The number of Saudi soldiers captured by the Houthis have doubled to four soldiers within a week only. As the Houthis media wing announced previously on September 22 that Houthi fighters captured two Saudi soldiers during raids inside Saudi Arabia.

In a related development, the Yemeni News TV channel al-Masirah announced that Houthi fighters attacked the Saudi Army al-Shabakah position in Najran province. According to al-Masirah, several Saudi soldiers were killed or wounded in the attack.

Even after two years the Saud-led coalition is still incapable of securing the Saudi border with Yemen. In turn, the Houthis are still able to attack the Saudi Army inside southern Saudi Arabia on regular basis.
