Breaking: US, UK and France launch airstrikes on Syria (Videos)

Donate

On April 14, the US, the UK and France launched a large scale missile strike against several positions of the Damascus government in the Syrian capital, Damascus and other unspecified areas.

The US Army and Syrian sources confirmed that all the targets that were hit are facilities of the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC).

According to Syrian pro-government activists, most of the targets were located in the districts of al-Kiswah and Barazah inside Damascus city. Other positions like al-Qutifah missile base and Dumayr airbase were also hit.

The Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV said that the Syrian Arab Air Defense Forces (SyAAD) were able to shot down more than 13 missiles over Damascus city.

A preliminary list of the US-led strike targets looks this way:

  1. Som targets near the Damascus International Airport (Damascus)
  2. Mezzeh military airbase (Damascus)
  3. Targets near Al-Kiswah (Damascus countryside)
  4. Republican Guard Brigade 105 base (Damascus)
  5. Jabal Qasiun air defense base (Damascus)
  6. Two scientific research facilities (Damascus and Damascus countryside)
  7. Military sites near Al-Rahiba (Eastern Al-Qalamoun)
  8. Targets close to Lake Qattineh (Homs coutnryside)
  9. Dhanha warehouses (Homs countryside)
  10. Khalkhala Airport in Suweida
  11. An alleged Iranian facility in Azra (Daraa)

      • Zarathustra

        What’s your fucking problem?

      • Real Anti-Racist Action

I do not think Zarathustra was saying they desire this attack, but simply warning how the Zionist-west operates.
They probably wanted to see how many out of 60 missiles could hit targets inside of Syria.
If successful, Israel and the UK-Empire and the US may launch a second larger attack for regime change inside of Syria in a week or so.
I think that is all that was implied.

    • PZIVJ

Sorry, looks like Trump is impotent and yellow clown like 1 year ago. :DDD

    Where’s Putin?

    • Real Anti-Racist Action

In Bunker in Moscow. I got word that Mossad and MI6 are debating regime change inside of Russia.
They are contacting their agents inside of Russia, and tossing around ideas on how to implement street protest and possibly assassinate Putin in the coming weeks.

Russia and Syrian anti-air missiles have failed to defend.
Russian anti-air systems destroyed 0 enemy aircraft and Russia has sunk 0 enemy ships.
Russians retreating, Putin in bunker in Moscow, Mossad debating if to assassinate Putin within the coming days and launch regime change inside of Russia.

    • Ivan Freely

You better hope to God Putin isn’t assassinated. No bunker is going to save your ass!

      • Real Anti-Racist Action

Actually, lots and lots of Russians including Generals would like a try at being president of Russia. To many greedy Zionist inside of Russia to care about a war. They want money and power. They want their turn to be top dog.

          More rubbish!

Syrians are claiming 13 missiles were taken down but who knows the truth its too early to say
Not surprised Russia did nothing if they were not the targets

    • Bird of Prey

It was a limited attack, just a spanking to remind Assad not to use chemical WMDs against his people. Pretty sure that Putin, who has seen Russia become very isolated, will tell Assad to cut it out.

      • HighLord Gaz

Are you fucking stupid? The Syrian gov did NOT use CW!!! Its CLEARLY a false flag event staged by Wahabbi terror gangs…

      • jj

You are falling for these staged hoaxes. They are made to serve as a pretext for a planned or wanted bombing by the U.S. Assad and his army were winning against the U.S.-backed rebels/terrorists, so the U.S. has to do something like this to give its terrorist tools a break and allow them to regroup.

      • Real Anti-Racist Action

Stating that no US aircraft were shot down makes me a propagandists?
If any evidence that any were shot down I would revise my news update.
On Russia’s word alone without evidence I would correct anything.
Russia does not claim to have shot any aircraft down, and the US has lost none.
So I stated that 0 aircraft were lost, and no ships sunk.
        I call that being truthful.

        • 888mladen .

Look I don’t take pleasure in what’s happening. It is sad reality that there is no earthly power able to stand against the “woman riding on the beast”. Pusin lost this war on many fronts: Serbia, Libya, Donbas and now SY. The next will be IR.

What a joke. Natanhayu and Putin are buddies. The Russians allow Israel to bomb Syria whenever they want. Why would the Mossad want to assassinate Putin?

Looks like a repeat of the attack last April 2017, just for show, on empty fields, empty buildings and empty air fields with maybe some rusted out jets and wrecked cars etc. to allow the empire to save face. We will know more by tomorrow.

    • Starlight

Er- NO! The admitted list of yank targets were widespread and focused on TESTING Putin- but america hit far more targets than it admitted. A classic probing action- with a FRACTION of the targets matching the CW claim, just so fools can tell themselves all is OK with the world.

Trump wanted something now while the invasion force is being assembled. Bolton wanted PROOF of Putin’s craven cowardice to present to military doubters in the US, UK and French command.

But our usual fools, having been proven so very wrong once again, will spin in every possible way- to try to make out that being wrong is somehow the same as being right.

      • PZIVJ

Yellow clown is afraid of Russia.
That’s why strikes are sooooo limited.
Your words have no meaning. :D

        • Zionism = EVIL

50 dud missiles were fired at farmland of eastern Damascus and 44 were shot down. Plenty of social media videos confirming the interceptions. The idiot Trump and his two UK-French poodles look more stupid. Not a single US or NATO aircraft came close to Syrian airspace as all missiles were fired from the Mediterranean. Syria now needs to declare all its airspace NO FLY ZONE for all illegal NATO planes,

          • Starlight

Britain illegally entered Syrian airspace and bombed Syria. Britain gave Putin advanced warning under the hotline rule used to control the airspace and avoid accidental contact between Russian and NATO power jets- confirmed by both the Kremlin and Washington. US bombers flew over Syria. Is our side REALLY going to lie to itself to make itself feel better?

          • Zionism = EVIL

Also no S-400 were used as pre-arranged. This is just a stunt to save face. Makes Russia look weak and clumsy though.

          • ilme

The 2nd sentence ist western thinking. Russians and many other cultures see it exactly opposite. So while the US, UK and French presidents think they saved their credibility it actually shows their weakness.
They were too weak to either stand down or make a full scale attack as announced, they rather spend weapons worth millions to achieve nothing than bringing up the strength explaining reality to their people.
Russia, Syria, Iran and I guess the half of the world again realised how weak they actually are.

This was expected as no one wants a WWIII except some members of a certain (((tribe))).

        • wwinsti

No quite, for it also establishes precedence, and if it’s one thing a narrativist loves, it’s precedence. Power comes through the belief in such a power by those who aquiece to such power. The narrative is supreme among the elite of the Anglo-zionist empire. China knows that Russians couldn’t stop the missiles in March 2017. Kazakhstan knows Russia let the F-18 that shot down the su22 in June of 2017 fly right back to its meditaranian carrier. The Syrians know that their was no penalty for the *accidental* killing of 100 Syrians in Deir Ezzor in Dept of 16. And now every partner that Putin approaches about defense issues knows that Russia can be sweet talked into allowing hundreds of Russians get mowed down near the Euphrates.

          • Ma_Laoshi

Unfortunately, Russian ignorance about how the modern media environment works is not limited to the Kremlin. You’re preaching to ears that will not hear. All this dissembling about “restraint” and being “nonprovocative” would be fine for peacetime; at this dire hour, it betrays complete denial that Russia is at war.

Putin is finished now. Unless he’s replaced soon, Russia is finished too as a sovereign country. Will the Russian military stand for that?

          • 1691

You should know that there is a big difference between being literate and intelligent.

          • Alpha&Omega

Unfortunately this is exactly how it is. It’s sad to see so many otherwise wise commentators on this forum failing to understand these simple facts.

