Faylaq Al-Rahman Counter-Attacks In Jobar, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham Advances In Qalamoun

Qatari-backed Faylaq Al-Rahman announced on Thursday that it managed to push back a government assault on Jobar district in eastern Damascus. The group claimed that the SAA had assault was spearheaded by more than 10 tanks and armored bulldozers.

Faylaq Al-Rahman’s counter attack was followed by an intense sheeling the government-held Damascus neighborhoods with mortars. The group shelled the districts of Jaramana, Tijara, Abbasiyeen, Old Damascus, and Qassa’. The bombardment led to large material damages and injuries amongst civilians.

The Syrian Air Force responded carrying out airstrikes on Faylaq Al-Rahman positions and tunnels in Jobar and Ayn Tarma.

Jaish Al-Islam did not participate in the Jobar and Ayn Tarma battles as the conflict between Jaish al-Islam and Faylaq Al-Rahman seems to be much bigger than assumed by observers.

In Western Qalamoun, the Syrian Army backed by Hezbollah repelled an attack by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) fighters in Jaroud Flita destroying a vehicle and killing the 4 fighters inside it with an ATGM. The Syrian Air Force bombed HTS headquarters all across Western Qalamoun.

OK so Qatar is still misbehaving as usual. Let them suffer a bit more, these things take time. Hope Iran doesn’t go too soft on them.

      any link ?

You ask for a link–to what? I comment on the article above itself. These Rahman dudes are on Qatar’s payroll and raising bloody hell in somebody else’s country, at a time when Qatar might conceivably have a long hard think about how many enemies/km^2 it needs for itself exactly.
