French Forces Are Ready To Strike Syria If Chemical Weapons Are Used: Chief Of Defence Staff

French forces are ready to strike Syria once again if chemical weapons are used during the upcoming battle of Idlib, France’s Chief of the Defence Staff Francois Lecointre stated on September 6.

“We are ready to strike if chemical weapons were used again,” the top military official told media. “They can be carried out at national level but it’s in our interest to do it with as many partners as possible.”

On September 5, US Defense Secretary James Mattis claimed that the Pentagon has no intelligence suggesting that the militants in Idlib are capable of staging a chemical attack.

“We have zero intelligence that shows the opposition has any chemical capability.  We — we have not seen it used in Syria.  There were some attempts, of course, by ISIS to use it in Iraq.  Those attempts were very sophomoric; basically, generally failures.  You know, a — a grenade with some kind of mustard agent in it or something, but nothing on the lines of what the White Helmets and the United Nations have seen exposed by the — the Assad regime’s violation of the chemical — the prohibition on chemical weapons.

So when we start hearing stories about this, and we have fairly good penetration of many of the opposition groups, and certainly, we have a history now of how many years of a tragic war that did not have to happen, but for Assad, did not have to happen; but for Russia’s regrettable vetoes in the United Nations, did not have to happen but for the Iranian’s support of Assad’s murders.  We have seen the repeated use in this fight by the Assad regime.

So we have made very clear that by putting out innuendo, that somehow any chemical weapon use coming up in the future could be ascribed to the opposition, well, we want to see the data.  And right now, we have data — not just American data, not just U.S. data, but international data — that the Assad regime has done this before, and we are watching very closely for this.  We cannot see anything that indicates the opposition has that capability. “

In other words, if any kind of chemical weapons provocation takes place in Idlib, the US-led bloc will carry out no investigation but will unilaterally accuse the Assad government of carrying out a chemical attack.

translation: western inferior pedophiles and psychopaths are ready to stage and murder Syrian inhabitants, the God cries.

“In October, 1964 when I was 12 years old, I was an inmate at the Kamloops school and we were visited by the Queen of England and Prince Phillip. I remember it was strange because they came by themselves, no big fanfare or nothing. But I recognized them and the school principal told us it was the Queen and we all got given new clothes and good food for the first time in months the day before she arrived.

The day the Queen got to the school, I was part of a group of kids that went on a picnic with her and her husband and some of the priests, down to a meadow near Dead Man’s Creek. I remember it was weird because we all had to bend down and kiss her foot, a white laced boot.

After awhile, I saw the Queen leave the picnic with ten children from the school, and those kids never returned. We never heard anything more about them and never met them again even when we were older. They were all from around there but they all vanished.”

    • FlorianGeyer

That does not surprise me Jan.

    • Concrete Mike

Was this school a “residential” school by any chance?

What is your nation if so?

Nothing new under the sun here. Business as usual for the Empire and its vassals.

The world community have enough proof that US and UK doing terrorism and chemical attacks through their stooges on children in Syria and in the rest of the world. They are in this illusions that nobody knows their this dirty plot. Shame.

Moreover, I surprise that who have told Syrian government to handover their chemical weapons to US and UK, why they are their cousins. Now how they will defend their nation from US and UK atrocities.

Israel the US and UK stooges producing nukes, chemical and biological weapons and ICBMs but what Syria and Iraq producing? Nothing. For them its better to leave their countries to China or Russia.

    • Jens Holm

What a joke. Last one was not even allowed so check out. And the relative sober conclusions were blocked by the Russians.

So what the F… do You expect.

No 5 armies meet in Idlib having some miliion children as white helmets. What the F…. is relevant in this.

  • FlorianGeyer

I doubt that Russia would have any inhibitions of reacting very harshly to any such French adventure.

    • Nigel Maund

One has to hope that’s true, otherwise why send 25 warships to the Eastern Mediterranean?????

      • FlorianGeyer

The French could then convey the Russian message given to them, to the US and UK :)

  • MichaH

“we have fairly good penetration of many of the opposition groups”.

Having a nice chat at the telephone befor going to bed every evening…

  • jade villaceran

Cannot attack with out their partners, lol, they really need partners before commiting a crime, typical western tactics

  • S Melanson

If it is anything like the last attempt by the French, Assad has nothing to worry about.

    • batavian

Yeah, that was funny. Missiles not releasing from wing pods, assorted mechanicals, etc.

    • Lumi

Assad: Go home French you’re drunk XD

  • Joe

Will the fools strike the terrorists if the terrorists used chemical weapons?

So stupid and childish in front of world politics

    • Concrete Mike

Ofcourse not, these terrorists are in fact our intelligence operatives. Not too intelligent being in idlib with al nusra right now, but hey there stuck there, and they will die.

  • Ricky Miller

Despite those regrettable Russian UNSC vetoes the USA still has deployed military forces in Syria. I guess what I hear General Mattis saying is that the U.S. would have done a full invasion circa Iraq or Libya if only Russia hadn’t got in the way. Thanks Russia…

    • Tommy Jensen

      Gotta love Vladimir.

    • Jens Holm

Very impressing. USA and the Coalition probatly has around 6.000 – And You not even mention a couple of 100.000 in Idlib.

USA and We actually are asked back to Syria, which is member of the coalition as well.

Libya is kind of worse. As in Syria and soon in Turkey all replacement has been reduced to nothing with almost all possible methods. People are kept stupid and also get wrong facts about almost everything. Turks have no idea of numbers and what goes on in Syria as well as in Iraq.