          • wwinsti

I’m not quite ready to give up on Putin yet, but if they aren’t as media savvy as we are in the states, Russians should at least see history repeating itself. The spread of Nazi influence before Checkloslovakia was alarming to all the ww1 powers b and yet they were paralyzed to do anything besides threaten. The very act of threatening without consequences only made Germany more prepared for war when the fighting did come.
We see the same thing in Syria, Russians flaunt weapons that are rather impressive, but reward an attacker with no consequences when they are bypassed. Again, I know it takes time to get people into shelters and what not, the Russian response need not be instant. Still, if too much time passes any response will look ham fisted, bitter and revenge driven rather than just. In 2017, the US gave Russia an hour warning before launching a missile strike on the Syrian airbase. Israel too would provide a heads up to the Russians before attacking.tonight and a couple of weeks ago, neither the Israelis more the US gave any warning of their respective strikes.

            Something has changed.

          • Ma_Laoshi

Yes, the Russkies love to show off their toys. Then Russia Insider and outfits like it write triumphalist garbage about Yankees wetting their pants, while the facts before us show that Russian deterrence has evaporated completely.

Anyway, when Russia’s mortal enemies show up to buy some of the toys, the Kremlin critters get intoxicated by the smell of money and convince themselves they’ve got a good thing going. Would be a pity to upset the apple cart by making a stand, even in a war for Russia’s very survival as a sovereign country.

      • John Brown

Er your stupid. how can you believe anything the USS of AIPAC says, weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, in Syria, Gulf of Tonkin, remember the Maine etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. We will know in a couple of days.

The Russian Defense Ministry has commented on a joint US, British and French missile strike on Syria, which took place on the day, when the OPCW experts are set to start a probe into allegations of a chemical attack in Douma, a
claim denounced by Damascus as a provocation.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated that most missiles launched by the
Western states on Syria had been downed by the Arab Republic’s air
            defenses, when approaching targets.

“The Syrian air defense system has been conducting an anti-air fight,” the ministry added.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Syria repelled the Western
attack by air defense complexes made in the USSR over 30 years ago.

“Syrian means of air defense: S-125, S-200 air defense systems, Buk and Kvadrat were used in the repelling the missile strike.”

          • Bob

US and their British and French NATO poodles had to launch missiles before the OPCW findings began and any legitimate doubts over the White Helmet based gas allegations in Douma set in – so NATO launched missile barrage during the very last window of opportunity before that transpired. Quite an act of NATO desperation really.

          • 888mladen .

            That’s pure lawlessness.

          • Ma_Laoshi

Laws are a peacetime concept. The longer Russia continues to be in denial that it is *at war*, they less they’ll have left when they finally wake up–if ever.

This single event US missile tantrum will have zero impact on the ongoing Syrian-Iranian-Russian prosecution and course of the Syrian war. Syria-Iran-Russia are winning the war and this won’t change anything. Nil.

Russia’s air defenses haven’t been used to repell the missile strike
on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, the military said.

“None of cruise missiles launched by the US
and its allies did not enter the zone of responsibility of the Russian
air defenses, covering objects in Tartus [naval facility] and Hmeymim
[airbase located in the Latakia province],” the Russian Defense Ministry
          explained.

Actually the US just fired missiles at Damascus city in Syria, a war torn third world country that represents no threat to the US mainland – and US missiles will have invariably killed Syrian civilians in the process – that is US state terrorism.

          • 888mladen .

“US missiles will have invariably killed Syrian civilians in the process”. And it doesn’t make any difference as you have written, does it? Who is supposed to care about SY casualties RU or US who savagely attacked it without any provocation.?

          • JEWISH TERRORISM, NOT American. most of tjt people i know are agsinst every one of these wars.

          • Merijn

Perhaps all those American people could go to the American government and tell them to get their troops out of other countries….isn’t that a good idea? Because other people are getting a bit tired of getting killed by American soldiers…it’s not the American People…it is the American People doing Nothing…..Just make sure Trump is getting out of Syria…that sounds reasonable…perhaps the American Government listens better to American People…because they Don’t listen to the rest of the World…and besides that it is American Tax Dollar$ that makes it all possible….so you all finance those wars

          • U R a genius-anti-war marches-tax protesting (not paying taxes) -calling representatives-now why didn’t WE think Of those things? Ignoring people, slandering them, jailing them, and killing them is the usual result of such actions but the government is honorable now and not puppets of the Joos? Hmmmm….. maybe the solution is more complex than your brain can comprehend-the govt does not represent us-does not listen to us-they poison our food water and air but hey maybe they will turn from being demons and be righteous…………then again……..

Earlier, a local security source said that at least 6 civilians
have been injured as a result of a missile strike on a military depot
to the west of Homs. Also, SANA agency reported that at least three
civilians were injured as a result of the western states’ strike on a
          Syrian military facility in Homs.
The broadcaster also refuted reports about nine targets, which were allegedly hit by the Western strikes.

While Damascus has not made any official statements on the total scale of the damages or casualties as a result of West’s strikes yet, the Syrian state-run SANA news agency reported that missile strikes carried out by the UK, France and Britain on a research center in Damascus had only caused material damage.

“Several missiles of the three countries [the US, the UK and France], which struck a research facility have only caused material damage to a building, which includes an educational center and scientific labs,” SANA reported.

Sneak attack by America and their bitch poodles …May and Macron. I had not noticed the similarities of their names before, probably same litter by different daddy!

        • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Most of those missiles were intercepted 73- 95 not sure how many were fired 103 possibly all with no real impact, now who is embarrassed? Think the Tripartie Terrorist Fag hags were and why so many in NATO and GCC refused to help them. Cry to your momma bully boy or do you need another smackdown!!

          • Ma_Laoshi

What does it matter, the strike didn’t pursue a conventional military goal, just like the “gas attack” was not a conventional atrocity. They got Putin to bend over, and desert his loyal allies. In this, they were successful.

          • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

What is being overlooked and glad you reinforced an intuitive assumption of mine that Russia did this a way to both humiliate and fluster the Cabal of Evil by allowing the Syrians to defeat the missiles themselves. This has boosted the confidence and defiance in Syrians and as the more I look into this may have more of a rallying cry to Syria than the west is willing to letting on. Just we have to remember Russia is a master of manipulation in comparison than the Cabal of Evil can ever imagine to be.

This may show to the weaker Arab Nations under the Foot of the US and western boots that there is a way to defy them. Look at it from there perspective as you will see how they control and lead the narrative without actually manipulating the situation overtly.

          • Ma_Laoshi

Interesting point. Then again, by failing as usual to exact any price from the aggressor, the Syrians will very much need this skill to defend themselves in future. Maybe as soon as the Truman strike group (ehmm sorry, “peace group”) comes in range.

          • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

All that tracking , jamming and shooting was done by Syrian AAD they are better trained with the equipment and familiarized with it and new AAD should be coming along with those S-300s promised. USS Truman Group will be dealing with more Russian ships and armed fighters with anti ship missiles. The “Piece Group” just might be that and is the US willing to go that far to force Syrian people to capitulate and let them be ruled by CorpoRats from the West. This will just ignite that civil war the US is so worried about back home. We see many governments are already seeing backlashes for their participation , let the games begin!

Can you tell how is Trump different from Bill Clinton? Both are sexual maniacs and psychopaths who have been blackmailed by shadow government into bombing sovereign countries without mandate from UNSC in blatant violation of INT law. By supporting their crimes with you comment you humiliated yourself making a public disgrace of yourself.

    • wwinsti

I wonder how many more “face saving” operations Syria will have to endure?

