Fierce clashes erupted between various terrorist groups in the Syrian province of Idlib. According to reports, terrorists of all groups suffered heavy casualties.
Terrorists of the al-Sham Legion, Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front) and Jund al-Aqsa groups clashed in surrounding areas of the villages of Ma’arshorin and Talmans, located in the east of Ma’arat al-Nu’aman. As a result, at least nine militants were killed, while many more were wounded.
Last month, similar clashes between the Jund al-Aqsa and Ahrar al-Sham terrorist groups were also spotted in southern Idlib. As a result, scores of terrorists from the both sides lost their lives and were wounded during the fighting.
As media reported, citing unnamed sources, a number of Jund al-Aqsa members were detained by Ahrar al-Sham fighters near Saraqib, as well as a house of Ali al-Issa, one of the commanders of the Ahrar al-Sham group, was stormed by Jund al-Aqsa terrorists. As a result, the fighting between the rival terrorist groups escalated.
“In Khan Sheikhoun, Jund al-Aqsa captured Ahrar al-Sham positions and then the town,” media quoted their sources.
Meanwhile, a base of terrorists, located in the eastern side of al-Dana, was heavily bombed by the Syrian Air Force. Scores of militants lost their lives.
