The Houthi forces have presented the new Qaher M2 medium range ballistic missile, the PressTV news website reported, citing a statement, released by the Houthi forces. Reportedly, a presentation ceremony of the new missile was held on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the Qaher M2 has already successfully passed three test launches that targeted Saudi military facilities. The missile’s weight is 350 kilograms, and its range is up to 400 kilometers.
Later, a video, showing the new Qaher M2 ballistic missile, was published online.
Attacks of the alliance’s forces against Saudi troops and mercenaries are carried out in response to Riyadh’s military aggression against Yemen, launched in March 2015.
According to UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Jamie McGoldrick, at least 10,000 Yemenis have been killed and 40,000 others have been wounded in the Saudi campaign since its beginning.