      • Zionism = EVIL

This one was even more of dud and gave the SAA an opportunity to test the Pantsir S1 and it passed with flying colors. Dr. Assad is having the last laugh as usual. Russia and Iran will only cement their alliance and beef up presence in Syria and make the US bleed. This is very expensive for a bankrupt US as its supply lines are extended and every idiotic stunt drains its debt ridden economy. The idiots Trump and Bolton should invest in a map instead to see how easy it is for Russia and Iran to pour forces into Syria.

        • wwinsti

Actually, if the US stands down, Iran will demand the bombers be removed because of the Iranian Constitution. They’re only good for smashing US ships in the gulf anyway.

          • Zionism = EVIL

Or bombing the US terrorist training camps in eastern Euphrates valley. I think SAA will launch an offensive to liberate the oil fields soon. Russian RORO ships are bringing in a lot of amphibian and bridging equipment. However, this time the SAA and its allies must be protected by a SAM umbrella like the Egyptians had in crossing the Suez in 1973. Pansir, BUK and S-400 should be moved to Dier Azzor and Iranians supplied with SU-35 and S-400 too.

    • Joe

Like I said before such strikes are just good for show but will hardly degrade the military capabilities. Waste of money

    • Melotte 22

it is still another slap in Russia’s face.

      • Alpha&Omega

Yes, unfortunately it is. Or more correctly, it’s many slaps in the face of someone bullied into submission.

    • TheDude

      Empty? LOL. Several casualties reported.

      • Alpha&Omega

        “LOL. Several casualties reported.”

Laughing at casualties, especially when it hits those fighting the worst terrorists this world ever seen, is pure evil. It also reveals you, hasbara troll.

One day humanity will had enough of your kind.

    • 888mladen .

We are still waiting on RU response. It looks like it will be of diplomatic nature rather than military one. “See, you trust in the staff of this broken reed, on Egypt (RU); where on if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh (Pusin) king of Egypt (RU) to all that trust in him.” Iz 36:6

  • RichardD

I wonder if this will affect the chemical weapons investigation?

“As of now, it appears the U.S.’ primary targets were the West Ghouta (Kesweh, Jamraya) and the eastern Qalamoun bases.”

    – US Coalition attack on Syria appears to be over –

    https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/us-coalition-attack-on-syria-appears-to-be-over/

    • Nigel Maund

The US and NATO will target the site of the so called chemical attack to wipe out the evidence it was carried out by their operatives!

BREAKING NEWS- are you effing kidding me. While every REAL civilian run outlet on the net covered this in real-time- Southfront, a kremlin funded outlet that PRETENDS to be ‘civilian’ , in reality has full-time salaried staff who work fixed hours. Note when this site STOPS getting new ‘headlines’ each day- bit of a clue there.

I have no problem with assets on our side being russian funded. I do have an issue with the sickening incompetence shown by Southfront tonite. Not one member of the salaried staff wanted to work “out of hours”- and now this site has to PANIC and bang up an ages late headline in its PRETENCE to be run in a way it most certainly is not. Shame on you Southfront- shame.

    • HighLord Gaz

      fuck off troll dickhead

    • Marcos Edder

WTF? so everyone who disagrees with your imperialism is a kremlin troll or site? did you even hear yourself? …

    • 1691

I understand your frustration. You can either give up the payment for your modest contribution here or shut up. You won’t be missed.

  • Floyd Hazzard

Russia begged for that. Appeasement does not work.

    • Sexy Sue

Russia is a poor country with few friends. Even China rejected its pathetic efforts at the UN. Russia had no choice.

      • HighLord Gaz

Interesting handle and avatar, given you’re a 46 yo male, grossly obese with a prostate the size of an apple and a bulging colostomy bag that needs an urgent change….

You should also consider having a shower once in a while…

        • Oscar Silva Martinez

          That was funny LOL!!!!

  • as

Now it’s Russian call. Or would they fold ? Anyway keep calm and observe the situation. If they did targets important and significant military targets then they means business and they’ll be more bold to do the same thing again. If they hit insignificant and unimportant sites then it’s again face saving.

    • Starlight

Russia’s on the ropes, the Deep State has just slammed Putin in the gut with an almighty jab. What comes next is NOT a recovery by Putin, but more rapid blows by the Deep State. You NEVER give a sucker an even break.

Russia is about to have their usual drunken bast–d cry at the UN (after he gropes Nikki Haley once again no doubt). That’s going to be the extent of Russia’s response.

    • HighLord Gaz

If Russian assets were not hit, their will be no response against US forces.

The Russians are not stupid. They will not give the Neocon warmonger cunts any real ammo to whip up war frenzy in home-town Buttfukistan USA. Pin prick tomahawks hitting inconsequential targets is not an excuse to throw away hard won gains and give the US neocons an opportunity for more serious skullduggery.

      • as

Yes my thoughts as well. Syrian Army would just get strengthened from now on and i think they’ll have their own chances to retaliate eventually.

  • Douglas Houck

This is Option One, the PR stunt, not much different than the last one. It’s almost as if everybody got together before hand and agreed on the targets. Hopefully, few if any persons are killed. It’s a “one shot” deal, and President Trump is still saying he does not intend to stay in Syria for long.

This is insanity. How/why do “world leaders” do this? If anyone actually believed that President al-Assad gasses a few of his own people for no good reason, why would you send some missiles, illegally, to send some “strong message”. It’s normally considered an act of war, requiring Congressional action before hand. This is not in defense of the US. It makes absolutely no sense. Where is the strategic/tactical reasons for any of this? Insanity.

    • RichardD

That’s because they didn’t want a response from the Russians.

      • Douglas Houck

Obviously, which is why it is Option One. Anything else would have escalated too fast, too far. Which means, nobody really believes any of this, it’s just for show. All the jets had been moved, all the “chemical manufacturing” sites had been destroyed by the OPCW years ago. What an insane world. Maybe it was as the Turkish government said, “mostly for domestic consumption”, and The Donald wanted some cover before he fires the Assistant FBI director.

    • Starlight

NO- it’s a probing action designed to PROVE to worry-worts at the UK US and French military command that Putin really IS a paper tiger. Mission achieved yet again by the Deep State.

      • RichardD

        Yawn

      • Ricky Miller

For once I’m inclined to agree with you. Vladimir Putin did nothing tonight. Now, they may have been successful at blunting the size of the strike by posturing but to allow this strike, including with manned aircraft, will just embolden the Washington nuts. And calls into question Putin’s claim to fame. That he’s tough and has made Russia strong and respected again. If I’m a Russian voter I’m going to begin to question that. For adversaries to lie about and attack a client state, with your premier air assets quiet, with them assuming you’d do nothing, is evidence that Russia is not respected by them. At least Libya fought back. At least Milosevic fought before surrendering. The Taliban fight against long odds, whatever we think of them. Syrian Air Defense soldiers used their outdated technology and stood their ground. They tried to fight back. Russia. Did. Nothing.

        • jj

Actually the Libyan air force and anti-aircraft defense did NOT fight back. That was the word of a U.S. pilot involved in the bombing. He was surprised. He’d been involved in bombing Serbia, and noted the difference between Serbian anti-aircraft defense being heavily employed but next-to-nothing in Libya.
I guess Libya had pretty much given up on that front. They did intensely fight the western-backed rebels for several months before that, but when the U.S. and a couple other countries bombed it, Libya essentially didn’t use its air defense.

          • Real Anti-Racist Action

Not only that, but the Libyan army captured a number of SAS remember that?
But then they gave the SAS back to the UK-Empire and kept their copter.
They should have hung the SAS invaders as terrorist.
A few days ago the SAA captured SAS troops, in was in the news.
But I have not heard what happened to them?
            Probably given back.
Once SAS troops are hung, then the UK-Empire looses their regime changing experts.

