Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) has completed withdrawal of artillery of less than 100mm caliber from the contact line in Donbass.
“Artillery of less than 100mm caliber has been withdrawn in Donetsk,” DPR defense ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin said on Wednesday.
The withdrawal includes three stages:
- From the Deblatsevo direction
- From the southern direction
- From the contact line near Donetsk
Battle tanks are withdrawn first. Then it’s the turn of artillery weapons of less than 100mm caliber and mortars. The first stage of withdrawal will start in 2 days after the complete ceasefire and finish in 15 days. The second stage will take 24 days and be exercised in the “South” sector in DPR. The whole process should take a total of 41 days.
The Minsk Agreements envisage withdrawal of battle tanks, artillery weapons of less than 100mm caliber, and mortars of equal to or less than 120mm caliber to a distance of 15 kilometers from the contact line in Donbass.
