On October 25, unknown gunmen killed 15 years old Eurwat zinnia the son of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) former commander in Lebanon Jamal Zinnia “Abu Malek al-Talli”, according to Syrian opposition sources.
Eurwat was reportedly kidnaped by the gunmen who later shot and killed him, then ditched his body near Hizano village in the northern Idlib countryside.
Syrian opposition activists published a photo of Eurwat with the Saudi radical Islamic cleric Abdullah al-Muhaysini, and revealed that Eurwat joined HTS as paramedic first. Than he become a tank driver with HTS after receiving military training.

Back on Julay 31, Abu Malek al-Talli and his family – including Eurwat – and dozens of other HTS fighters were evacuated from Jurod Arsal area in eastern Lebanon, within the framework of agreement between Hezbollah and HTS.
Abu Malek al-Talli is believed to be the most wanted terrorist by the Lebanese authorities because of his role in the al-Nusra Front (now known as HTS) attack on Arsal town inside Leabnon in 2014. According to Hezbollah and the Lebanese authorities, Abu Malek al-Talli was the one who decided to execute the Lebanese Army soldiers who were kidnaped by the al-Nusra Front during its attack.
Several Hezbollah-linked activists and media outlets called on Hezbollah to assassinate al-Talli after he was evacuated to Idlib governorate in Syria. However, HTS has not accused Hezbollah or another side of killing Eurwat so far.