          • jj

It seems the best way to handle the foreign spies is to have them killed but make it look/seem like an accident…like make it seem they didn’t realize the building was holding spooks (even though they knew it) and bombed it – or came in guns blazing, acting as if they were just thinking they were ordinary rebels. Oopsy! Not!

      • 888mladen .

Not “deep state” but “shadow government” You need to find what’s the difference between those two.

    • Rabih Saad

Good questions. Keep asking and sharing!

    • Alpha&Omega

It generated at least some need to replenish the US missile stocks. Small profit is always better than none.

    • Antikapitalista

It the Russians had counterattacked, and some Murricans were finally killed, Trump would have been impeached and this would be over in no time.
The tensions would rise, the U.S. Vice-President would be a worse one, but there would be not further escalations.

Now there will be further escalations because the Russians are not worth a shit.
They are bloody morons who simply don’t understand the world in which they are living.

      • Ma_Laoshi

This Kedmi fellow makes the same point on Russian TV: why are you bargaining on behalf of Trump? Why would Russia suddenly be responsible for him? He has never denied being a bully; so when he’s found a cowering punching bag, he almost certainly enjoys the action.

  • Starlight

This first action- far more widespread than the yanks admit, was just a PROBING action. There are still ‘assets’ in the UK, US and French war machine UNCONVINCED of the safety of taking down Assad and invading Syria. They need convincers as to how much of a paper tiger Putin really is- today will go a LONG way to reassure the worry-worts. The invasion just moved one step closer.

This should all end well, in WW3.

  • SnowCatzor

Hmm, they attacked Damascus and avoided Russia in Latakia. Not much damage and approximately 20 missiles intercepted according to other reports. So basically another useless PR stunt like last time.

Getting real sick of this American arrogance. I think the Russians need to open up a new base near Damascus and fortify the hell out of it, only that seems to deter these American and Zionist bastards.

    • Tom Tom

Its possible the U.S. told the Russians where they were firing their missiles. Face saving exercise, that’s all.

      • wwinsti

Russians claim no warnings this time, just like the Israeli attack a few weeks ago.

I suppose this means that the OPCW inspectors (who were to arrive this weekend) will now have to cancel their work?

Hmmm… how very convenient for the Western narrative, that actual physical evidence from the scene of the alleged event will now not be collected with a verifiable chain of custody?… I guess the OPCW will simply have to render a judgement based only on the videos, photos, eyewitness accounts and blood samples provided by the Wahhabbi terror gangs themselves. Meh, why worry, its not like terrorists would ever lie about such a thing?……

  • zman

Boy, this is an all out attack. The troll army is here on SF in force! 5, 6, no…7. Did I miss any?

    • 1691

I was just about going to say that it is really funny to see the zio -troll department out on the “battle field” just because their insane masters dropped a few bombs. Oh, boy, this bombing was predicted a few days ago. So, the zio- mafia thinks now that they have saved face. Bullshit! They once again demonstrated their frustration and weakness.

I want to see what is next. To be blunt, the OPCW is forming up in Douma to inspect the area. Pretty intense doing this while a UN inspection team is on the ground. Overall, very dumb move by the Occidentals.

You’ll notice all the ‘ONE LINE’ zionist troll regulars that infest this forum try to spin events as confirming their previous statements- of course they’ll trust you won’t check what they wrote over the last month.

    – they told you the british, french and americans would NEVER work together.
-they told you that actually america would not dare strike Syria now
-they told you if they did strike, Russia would not stand down
-they told you the MI6 false flag was just incompetent brits doing silly things, and was just something to laugh at.

They told you, and continue to tell you a series of well-co-ordinated LIES, lies that have to change as new facts emerge, of course.

Now the one line trolls call anyone whose statements prove ACCURATE “disinformation”. Which is funny for this reason.

We all know the Russian government issued warnings about false flag gas attacks in East Ghouta weeks ago,and these warnings are a matter of public record. So what do the trolls in places like Reddit do to dispel the undeniable significance of the accurate predictions. They call the TRUE predictions of Russia DISINFORMATION. Yes telling people the truth ahead of time is now described by jewish trolls (as here) as ‘disinformation’- you couldn’t make this up- but this is how thick the regular ‘one-line’ zionist trolls that operate here think you are.

Wanna know how trolls really function- go read Animal Farm (it ain’t a long book, and you can probably listen to a version on youtube- but once you do you’ll have perfect insight as to the operation of zionist trolls on our forums).

    • Zionism = EVIL

True to some extent, but also makes Russia look very weak as it S-400 remained it cotton and wool, however the SAA did show its expertise at using Pantsir S1 and downed most of the dud missiles. The remains of sum look like practice missiles and not even real. Many videos coming out of Syria show the very limited extentof this circus.

  • Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

wtf russia!!!! i wanted u to blow all those navies outta the water!!!

    • TheDude

Russia are terrified of America. Wake the f*ck up.

      • Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

so why they said theyll shoot down their missiles and launchers? :))

        • Ma_Laoshi

To put a brave face on things, and wish-thinking as usual that a few words here and there can get the Empire to back off. Of course, by now Russia’s humiliation is even greater than if they’d kept their mouths shut.

    • Lone Wolf

Russia quickly realised that the Supposed US Strike was a fizzler … Putin quickly calculated that its best to let Trump declare Victory so that he can leave Syria altogether …
The Strike really didn’t do much damage to begin with. US was simply scared of Russian’s reaction …. and Trump has again announced he will not stay in Syria for too long …. on the long run Putin wins and US lost another conflict again …

      • Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

well, i hope u are right, because others in his govt saying they are staying there longer

        • Lone Wolf

It’s the President who decides that not the Generals. It was part of his America First election promise. his generals were hoping that this attack would serve as a trigger event for indefinite stay but President again announced his intention to leave soon even while announcing the Air Strike ….

At the end of the day .. US is pretty much isolated on the northern corner of Syria. They have failed to check the Iranian influence and their own YPG allies are having a serious thought about their alliance and are talking with Assad for terms. IF YPG decides to go back to Assad … US is done for ….

  • Floyd Hazzard

Any smart person knew this was coming. They couldn’t allow the UN chemical team to verify anything before the hit.

  • Matt Lazarus

US should simply sign Terms of Surrender and withdraw remaining units. This makes 5th or 6th war in a row the US has now lost, beginning with Vietnam, continuing with Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen and Syria. US spends trillion dollars a year of taxpayers money on its “defense” budget and it can no longer win wars. US air forces and navy are in state of disrepair, many naval vessels dysfunctional or spending time in port for lack of manpower or too costly to operate.

    • TheDude

Lol what???? Russia: We will shoot down all US missiles and target the launch locations.

      LOLOLOL.

America won this war. Get the f*ck out of here.

      • Lone Wolf

@TheDude … What are you smoking son … US attack was a whimper ….. I think Putin and Assad are just shaking their head … ‘cos they want to know … was that the best Trump could do … ?
Trump is has already just declared US is pulling out of Syria soon … So America lost and You have just been humiliated !!!

      • Ivan Freely

American won this war? Last I checked Assad is still around.

      • Johnpd

        Dude, you’re an idiot.

  • wwinsti

For those of you are as frustrated as I am by alleged Russian inaction; please hear me.

It is extremely early in this latest provocation, hell, the B1 bombers haven’t even landed yet. Before you throw your hands up in outrage, I would respectfully ask for just a few more brief moments of patience to consider this somewhat dark and slightly ominous statement from the US Russian ambassador:

    https://www.rawstory.com/2018/04/kremlin-lashes-syria-attack-insulting-president-russia-unacceptable/amp/

He said Russia was threatened and that somehow president Putin was insulted. He also hinted at consequences.

Now isn’t this a slightly odd way to respond? I mean, isn’t there a format that a diplomat is supposed to follow when denouncing an act of aggression?

