China Demands To Halt THAAD Deployment In South Korea Immediately

© U.S. Force Korea via AP

China has called for an immediate stop to the deployment of the US Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-missile system to South Korea.

“China’s position on the THAAD issue has not changed,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Geng Shuang said. “We oppose the deployment of the US missile system to South Korea and call on all parties to immediately stop this process. We are ready to take necessary measures to protect our interests.”

The spokesman didn’t say what kind of “measures” Beijing is going to implement.

The THAAD missile system is designed to intercept warheads of ballistic missiles at the end of the mid-course phase and during the approach to the target. The THAAD protects cities and facilities from ballistic missiles.

Seoul and Washington agreed on the THAAD deployment in July 2016. A pretext of the move is a nuclear missile threat from North Korea.

whoops. MsM were just saying that the US had become allied to China to the detriment of Russia..

    • Jesus

China becoming an ally of US is prepostorous, since US will try to contain China in Asia and try to reduce its influence world wide. Trying to introduce THAAD in the Korean Peninsula under the pretext of N. Korea aggression is noticed by the Chinese.
US is trying to have China do its dirty work in North Korea.

      • Pave Way IV

The day will come when China puts up the “No USD accepted here” sign in the shop window. Cheap slave labor and filthy industry in China are the economic equivalent of crack for the US consumer crack-heads. Trump will squeal and pout and make all kinds of threats about de-dollarization, but at the end of the day US politicians, bankers and business leaders have exactly one of two options: 1) pay for cheap crap in whatever currency the Chinese demand, or 2) swing by the neck from the end of a rope at the hands of rioting US consumer crack-heads desperate for a fix of slave-labor produced crap.

How long do you think America would last without iPhones? We would burn this place to the ground in a week.

        • Jesus

You are correct, China is bidding its time to strengthen militarily, they need to be able to defend their shipping lanes from the Indian Ocean to South China Sea.
Russia can do the same, asking for rubles for the gas and oil they sell to Europe.

          • John Whitehot

I reckon that actually what would make the US declare nuclear war to the world would be an economic partnership between the EU and Russia where energy products are traded in Euros.

That way, the petrodollar would probably become toilet paper, and the economies of the Gulf producers become shit.
Besides, look at the maps. The US couped Ukraine, which sits right in the middle between Russia and EU and where pipelines pass. Then forced the sanctions on EU, which is the entity that actually suffers them as for the US they mean nothing. Then starts bitching about Assad along with Turkey and Qatar, which incidentially, had been denied a pipeline through Syria which would bring Qatar’s gas to Europe trough Turkey.

What’s striking is the idiocy of EU government into accepting all the directive coming from Washington against their own interests. But of course, these people don’t govern according to their countries populations interests, they’ve been probably corrupted to the bone by Saudi and zionist bankers money.

          • Jesus

The Neocon elements in Europe and USA have a common goal in hurting Russia economically and trying to manipulate China for their own benefit.
One solution to the dilemma would be some populist political victories in various countries of Europe to break the globalist choke hold.
Syria is an important hub for denying and frustrating the Zionist plans, as well as Ukraine. Russia is working on bypassing Ukraine as a hub for their gas deliveries, therefore an unsavory alliance with Turkey is permissible.
As long as the Qatari dream remains a fantasy, and SA wastes resources on domestic needs and the Yemen war, as oil hovers around $50, the gulf monarchies are inept and useless, draining their cash reserves, since their economies are single faceted.

I see European cooperation with Russia if Le Penn wins in France, and populist wins in Netherlands, since Italy, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece are leaning in favor of having better relations with Russia.

          • Barba_Papa

Le Penn will NOT win in France, better learn to live with that. Barring a miracle there are simply more French who hate Le Penn then the establishment. And the populists did not win in the Netherlands, that election already happened a month ago. The East European countries don’t really matter, plus they like the Euros that come out of Brussels too much to really rock that boat. Only Italy might spring a surprise.

          • John Brown

Barba Pappa the populist did win in the Netherlands but the election was stolen by the empire as usual. Ay one with any brains no more believes any election result in the empire then any one would believe any Soviet Union election result.

