On April 17, ISIS Wilayah Sinai published a new release documenting recent attacks against Egyptian government forces, tribal fighters and civilians.
The video release, titled “Epics Makers 2,” includes footage from heavy clashes between the terrorist group’s cells and the Egyptian military in different parts of the Sinai Peninsula.
In the 13-minute video release, the terrorists can be seen using a locally-made rocket pro-propelled grenades to target an M60A3 battle tank. The terrorists also target Egyptian troops with a truck-mounted heavy machine gun.
The video release also include footage of two attacks with improvised explosive devices on an Egyptian soldier and an YPR-765 PRI infantry fighting vehicle.
ISIS included old footage from the February 9 attack on pro-government tribal forces in central Sinai in the release. The terrorist group shared photos of the attack around two months ago.
As usual, the release featured a number of executions, three to be exact. A Christian elderly man from the city of Bir El-Abd and two pro-government tribal fighters. All three victims were shot in the head.
Epics Makers 2 is yet another attempt by ISIS to intimidate the locals in Sinai and exaggerate the extend of its influence in the region. Earlier this year, the terrorist group shared a similar release titled “Bleeding the Campaigns”.