    • PZIVJ

He may have been responding to Trump’s idiotic statements on twitter.
Quite a stupid way to run foreign relations !!!

    • James

Well considering the diplomacy Putin and Russia has tried with the West, yes it is insulting. I think he’s said exactly what needs to be said at this time and Russia will no doubt respond further soon enough. Happy?

    • Ma_Laoshi

Yes, more is sure to follow. The Teddybear is dazed, wondering whether it’ll come in Syria or in Donbass, or just again in Britain–hey they never saw that one coming! So they do what they always do, speak some mean words and hope that in this way they’ll avoid the worst. Meanwhile, they must see that writing on the wall that Russia will *never* be allowed to host a successful World Cup.

  • TheDude

Where were the Russians? LOL. “We will shoot down every US missile.” Hahahaha Putin = absolutely humiliated.

    • HighLord Gaz

      ..if US attacked Russian forces.

They didn’t out of fear of consequences, so Syrian forces did the defending, and it sounds like they have done a good job of it..

      • TheDude

Russians are weak LMAO. Syria got f*cked and Russia is afraid of America.

        • Lone Wolf

No … Americans are weak … They just fired off some cruise missiles just like last time because they are afraid of Russian reaction …

All that talk of Multi National coordinated attack was just a fizzler …

To be Frank .. I find the strike to be quite a disappointment … I thought they would have done more damage than this … very weak effort …
Well back to work for SAA … still plenty of terrorist they have to go Kill !

          • TheDude

Russia: We will shoot down all US missiles and target the launch locations.

            LOLOLOL.

          • Lone Wolf

That was if Russians stationed in Syria were threatened or hit… but as things stand … the actual US attack itself was a fizzler … so why would Russia intervene … best to give Trump “Face” and let him declare victory and he’ll ride off into sunset …
Did you not hear what he said when he declared he was launching airstrike ? He said he was leaving Syria and not staying there indefinitely … which is a music to Russia and Syria and Iran and Turkey … so very small price to pay indeed …

          • HighLord Gaz

man, u are stoopid…. the US chickened out and fired off missiles at empty targets of no significance, while staunchly avoiding going ANYWHERE NEAR the Ruskies and their air-defense zones….

Who’s afraid of who, sonny boy?

      • TheDude

Russia: “If USA attacks Syria, we will shoot down all missiles and the launchers. There will be grave consequences.” LOLOLOL. Weak assss Russians.

        • HighLord Gaz

“Russia” didn’t say it… that was a junior state official… who clearly wasn’t privy to what the big boys were saying behind closed doors…

I realise that children like you cannot tell the difference.

      • RichardD

13 missiles taken down the last that I’ve seen.

      Trump and west are pussies.
They launch weak attack from south again.
If one west missile comes towards Russian bases in the north.
Then entire fleet of US, UK, and France can be destroyed in the med. :)

      • Ma_Laoshi

Yes *of course* the bully preys on the weak. That’s why they’re going after Putin upon being deterred by Pyongyang. Russia could have learned from that by, say, making an example of France. But it’s zero, nada, zilch, as it’s been for all these two years.

  • First Lastname

I continue to be equally impressed and frustrated with Russia’s restraint.

I’ll admit that I may even be beginning to mistake their patience for weakness…

  • Hrky75

Matiss and Dumford reportedly “at pains” to convince media the attack was “stronger” then last April with Matiss pointing out several times it was a “one time shot” – not a PR stunt to deflect attention from more pressing issues at all – LOL. The attack made less impression on Syria then Donalds cock on Stormy Daniels and. I expect Trumps lawyers start offering “hush money” any time now…

    • First Lastname

They should pay Assad some hush money in the form of weapons and armor

      • Zionism = EVIL

Assad needs to liberate his country from US sponsored headchoppers and go on TV and declare a national NO FLY ZONE for all illegal aircraft.

        • First Lastname

Yes but Russia must commit to assisting enforcing it.

I really doubt they will. I like Russia, but their restraint borders on cowardice

          • Zionism = EVIL

I would agree. Russia has to respond or lose any credibility. The same for Iranians who have lost about 40 people in Syria including 5 senior officers to Zionist attacks while Russia did nothing. It also will backfire on Russia as US and its poodles will be emboldened and use Ukraine to destroy Russia. This is the Bolton plan from a decade ago. Humiliate Russia and Iran into a regime change.

    • Zionism = EVIL

From a military point, it was a useless PR stunt and the long-term implications will unfold in a few weeks. I believe this was pre-arranged with Russia as Trump is the choice in Kremlin as he has enough salacious dossier issues. Also it deflects from the Comey book that is critical of Russia and Trump ties. Only time will tell. But this “attack” is more of a joke.

  • TheDude

Russia and Syria were humiliated hahaha. Russians were terrified of American jets. I heard some ran underground crying LOL “mommy mommy don’t let Americans kill me please” LOL pussssy Russians

    • Zionism = EVIL

Dude get over it. This was a stunt for idiots like you :)

  • MeMadMax

This attack probably has a more practical purpose than has been thought of before:
This is to get the russians to turn on, and engage with, the S-400 system, in order to better gauge what an attack on russia would be like.
This information would be worth more than its weight in gold for the MIC/Israel/EU/etc etc…

  • MH370

Now who we want to ask for help. Or are we better bow and submit under zio wahabi Anglo empire?

The laugh is on you and yellow clown. :DDDDDDDDDDD

  • northerntruthseeker .

I am indeed assessing the reports about the real damage from this attack, and apparently it is not as “successful” as the Jew spew media reports… In fact most of the missiles missed their targets by a very wide margin..

But in spite of the failings from this initial attack, apparently the coalition of evil is willing to possibly continue these air strikes now…. And again, based on nothing but lies and bullshit…

I pray for the Syrian people.. They deserve so much better than this.

  • jj

At least the Russians should have given Syrians more updated anti-defense and training to defend themselves if they, the Russians, were going to repeatedly stand down when Syria is attacked.

    • Brad Isherwood

Russian radars gave SAA airdefence lead time tracking. ..
SAA have decent point defence…..just not alot in numeric.
Attack may have been vector over Lebanon to Syria which is distance from Russian airbase jamming.
Leaving Syria south to what jamming and point defence exist.

Hopefully Syria did not loose any Mig 23s at Dumayr airbase.

      • jj

“SAA have decent point defence…..just not alot in numeric”

Then Russia should have been supplementing them so their numbers weren’t so low.

A senior Syrian official told Reuters that a third of around 30
missiles fired in the aggression had been shot down, and that the
targeted sites had earlier been evacuated upon Russia’s warning.

“We have absorbed the strike,” he said. “We had an early warning of
the strike from the Russians … and all military bases were evacuated a
    few days ago.”

Meanwhile, Syria’s official SANA news agency described the Western
strikes as illegal, saying, “The aggression is a flagrant violation of
international law, a breach of the international community’s will, and
    it is doomed to fail.”

Very childish from the Yanks, POMS and Frechies, reminds me of a spoiled brat that will scream it’s head off unless you give him a bar of chocolate. Should give it a good smack in the ear hole. If this is true then Russia has lost a lot of respect.

    • 1691

You are missing the bigger picture: Russia again avoided a nuclear war; Russia again got info about their electronics, Russia again allowed them to safe face and get out of there, Russia again prevented loss of life. It is childish to believe that you respond with the “eye for an eye” mantra in order to achieve victory.

      • John Mason

I don’t specifically care about silly little games played by children. What happened here was that the respect for Law and Order is gone, Russia who in the past ardently followed International law failed to stop the attack and to add insult to what happened the US, UK and France claimed that they targeted chemical manufacturing stations which means an admission from Russia that they existed. We all know that the attack had nothing to do with Assad, but with Russia.