They had referendums in the Netherlands and France to not enter the new EU with it Soviet, Zionist, constitution, the euro etc and guess what it still happened, so the referendum results were stolen like the elections are, as usual.

          • Jesus

Russia has support in Hungary, Italy, Greece, Czech, Slovakia, we will see about France, they said the same thing about Trump.

          • Solomon Krupacek

Be sure, Russia has NO support in Hungay, Czech Republic and Slovakia. In Hungary for 2 weeks are demonstrations (several 10 000s) against Russia.

In all these three countries anoly 15-18% of population like russians, 35-70% do not like/hate russians. 1956, 1968. Still remembered…

          • Jesus

Hungary, Slovakiaand Czech Republic are not thrilled about taking illegal emigrant imposed by Brussels, what happened in 1956 and 1968 were under Soviet leadership, as a Pole I can see your bias in this matter. Poland and Baltic states like to cry wolf a little too much.

          • Solomon Krupacek

My dear, in HUNGARY 75% of people want that Hu belongs to EU. So,you live in false world. The fact, that 11 countries in the EU do not want immigrants from islamic countries, will not mean, that they do not want stay in EU. and absolutely not, that they are on side of russia :DDD

otherwise, sowiet = russian ;) everybody knows. the common language was russian, ran russification of other parts, there was aonly sowiet, but nor russian communist party, while othe soviet states had own party.
so, sowiet = russian. and you can say nothing aginst this thinking of inhabitants of former socialist countrie.

i ha also to learn russian langueage. i had no choice. this was international russian terror!

          • iceman

Bolsheviks/soviets were thoroughly ANTI-russian, Lenin destroyed Russian empire, butchered the Tsar and his family, formed zillion republics on russian soil, persecuted Russian church, there were more Jews, Ukrainians and all other nationalities in Lenin’s government than Russians. Stalin was not russian, Khrushchev was not russian…..

          • Solomon Krupacek

            brezhnev was russian. ;)

          • Jesus

Staying within EU requires to acquiesce to Brussels whims, taking illegal immigrants was a key issue. I am not saying that Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic want to go back into Russian orbit, they want a balance between EU and Russia and don’t care for the sanctions.

          • Solomon Krupacek

But this is not your business. Solve your problems: AQIDS, drugs, oligarcha, corruption, emmigration, ….

          • Jesus

Why is it not my business, you like euros, you are Brussels’ slaves., and will acquiesce to them.

          • Solomon Krupacek

i am no slave, but you pay your oligarchs, muzhik ;)

          • Jesus

Poland is a slave to Brussels, I do not pay any oligarchs.

          • Solomon Krupacek

“Poland is a slave to Brussels”
            i don´t think so

“I do not pay any oligarchs”
            i don´t think so

otherwisw you are possessed with poland? always pints on it

          • John Brown

Neither Lepen nor any truly anti Zionist empire, pro freedom independent candidate can ever win an
election in France or what was once the West now the Zionist empire because
elections in the Soviet European Union and the Soviet North American Union are
not free and fair. If she somehow did manage to win even in a rigged system she
would be killed. It is better is she loses by as close a margin as possible say
            50.1 to 49.9%.

Brexit was a miracle and will never happen anyway, its fixed. the Brexit
referendum was fixed but the pollsters underestimated the leave side and did
not rig the election enough. Brexit was fixed but the leave side probably won
by more than 20% to get the 52% to 48% result. If it was a fair referendum it
would have been like 80% plus to leave as Britain has what a yearly 80 billion
or more yearly trade deficit with the EU just for starters. It’s a no brainer
that being in the EU is a really bad deal for the UK.

          • Jesus

That seems to be the common understanding among many, however, I base my views of the future in conjunction with biblical prophecies.

          • John Brown

Yes I agree Jesus both Russia and China are doing this playing for
time as every day the Zionist global slave empire gets weaker and more corrupt while Russia and China both get militarily and economically stronger and both trends, Russian and Chinese strengthening and the racist supremacist Zionist global empire’s weakening are accelerating .