My own oppinion is, that Libya only is a country by hard violence from Italiens as well as Gadaffi. It shoukld be 2-3 countries as it was. Before that it was left alone by Osmans because its value was zero. And what do people fight about now – Well oil.

    • Brother Ma

America only invades countries it is sure are weaker than them. The last time Uncle Sam took on a similar power was Germany and Japan and that was because it had too!

  • zman

Mattis is so right for this administration. The lies just keep on coming. This is the guy who denies everything in Woodwards book. Trump has nothing to worry about, because he has Mattis, Haley and PompASS to assure the public the book is full of lies. I bet he feels reassured, especially after some of the ‘quotes’ that have come out. At any rate, Mattis is right about several things…”We have zero intelligence” …(true) and US military has “good penetration of many of the opposition groups, and certainly, we have a history now of how many years of war”…(also true). But he blows it when he says: “well, we want to see the data. And right now, we have data — not just
American data, not just U.S. data, but international data — that the
Assad regime has done this before”…The Russians have presented the data to the OPCW, not that they really want to see it. Then part two (we have data…) …which, of course is a big fat lie, as Russia has repeatedly asked for proof(which has never been forthcoming)…supposedly bolstered by another lie (international data).

    • Nigel Maund

      Well said and all true!!

  • Nosferatu

Russian air defense should shoot down some french aircraft and acuse them of carrying chemical weapons. Let them taste their own medicine.

    • Sinbad2

They won’t enter Syrian air space, they know the moment they enter Syria, they will be targeted.
They fire their missiles from outside Syria, then scurry away.

      • Nosferatu

Russia is capable of shooting down French aircraft even outside of Syrian airspace.

        • Sinbad2

Of course, but they won’t, because that would leave them open to western claims of aggression.
The big picture, is to show how evil the FUKUS nations are, and it is working.
Soon most of the world will turn against the US/UK and they will be the ones ostracized by the rest of the world.

          • Carne João Pasta

Nicely stated. The US/UK ought to have that privilege revoked. Give them enough rope, etc. A most beautiful strategy unfolding. Always enjoy reading your insight. Be well, brother.

  • Nigel Maund

Time for the SAA to shoot as many French Rafael’s down as possible, given the kit they have; assuming they’re reckless enough to attack. However, no one but an idiot thinks that Assad would commit a chemical attack against his own people when he’s winning hands down. The logic of what the French are saying is so devoid of common sense it stinks of pure mischievous propaganda aimed at creating a “Causus Belli” and nothing else. Identical to Hitler’s excuse to invade Poland? Also it shows how corrupt the French (and for that matter US and UK) Government really is!!

    • Ronald

When the SHTF a “stray” rocket on the LaFarge cement facility might remind France of the error of their ways.

      • Concrete Mike

Hehehe, thats a bit far from idlib…i would try and save the plant if possible, they will need the powder

        • Ronald

Your quite right, it was just an emotional outburst.
While US and UK have been in this from the beginning, French collusion I find particularly irritating considering their cover was blown by the legal action against LaFarge.

  • Sinbad2

“French forces are ready to strike Syria once again if chemical weapons

    Translation
If any of the French troops who are fighting alongside ISIS are killed, we will bomb some Syrian civilians.

    • Concrete Mike

Addendum: we will misfire 20 missile, drop 5 in the sea and go hom3 drink some wine and eat fois gras

  • Sinbad2

There must be a lot of FUKUS troops in Idlib, for them to become this rattled.

    • Concrete Mike

I agree, i hope they syria s parade them down main street idlib once its over. Wont happen though, syrians seem too classy for that.
It would send a message though, dont fuck with us.

  • Jim Bim

Will France act when the terrorists are using Chemical weapons……off course not.

  • Domenic Patrone

.. ” with as many partners as possible.”

  • Tommy Jensen

Just a threat to Russia, Syria not to bomb the US/UK/French Special Forces assisting ISIS and Al-Qaida in Idlib.
“If you bomb our forces, we bomb your forces”. Idiotic but thats West, the monkey, the Wild Wild West.

why doesn’t Syria denounce this aggresions as acts of war? and claim the right of retaliation against any agressor.. I would do that just for the record if anything else is not posible..

    • Concrete Mike

Nah, you dont want to open up another front. Not now when victory is at hand. Keep doing the same it works.

And real human beings are ready to strike French targets- including civilian targets like the ones that these French bombers would be striking- worldwide, if they again act as ISIS’s air force.

“French ready to attack if Syria using chemical weapons”

Well guess what, Macron? SonyRecords is ready to give you a contract if you turn out to be a rockstar!😉

Still does not address the question of why would Syria do a CW attack in the face of such a perilous threat? Is there any evidence that the CW attacks that have taken place helped Syria win any of their conquests? To what end, so they will be attacked by F.uk.us?

Why would they bring that down on their heads. Whereas the Terrorists have every reason to launch a CW, no reason not to! They have literally been instructed to proceed. All of the previous CW attacks have benefited the terrorists directly, quickly and demonstrably.

There seems less of an avenue for escape this time, the stakes are high. If they do launch a CW it could get ugly fast. It will certainly be no comfort to have seen it coming and helpless to stop. No matter what it’s been nice to hang out here for a while. Good luck to you all. God help the Syrians and their friends.

Perhaps Russia should use some hypersonic missiles on the frogs. Then they will finally become aware of their real importance since they were crushed forever in May 1940.