        • 1691

I don’t specifically care about silly little games played by children. – True, they are, but !!! there are victims in these games. I would rather avoid victimizing undeserving people.
What happened here was that the respect for Law and Order is gone, – Yes, I am sure you have noticed long ago that usa, uk, france, ksa, israhell have completely ignored Law and Order. Their motto is “might is right’ but somehow I fail to accept this as universal truth. They are taking chances while they can. In this regard I would say that Russia is not global policemen and has displayed again respect for Law and Order. It’s pity you don’t see it.
Russia who in the past ardently followed International law failed to stop the attack and to add insult to what happened the US, UK and France claimed that they targeted chemical manufacturing stations which means an admission from Russia that they existed.- no, it does’t.
We all know that the attack had nothing to do with Assad, but with Russia.- Absolutely. Is it not clear that they are desperately trying to provoke Russia? They have been doing it for years and Russia is successfully stearing away from ww3.
To me, this looks like a desperate act of proving relevance by the parties involved in the bombing. Nothing to be ignored and nothing to be taken as an act deserving the start of a war.
I personally want to see usa stripped of its veto power at UN as they have a proven record of crimes against humanity. That will be a proper law&order !

          • John Mason

In the future there will always be conflicts but there never will be a ww3 that is nuclear, biological maybe but never nuclear. Billionaires want to enjoy what they got and add to it and they run the show.
Russia knows this and so does every diplomat and that is what makes this attack on Syria such a disgrace, a missed opportunity to nail Trump, May and Macron to the cross but Putin capitulated. Simple as that.
In am waiting to see what Sanctions Russia imposes on the US, UK and France 9being sarcastic), doubt that Russia has the balls to do it.

          • 1691

Sorry John, what you see as capitulation and disgrace I see as not giving in to the psychopaths. There are so many ways to deal with billionaires, with deep states, with zio zombies. Their time will come. I wish it was over but it is a process, painfully slow. When you look at the time frame for development of the deep state (+/- hundreds of years). Its destruction is happening much faster. On an emotional level I would say: bomb them, now, finish them once and for all. On a business level I would make a plan how to most efficiently destroy them without losing.

          • 888mladen .

There will be a limited nuclear war which will scare all the sheepls of the world into Globalist NWO and unite them in their worship of Lucifer against the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

The Beast Out of the Earth

11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth(USA); and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon (Trump’s tweets saturated by hate speech calculated to cause human loses just one of many examples).
12And he (it’s an office and includes every individual that occupies it in three branches of US government) exerciseth all the power of the first beast (Vatican) before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast (Vatican), whose deadly wound was healed.
13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men (UFOs),
14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of
            those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image
to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image
of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not
worship the image of the beast should be killed.

            The Mark of the Beast

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to
receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17And that no man might buy or sell (cashless society and total financial control) , save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

          • 888mladen .

Pay attention to 911 metaphor. Unfortunately many people have not been trained to understand metaphors and that’s why they see only what’s obvious at first glance. However we have been surrounded by subliminal message on daily bases and not being able to perceive them make us laughing

          • John Mason

Unfortunately you don’t see the news over here and they paint a totally different picture. Trump stating that they destroyed Syrian chemical weapons manufacturing plants and will do it again, bragging over the fact that they stumped Putin.
No sure where you stand but 2 or more wrong don’t make a right and sooner or later you need to confront the enemy. To me it is sooner the better, no point sitting on the side lines, wishfully thinking that everything is OK. Black is black, white is white, no grey matter. You are either right or wrong, good or bad, stupid or bright……

          • 1691

I am with you and absolutely agree with you. We know as much as the msm and some blogs will tell us. The real wars are won in high offices, not on the battle fields. I don’t know what is happening there. We are only told pieces and bits. That’s why I am neither upset or disappointed about some bombs that have been intercepted. I have stopped reading msm; totally. I guess their news have managed to swing your sound judgement.

          • John Mason

No, I take no notice of MSM or anything that lacks logic.
The violation of laws and it is those laws that Russia stood for, that is the let down. Can’t blame it all on Russia one is well aware of that.
Vince Lombardi – when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Russia came to a complete full stop and making agreements with a criminal element then Russia is guilty of aiding and abetting criminals and the US, UK and France qualify.
UNSC won’t do a thing and Russia keeps expecting them to.

          • 1691

Then it comes to law&order again, which I support wholeheartedly. Little progress has been made in this direction but still, it is recognizable. 109 countries voted against Trump’s announcement about moving embassy to Jerusalem. The resolutions, presented by Nebenzya have been supported by more countries. It is important to show the people and their UN reps that they should stop fearing USA as it is not only a criminal government but not that strong and mighty any more. UN could and should stop the madness. EU is cracking. Less countries support the German/French management on behalf of USA that serves the Rothschild &co.We are slowly getting it right. I hope soon, with the war in Syria being the catalyst it will get back to normal. I wish we were there already. Blame me but I don’t have the heart to support nuking, no matter which country, it is unthinkable. Mother Earth does not deserve it. There are many ways to deal with the culprits.

          • John Mason

The impression that I get is that Putin is leading towards a major reform of the UNSC, he is doing it very subtly and allowing all the aggressors plenty of rope to hang themselves. Not logical when you can have violators of the UN Charter and International Law able to veto their own violations. Recent attack on Syria for example.
The Chinese are keeping a distance at the UNSC, believe it is part of a plan. When they do make some noise it is always in reference to sovereignty, integrity and International Law, UN Charter. Russia and China will either reform the UNSC or introduce their own based on their own security systems and give countries an option to join.
I could be wrong but this has been going on behind the scenes for some time. My ranting about the attack on Syria has nothing to do with Russia not acting, they couldn’t. My argument is that Russia should of told what the arrangements with the US, UK and France were. Honesty is the best policy.

          • 1691

I thought so too. Otherwise why would the British and Poroshenko of all the people scream that Russia must not have a veto power? Something is cooking. We’ll see. I would rather see the UN functioning properly than have a part of the world destroyed.

          • John Mason

Not wrong, no one wants a war, any type of war. Putin is holding a meeting with SCTO and I believe China is doing the same. Both Russia and China are convening an emergency UNSC meeting over the attack and they have plenty to say.

          • Ma_Laoshi

Oh they always do. But without action to back it up, who will feel compelled to listen? These two even play along sanctioning their own allies in the UNSC for chrissakes. And you’re hinting very close to the core of Putin’s failure: “I don’t want war” — fine; “I can wish war away” — impeachable.

          • 888mladen .

“To me it is sooner the better” You are right in saying that. However there is only one question that needs an answer: Are we ready for it? I do believe that the world will be eventually “black and white” “sheep and goats” however to get there is a process. And every process takes time and patience too.

          • 888mladen .

How you can trust US main media after so many lies they spread in order to deceive the public? Would you expect them to publicly announce that they’ve lost the war in Syria? Why do you allow them to torment you with their lies?

      • 888mladen .

Are you afraid of the nuclear war? Have you been brain washed into believing that a nuclear war would mean the end of human race? You must have been. You’ll have it anyway and it will not be the end of all life on Earth. The end will be caused by Him who created it when His justice demands.

        • 1691

He he he, silly or not this is my argument. I don’t defy your character just because of a couple of sentences. On a more intelligent level I have to agree with you that we are all in the hands of the Creator. As for being afraid of nukes… why should I be? The end of one’s life can come in different ways, so no, this is not my problem. My problem is : why should LIFE on EARTH be threatened by schizophrenics? And if nuking is okay then I have no problem if Russia, China, Iran, NK drop a few nukes over North America and israhell.

      • 888mladen .

