On the afternoon of February 21, the center of the city of Kherson was shelled by unknown forces. The bloody attack targeted civilians in the city which was left by the Russian military months ago.
The shelling was reported by the head of the regional military administration appointed by Kiev. According to him, at least 20 explosions were heard in the city, shooting, presumably, was conducted from multiple rocket launchers “Grad”, which are in service both with the Russian and Ukrainian military.
The Ukrainian media promptly reacted to the reports and it turned out that Ukrainian journalists were on the spot to broadcast the aftermath of the attack.
According to the Ukrainian media, referring to the city council, five people were killed and 16 others were wounded.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in his Telegram that the strikes hit a car park, residential areas, a high-rise building and a public transport stop.
Footage shared by the Ukrainian media confirmed that one of the main targets was a bus stop in the city center, where several civilians were killed. Shelling civilians on the bus stops is the favorite means of terror used by the Ukrainian military against civilians in the Donbass.
This is the first major attack which targeted civilians in the city of Kherson. The attack “surprisingly” took place during the speech of Russian President Vladimir Putin which was translated online by all the main global media.
The bloody attack in Kherson is nothing more than another criminal media campaign launched by the Kiev regime in an attempt to attract the attention of the MSM and slander the Russian military. The provocation was staged in accordance with the traditional scenario used by the terrorist Kiev regime. The Ukrainian authorities have already demonstrated that the death of several civilians is not such a high price for them for another pretext that Zelensky uses during his hypocritical video messages asking for more money and weapons. In its turn, the Russian military has no military, PR, political reasons to kill civilians in the regions that recently became part of the Russian Federation. Russian forces have not shelled people in Kherson before and have not shelled them today.
Unfortunately, this is not the first such attack by the Kiev regime on its own civilian population and it is unlikely to be the last while the terrorist regime is in power in Ukraine.

As best I can determine from online maps and directories, the store shown is the Ромашка Аптека (Romashka Apteka, a chemist / drug store) which seems to be in the Fabrika mall development operated by the Budhouse Group, don’t know if they have US connections but they list PWC as auditors on their website. I think from looking at these sites the store front is facing North West away from the river and Russian territory.
