Government Troops Deploy In Villages South Of Afrin To Prevent Further Turkish Advances

Donate

According to pro-government sources, Syrian government forces, mostly members of the National Defense Forces (NDF), have deployed in the villages of Bashmra, Zoq al-Kabir, Buurj al-Qas. Miyasa, Aqiba and Ziyara as well as the nearby high points south of the city of Afrin. The deployment of government troops is aimed at preventing furteer advances by the Turkish Army and its proxies in the area.

Turkish forces captured the city of Afrin from the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) on March 18. Since then, Turkish forces have made a series of limited advances south of the city expanding a buffer zone between the Turkish-occupied area and the government-held countryside of Aleppo city.

Lets hope Sultan Erdogans forces & his minions dont advance further south

    • Michał Hunicz

Further southeast, yes. But further south, why not? Erdogan said that “Manbij and Idlib next”. If Ottomans want to destroy HTS, I would be glad.

      • AJ

Try getting them to give up areas they capture though to the SAA – not likely

        • Michał Hunicz

Of course it is impossible, at least for now.

The SAA needs to liberate the remaining sliver of West Aleppo and launch new offences before the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish Observatory posts in Idlib prevent this from happening. The goal should be to reach the Aleppo-Turkish border to prevent further Neo-Ottomanism

They should take simply all yellow territory. there is an important airport.

As long as the Anglo-Zionists (Washingtonians and the Israeli migrants) exist in Palestine and in the Middle East countries for so long the Middle East countries would be not able to build any heavy military industry and nuclear power plant in their own countries to secure their own nations. These Middle East nations will be insecure all the time until the dismantle of Israel and the complete removal of Israeli migrants.

The insecurities lie within the Arab Nations wake up !!
Show me where they have been at peace with each other?

      • Rob

I have mentioned that as long as the Anglo-Zionists (Washingtonians and the Israeli migrants) exist in Palestine and in the Middle East countries, for so long the Middle East countries there will be no peace. There will be depression and anxiety and in the result they will fight with each other. This is natural if a plant cannot get water from the soil then that plant will dry and eventually that will die.

The Americans knew 100 years ago what was going to happen, and are fully complicit in the Jew’s crimes:

“it opposed the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine because it conflicted with the Balfour Declaration in respect of the civil and religious rights of non-Jewish communities in Palestine. The commission found that “Zionists looked forward to a practically complete dispossession of the present non-Jewish inhabitants of Palestine, by various forms of purchase”.[16] Nearly 90% of the Palestinian population was emphatically against the entire Zionist program.[16]

The report noted that there is a principle that the wishes of the local population must be taken into account and that there is widespread anti-Zionist feeling in Palestine and Syria, and the holy nature of the land to Christians and Moslems as well as Jews must preclude solely Jewish dominion. It also noted that Jews at that time comprised only 10% of the population of Palestine.[2]

The Commission Report was skeptical of the viability of a Jewish state in “Syria”. The logic of the Commission went along the lines that the first principle to be respected must be self-determination. It pointed out that a majority of “Syrians” were against the formation of a Jewish state. It concluded that the only way to establish a viable Jewish state would be with armed force to enforce it. This was precisely what the Commission wanted to avoid, so they dismissed the idea, saying that Zionists anticipated “a practically complete dispossession of the present non-Jewish inhabitants to Palestine, by various forms of purchase”. That said, there would be nothing wrong with Jews coming to “Israel” and simply living as Jewish Syrian citizens, but noted “nor can the erection of such a Jewish State be accomplished without the gravest trespass upon the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine”. The latter statement was based on the assumption that an army of at least 50,000 would be required to establish Jewish ownership by force.[16] In respect to the creation of a Jewish state in the Middle East, the report cautioned “Not only you as president but the American people as a whole should realize that if the American government decided to support the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine, they are committing the American people to the use of force in that area, since only by force can a Jewish state in Palestine be established or maintained.”

Mr. Putin knows each foreign criminals that have held Ukrainians hostage. Through Ukraine they want to insecure Russia. Ukraine is the part of Modern USSR which is known as Russia. Anglo-Zionists want to keep Ukraine separate from Russia but their this dream would soon become crumbled.

The Kurds are getting it handed to them in a masterfully executed cooperative effort. If they had declined the offer made by the US, they would have been in much better shape. Where are the cute Kurdish female fighters now? Still taking selfies and having girl fun? As one writer has previously stated in an article on Al-Monitor after Kirkuk was retaken in Iraq, it’s back to square one for the Kurds.

    • AJ

As much as the kurds are treacherous rats they still control eastern Syrias oil rich areas so things are not too bad for them despite losing Afrin

    • GÖKHAN 🇹🇷

I’m opposing the usage of Kurd in those sentences.

Simply because YPG/PKK doesn’t represent whole kurdish nation as well as ISIS doesn’t represent all muslims.

This is a religious fight as much as the oil fight.
Why are muslims all over the world suffering most…
      Especially sunni muslims are targetted

      • John

That is fine, you have your take on it. Fare thee well.

US has no say in East Ghouta. It’s three quarters all over, and Douma will be last pocket to fall, as Jaysh al-Islam move toward negotiating their surrender and exit. So nope, neither Nikki Haley or the US military control current events on the ground in East Ghouta.
      Bad luck, chump.

      • matew ivanson

in Douma are more fighters than in southern part, you like red army and shiite rats?, Douma fall mean usa get the fuck

        • Bob

Are all your thoughts delusional fantasies…?

    • Monte George Jr

As long as we’re on the subject of how best to spend my tax dollars, I think that Tel Aviv and other occupied areas of Palestine would be a more productive target. If we must wage war, then let’s wage war to remove the central obstacle to peace and prosperity in the middle east – Israel.

It looks like the more that the Kurds don’t turn over administration to the government, the more that they get overrun by the Turks.
