducted any notable counter-offensive operations to slow down the Houthis’ advance in the Nihm district. This may mean that the coalition’s forces in thee distrcit have completely collapsed.

Further proof that Saudis can’t fight and that mercenaries are first and foremost concerned with being able to spend the money that they’ve earned, and less with earning it. And since dead people can’t spend money, in the face of strong opposition an advance to the rear always seems preferable to getting killed.

Hopefully that will increase the daily pay rate for the mercenaries to financially bankrupt the already morally bankrupt KSA.