Very silly argument. We are in the war situation aren’t we? Or you think perhaps we might be watching Kabuki theater? However that could be the case.

  • Oscar Silva Martinez
    • John Mason

Thanks. Says only 2 missiles got through.

      • Oscar Silva Martinez

Yeah, and I believe (not sure though) it was the SAA air defenses alone who did the The Tomahawk killing.

  • RamboDave

This feeble missile strike was a totally choreographed deal with Russia. This is a great victory for Syria. Syria can now proceed toward total victory in this civil war. We should all be celebrating this great victory.

The attack was a totally pre-negotiated deal between Russia and the US to save face for Trump. Apparently it only amounted to a total of 17 minutes of missile strikes on 3 targets and, according to General Dunford, is now completely over. That’s it. Trump can now claim that he did not back down.

As agreed, no Russian fired any anti-aircraft missiles. Apparently Russia, by agreement, did not attempt to electronically jam the US missiles. Syria apparently shot down one missile.

Russia Insider nailed it in an article yesterday :
HEADLINE: US and Russia Are Talking Around the Clock to Choreograph Trump’s Coming Syria Strikes

and the statements by mattis “this is a one shot operation”and “we stayed away from russian security airspace” proves they r scared shitless…..this is just like I mentioned a day before typically trump hyped up bs just like i mentioned his bs with ” we r going to build a wall and MEXICO will pay for it”.
The war is practically over now……….

  • Sinbad2

Shortly after dawn the damage reports will be tallied and we can compare that to missiles launched, which is about 120. If the US has less than a 50% success rate it is a disaster for American weaponry.
    We shall see.

I know when I see a paper tiger. The Russians are basically frauds in my opinion in this civil war..

First of all they are fighting civilians no army or anything close to an army And once pressure came just slightly they folded and imagine if pressure came consistently they would have folded and run

face facts or leave is that simple

          chemical attack was a hoax

US did not wait for the results

the attack was so small and so few assets that Russia did not need respond

Russia will just keep helping the Syrians to clear the terrorists strongholds.

Sure you launched bunch of missiles put if that does change the war effort than you failed in your objective.

          • Mountains

I appreciate morality more then anything but Russia has shown me nothing else except the morality of a cowardice tendencies, weak and unreliable

          • LR captain

The Russians gave the Syrians the Data from their radars and used E-warfare the screw with missiles nav systems. But no shots were fired by the S-300/S-400 systems.

The tomahawk had accuracy of 95% in 1995 when it was first introduced yet the fact is around 68% were shot down by (primitive air defenses) This just proves the Russain E-warfare is not Unreliable but effective at assisting allied systems.

Syrian primitive air defenses vs US misslies = considerable damage

Syrian primitive air defenses with Russian E-warfare = almost 70% percent of missiles intercepted

at lest the Russians are more reliable than the US remember the kurds if arfrin they got left out to dry.

and don’t give me that bull that Russia help the turks. The SAA let quite a few a Kurdish convoys through en route to afrin.

Better yet remember the fact that the US stated that if any kurds head to afrin to help repel the kurds. they would no longer receive any US support.

turky VS kurds = turks win

Turkey VS US spec ops/kurds = stalemate

without US support Kurds would be screwed.

  • D-Ma Ayak

HARD FACTS TO TAKE WITH YOU!

1- The join attack by western powers was nothing short of a show. It inflicted no harm on the Syrian government except that empty research buildings were burned down.

2- Russia was informed well earlier and all the locations were evacuated.

3- No allien aka adversary fighter plane had encroached on the Syrian territory.

4- No more attack. It was just a once-off impulsive and facing saving blitz.

God bless the gallant Syrian people!

        • Art Best

The article says the Russians were not warned by the Americans of the attack, hasbara idiot.

The Americans themselves said that the attack was coming. The Syrians didn’t need the Russians to warn them since the Americans had already said they were going to kill them.

A bunch of non-stealth aircraft attacking near S-400 battery does not give much confidence in Russian air defences.

    • MasterBlaster7

B1s are a little bit stealthy….but they were launching stand-off cruise missiles way out of the range of the S-400s. Actually, I heard that the areas struck were not where the S-400s were…maybe the S-300s? I dunno…briefing tomorrow.

      • Joe Dokes

The French and British strikes flew right past the S-400 batteries and landed within eye shot of the Russian base.

      • Joe Dokes

The French and British missiles landed about 45km from Tartus and flew right past the S-400 ID zone. The Russians said they could not detect any of the French aircraft but observed all US and UK air launches. If such is the case that means the Rafale is the greatest threat as not even their S-400 can detect it. They also had a missile cruiser out monitoring near Cyprus and still couldn’t pick them up.

Russia has automatically made capitulation both in Syria and Ukraine while most importantly in Ukraine. forget about Syria they are fighting non-existent opponent just basically a couple of civilians who picked up a gun thats nothing to write home about nor an army or anything in that matter.

Putin has commited capitulation in Ukraine and left the standing Russians behind due to further fear of basically clashing with others. Poroshenko has politically defeated him and not to much his forces are besiged in Donbass and forsaken by him.

Russia has capitulated ladies and gents

Wouldn’t want to be one of those western POWs that the Syrians have in their prisons – tonight.

    • Alpha&Omega

They are unfortunately already exchanged for money, which Syria’s enemies creates out of thin air. They left on the buses with the terrorists and are now in Turkey, bases in the region or at home.

      • Garry Compton

It would depend on how Assad and Putin see it. In Asia the western POWs are ” Pearls” as we saw during the Nam years. We also saw the US gov – just write off the POWs that were in the smaller camps strung out around the triangle- those poor bastards got hung out to dry – I would not doubt that the US would do the same to some in Syria- especially the US mercs.

From 2 dozen targets including SAA General Staff, Presidential palace and Assads head to 2 targets, one, SSRC, already bombed by Zios several times and most probably empty. If this is what 600 bn $ buys you – we should all start learning Chinese, asap. Unlike his western “partners” Putin has his eyes firmly on the ball – locally that means helping Syria wipe out Zio and Wahhabi proxies and reunite the country. That geopolitical goal wasn’t hurt at all tonight. And while he has to answer his critics why he didn’t initiate Nuclear armageddon over few missiles striking empty office space in Damascus, Trump, May and Macron will sooner or later have to explain violating UN charter and risking nuclear war while achieving less then nothing.

    • MasterBlaster7

cue Russian propaganda. Ill get my briefing at 9 AM eastern thanks. Wasn’t Putin supposed to be launching a strike against US assets right about now?….how is that going Comrade?

      • Hrky75

Cue moron waiting to be fed MSM slop – digg in pork chops…

You are Jesuit brain washed stooge,

          • Hrky75

Strange type of Catholic – enjoying killing of fellow human beings. That’s what happens when instead of teaching The 10 Commandments, Catholic priests spend their time teaching underage boys Kama Sutra positions. Abused kids are known to grow up as deranged maniacs – I’m so glad you’re not the exception to that rule…

          • Art Best

            Jew.

          • 888mladen .

It’s a strange type of Catholic? Not according to the history. He does only what his faith dictates him to do.

          • Hrky75

Mladene, not or Catholics are Nazi mass murderers – trust me I know a few. Just as not all Orthodox are bearded throat-slitting, lice ridden thugs. As an old saying goes – Ima i međunjizin ljudi…;-) Peace bro – with 2 or 3 fingers – you choose…;-)

          Jew.

      • 888mladen .
        • Art Best

          Okay.

How glaringly stupid of Putin and the Russians.

To sweep under the rug the fact that the Russians were ordered by Putin to stand down and not defend Syria — the Russians were even afraid to illuminate the American ships and planes with their radars –, the Russians claim that most of the American cruise missiles were shot down.

