Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham Threatens To attack Any Rebel Group That Complies With Safe Zones Agreement

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) issued an official statement condemning the safe zones agreement reached during the recent round of the Astana talks. The statement described it as a conspiracy against the Syrian people and the Syrian revolution.

According to the statement, the safe zones agreement – which aims to protect the civilians – achieves the interests of all parties except the Syrian people.

The HTS accused some groups of the Free Syrian Army on the Syrian-Turkish border of preparing to launch an operation against it with the support of Turkey and the United States in Idlib.

The group argued that the safe zones agreement is a trick to kill real “jihadists” and later hand over the areas to the Syrian government.

HTS described the approval of the Astana agreement as a “betrayal of God” and declared that any faction that accepts the agreement and works to implement it is considered as an infidel.

HTS made it clear that it will fight any group working to implement the safe zones agreement and all those who cooperate with such groups.

The commander of the US-backed Idlib Free Army, one of the most important allies of the HTS in Idlib, said that his faction had rejected the safe zones agreement because of the participation of Iran and the failure to include the Hama countryside in the agreement. He added that all factions of the Free Syrian Army in Idlib rejected the agreement.

Anyone notice one thing missing in this rejection?

The failure to reject it on the grounds of Assad being removed as president….

    Winning. The end is near.

Haha yea, they try to make us believe they care about Syria and its people. Fuck outta here you Saudi/erdogan backed rats! Lol

I suggest that they have had their chance now its time to include any group who is not looking for peace as a terrorist and are only prolonging this artificial war spurred on by Saudi Turkey Israel and United States.

Which it kinda is if we're honest. It does basically boil down as an attempt to allow the SAA to focus on ISIS and Al-Nusra, while leaving the regular nutters to have what they hold. For now. Because all bets are probably off once ISIS and Al-Nusra are defeated.

That’s right. And this statement shows how IS and Nusra support each other whenever possible. What I take objection to is the sham about “jihaidsts”. This is not jihad for most muslims. These people are part of the international criminal fraternity masquerading as legitimate jihadists (many are not even muslims). They are killing muslims for crissakes – and stealing, raping, taking dangerous drugs, suicide bombing civilians, killing children, bombarding civilian areas randomly, killing pow’s, and following a caricature penal system of extreme harshness. They could not run a state without the massive cash input from Gulf monarchies. Even inSaudi they put down mad dogs like this. Any country would. They are criminals with no sense of humanity. That is all.

While I agree in principle of what you’re saying I don’t think you can’t quite say that this is not Jihad. That sounds like a no true Scotsman fallacy. It may not be the original meaning, but for all intents and purposes its now become the defacto meaning. When most people think of Jihad, this is now what they think of. Including most muslims. And not that that is what they want to do themselves, but the term has been successfully annexed by these extremists.

And I don’t think it can be taken back. Just like the swastika, just an ancient symbol, is now forever tainted by the Third Reich.

Yes, muslims need to take it back if they can. The gist of what I said is that we need to start treating these guys as criminals, and forget about any religious nonsense they spew. We don’t listen to religious lunatics in our own countries, do we? We need to see through this CIA/neocon doctrine of “clash of civilisations” which is as false as was the “domino effect” doctrine in SE Asia. Behind this war is a powerful syndicate of international criminals. Any element of jihad is just confusion and wahhabi craziness.
Take for instance the seizure of Mosul. It was accomplished with highly accurate intelligence from top levels, as well as inside knowledge. US Army trained Iraqis 12 months to use the equipment but a ragtag bunch of untrained “jihadists” from the desert drive it all away like they had been born to it. It is very suspicious. It is pretty inescapable that all the leaders were trained long in advance. So any spontaneity in this false “jihad” was only ever for the ignorant.
As to the ancient symbols, even the regular hexagram was not used by the jews until about the 30’s. They used the Lion of Judah before that. Personally I think all the deliberately politicised symbols will be rehabilitated back to all humanity soon.

Yes, i think it is also a part of the greater israel plan. Make Islam as a whole look so barbaric and vile to the whole world by the use of terrorism in order to provide justification to drive them out of the middle east, and the world if possible, so that a greater israel can grow. I’m sure some of that terrorism is legit anger at US occupation and invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc, but I think the rest was staged/sponsored by TPTB in order to further these Zionist dreams. So it pretty much boils down to 2 things: getting oil and israels scheming/plotting.

Let the terrorists kill each other right? Less that SAA/Russia has to deal with is how I see it lol