The Zionist empire can collapse at any time but one can never
know the day as it was for the Soviet Union we only know the collapse is coming

          • Jesus

The Zionist empire is led by delusional people, overly confident, cocky and removed from reality. Currently, they fail to grasp their military capabilities are overrated, their new weapon systems are overly reliant on technology and succeptible to EW disruptions, very expensive and not reliable. US cannot afford a meaningful rearmament program because of its ballooning debt, even if they had the money, they would produce junk.

        • John Whitehot

          xD well said

    • MikeH

I can’t imagine a thoughtful world leader being impressed with after dinner killings for entertainment. Maybe this is how the West is today but I can’t imagine the Chinese thinking well of the missiles or the THAAD deployment.

      • Jesus

That was a timed Trump bravado move to make a strong impression on Xi, and throw a bone to the neocons.

        • MikeH

If by “strong impression” you mean to make PDJT look like an unstable, warmongering lunatic then I would have to say “mission accomplished”.

          • Jesus

Trump is not an unstable warmongering lunatic, he is a business man that uses every mean available to intimidate his opponent.

          • MikeH

Sorry. You’re wrong. Murdering based on AQ terrorists’ uninvestigated claims to impress or intimidate your dinner guest is EXACTLY what warmongering lunatics do.

          • Jesus

Instead of going back and forth, wait and see what events unfold. I am not defending Trump, I am presenting an analysis of his persona.

          • MikeH

The events that cause me to say what I say have already happened.

          • Jesus

Why don’t you wait and see how things unfold in the future.

          • grumpy_carpenter

I had a 35 year career as a contractor in commercial construction. I worked on bids and proposals for businesses and developers every day. If that display is part of his negotiating tactic then the USA is going to lose every time. The bare costs of completing a project are the same regardless who you are bidding for. Once an estimate is completed and slept over but before you fill in the bottom line you consider risk. One of those risks is dealing with assholes. No one wants to deal with an asshole…..you want to deal with stable consistent partners who pay what the owe on time as per the deal you agreed on. The bigger the asshole, the greater the risk…..the greater the risk, the more money you want to make putting up with them worthwhile.

It’s not that an intimidating position won’t get you bids it just the best contractors, the contractors that are always busy, either won’t work for you or want substantially more money to put up with you.

Do you think Xi left that dinner meeting excited about having the USA as a partner or was immediately on the phone to Russia comparing notes and figuring out a strategy to deal with a beligerant asshole?

          • Jesus

There are a lot of people like Trump that get ahead by stealing from people that work for them. These types are lawyered up to the max, so if they take them to court they will spend a lot of money in the court system without much success.
Politically speaking this happpens as well, instead of lawyers you have armed forces that deter any retribution from peon countries.
Xi was not amused by the drama, this reinforced his understanding to Trump is, a bully ready to intimidate and run over you if you allow him.

          • Well put, mate…

    • sagbotgamot

China has never been and will never be US ally except in trade and business relationship. If worse come to worst, China can always stop their business relationship. Both Russia and China being neighbors can well understand the vision of Vladimir Lenin. US understand only John McCain.

  • John Brown

Time for some really tough big time Chinese and Russian economic sanctions against Korea if they don’t kick those THAAD missiles out of Korea. Use the Zionist empires own weapons against it. China and Russia together can probably put South Korea into a deep depression with tough sanctions. Its all a false flag crisis North Korea already offered a deal to the USA last month, no more nuclear or missile tests, if there are no more war games in south Korea. If the Zionists won’t take this deal Russia and China should give great trade deals to North Korea and hep them build up their military.

      John Brown
“…really tough big time Chinese and Russian economic sanctions against Korea…”

The Neoconservatives have both Russia and China by the short and curlies.

The reality is Russia will do nothing as it is interested in selling oil and gas to S Korea.

Russia also wants friendship with N Korea in order to run a oil and gas pipeline from Russia through NK into SK.

China needs the US as it is China’s largest export market and 100 Million plus Chinese jobs depend on the US market.

  • Real Anti-Racist Action

Nobody better mess with China. The world fears the Chinese and so does the animal kingdom.
After they purged 127,000,000 of their own people for Marxism, the world know the Chinese show no mercy. The world has proof as well.