WHERE is the evidence Jew boy Putin?

Any pictures, videos or even technical readouts?

    • 888mladen .

In 1999 US NATO bombed Serbia in clear violation of UN Charter and they still haven’t been brought to justice. Instead those defending the sovereign country were taken to Hague, with Pusin’s blessing, taking the blame for all US NATO crimes. Just to remind anybody reading this post that RU is a permanent member of UNSC with the right to veto. They didn’t use it then. Soon it will be Pusin’s turn.

      • Hrky75

These attacks are nowhere near what Serbia experienced in 1999. Bombing “suspected CW sites” that we all know don’t exist is a PR stunt on steroids. SAA military capabilities are unscathed… As for Putin, lets first wait for his response to judge on his faith…

  • Alpha&Omega

Many commentators seem to assume this is a one-time strike just because the perpetrator, that constantly contradicts himself, says so. Maybe it just relects their hopes.

It can just as well be one of many probing attacks, politically and military, in wait for the arrival of the USS Truman carrier strike group last week of April.

One surprise, as this was, are usually followed by more.

    • MasterBlaster7

This is a distraction from NK. But, I wouldn’t mind seeing F-22s and F-35s prowling the Syrian skies shooting down anything Syrian that flies. If it flies it dies.

      • 888mladen .

You better go and continue playing your computer games. Mate this war is real and it’s beyond your mental capacity to comprehend this fact because you have been made to believe that you are immortal and life is just a game.

  • That Guy

Remember the strike of Shayrat airbase? This one is similar. Not a big deal.

    • MasterBlaster7

We were going after chemical sites….but I don’t really care what we hit as Syria is mostly a ruin anyways…I AM curious to see how Russia reacts though after all their retaliation bluster.

      • That Guy

This strike doesn’t make much difference as the “chemical sites” can be rebuilt easily (and I doubt that they have any material to manufacture CW, it is just a scientific research facility), so Putin is sane enough to not cause WW3 over an ineffective strike since no Russian citizen has been killed by the US and it’s friends in that strike.

        • MasterBlaster7

Yah…this might be the end of it. It’s a distraction anyways….the main event is North Korea and that will be going off soon. Don’t want to get tangled up in this empty sandbox anyways. Although, I’m still curious as to how Putin reacts.

          • That Guy

Probably he won’t do anything over this one.

          • MasterBlaster7

I am curious to see how he deals with losing face then.

          • That Guy

He will respond to real threats.

          • MasterBlaster7

Nebulous answer….it probably will be something like that. But, the world will know that the US won this game of chicken.

          • That Guy

            Yup, gratz.

    • Oscar Silva Martinez

That’s correct, another useless, non-effect, zero strategy and weak attack on Syria. Tomorrow the SAA will continue cleaning its country of the terrorist-mercenary vermin funded by the west.

  • Willing Conscience (The Truths

I’m suggesting a new nickname for the He man Putin, I think he should now only be referred to as Bend over Putin, a name that suites him perfectly. This is his reward for not putting boots on the ground at the very beginning of Russia’s involvement in this war. The coalition of the slightly deranged realized back then he was nothing more than a coward and have treated him as such ever since. Bend over Putin, bend over Putin, bend over Putin, the more I say it the better it sounds, I sure would love this nick name to take off, I’d love nothing better than to see his face every time he heard it anywhere, it might remind him of all the things he should have done and didn’t.

    • MasterBlaster7

Yah…Putin is in a pickle now….pickle Putin; haha Americans will get that Rick and Morty reference. especially after saying “We are being threatened. We warned that such actions will not be left
without consequences. All responsibility for them rests with Washington,
London and Paris”…..ok….we’re waiting naked horseback rider.

      • velociraptor

        Yes, putin is minus.

    • velociraptor

Putin is old, drunken idiot. And megacoward. Coward was always.

  • Will Porter

I saw reports of explosions in Latakia City. Haven’t been able to reach my contact in that city. Anybody know more about this?

  • velociraptor

WHERE ARE THE RUSSIAN SUPERWEAPONS? :DDDDDD

  • BlueOctopusBoy

I think Syria should fold and become an ally with the US. A diplomatic alliance can be made…sure Assad would go but it’s okay. The reason is this, when I was a school boy, I always found it comforting and secure to be friends with the main bullies at least on a superficial level because I knew they wouldn’t harm me. There were kids who were bigger and stronger than these bullies but everyone including the bullies knew they won’t do anything.. I knew if I was friends with these quiet big boys, they wouldn’t cover my back. Similar is happening in Syria. Russia sure helps to win internal battles with rebels but when the bully comes and takes your lunch money they stand and watch.

  • velociraptor

Where are now the bg prophets, that yanks will not dare attack, ha?! :DDD

Where is escobar flores, who always told, russia wil attack nato in baltic region, ha?! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

brutal self liars are you, who trust and believe russians. they always betray the allied countries. this is the reasomn, why have no significant allied counrtry. and no, china is not allied. newer was newer will bw. such sentences like last month we heard also in 60-ties and some years later china attacked ussr.

  • Antikapitalista

And, as it was feared the most, there was no response from the Russians. Gosh, it looks like they are not even people, as far as respect, dignity and personal integrity are concerned! They could as well be farting dead corpses, it would not make any difference!

They are disgusting traitors commanding armies of apologists, nothing more.

That is why they have been cornered and bashed, because, to sum it up, they are worthless shit. And they keep persuading their opponents of this fact all the time.

  • Johnpd

Centcom commander Votel has admitted the war on Syria is lost.

UK pulled its SAS orcs out months ago, leaving only ISIS mercs & White Helmet actors who now fool nobody. The fcuking UK govt can afford £100s of millions to fund these jihadi maniacs, but they claim they can’t afford to pay my wife’s pension. UK is governed by reptiles.

The frogs hopped in to take part in the pantomime.

Now all Rothschild NWO ORCS, Trump, May & Macron can bray in front of their TV channels: “We won. We’ve defeated ISIS. Russia never showed. Blah de blah blah blah.” Complete BS.

Note what really happened: Empty fields & buildings were bombed, with all the NWO ORCS combined too sh1te scared to cause a single Russian casualty.

    Putin wins, as always.

Now Assad & his Hezzbollah & Russian & Iranian allies can get on with the job of clearing up the mess of the NWO jihadi maniacs.

    John Doran.

  • José Xavier

Some missiles were clearly intercepted. In the first video it´s at 0:11 It´s not S-200 or BUKs only, but Russian Electronic Warfare that have slow down the “invincible” Tomahawks making them easy prey… The Russian response it´s already made… Russian EW make NATO “smart” weapons dumb as a donkey! I didn´t see any corpses yet, 110 missiles and no casualties? Bad news por PR!

  • Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Russia and it’s stand back attitude will cost it image wise as they have been tested by the West and found wanting as the Russians don’t realize they are already in a World War NTH and just trying to pretend they aren’t isn’t helping anyone at this time. You can’t play this measured restraint all the time as the US are bullies and fully take advantage of every time you back down and rely on Mob mentality to gain their allies , which they just did in gaining some more allies for you being so stand offish.

This was a bad political play and no measured response made you look even weaker in the long run right now, have warned if you don’t follow through you will lose everything you worked for so diligently and hard for . Time to be more proactive than imaginary reactive as this you can’t keep doing this with the West as the mentality they have is more based on Mob mentality than anything else.

    • Ma_Laoshi

We sometimes disagree, but you’re putting your finger on the spot when it comes to Russian denial: Russia IS at war for years already. Misunderstanding the way this war is being prosecuted (deadly strikes which are militarily meaningless, but devastating politically) is just one of the ways Russia utterly fails to comprehend the Empire. “Restraint” is a proportional response; lack of any response — well there are other names for that.
