Alex Jones Case And Full-Scale Campaign To Censor Alternative Media

Alex Jones

YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Spotify and Apple have censored InfoWars and its founder Alex Jones as well as have taken steps to remove content associated with the project. The tech giants justified their decision by claiming that InfoWars and Jones personally violate hate speech and abusive behavior policy.

The attack on InfoWars caused a fire and fury in the media with mainstream outlets and commentators defending the decision and independent media calling this situation a clear example of the censroship.

The fate of InfoWars once again reached the top of the news after congressional hearings on September 5 when Jones confronted Sen. Marco Rubio and CNN journalist Oliver Darcy.

“I was taken down, not because we lied but because we tell the truth and because we were popular. And because we dared go to that committee hearing and stand up to Rubio and stand up to the lies of mainstream media and speak the truth. …,” Jones said after the hearing. “This is the deep state striking back and really pressuring these tech firms to censor.”

It’s intersting to note that while the ongoing censorship campaign is clearly targeting alternative media, the tech giants reject this publicly. For example, during the recent hearing, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey claimed that Twitter not is politically selective.

“I want to start by making something clear: we don’t consider political viewpoints, perspectives, or party affiliation in any of our policies or enforcement decisions. Period. Impartiality is our guiding principle.”

When the censrorship campaign against InfoWars started, the project’s website and app soared on the blaze of publicity getting additional audience. However, the long-term effect of the censorship led to a decrease of the project’s audience.

Before the August6 bans, Infowars had a daily viewership of about 1.4 million visits to its website and views of videos posted by its main YouTube and Facebook pages, according to data from the web data firms Tubular Labs and SimilarWeb. In the coming weeks, the average audience fell to about 715,000 site visits and video views. While this data does not include traffic to the InfoWars app, which is actively promoted by Jones, it allows to see the result of the restrictions.

The MSM hysteria over the “hate speech” and “dehumanization language” appears to be a tool of the liberal transhumanist ideology used to practise discrimination against a part of the US population, which does not support it: supporters of traditional values, white heterosexuals, supporters of conservative, modertae conservative, centric and moderate left views and many other social stratums and political groups.

This situation openly violates the foundations of the US Constitution. The discrimination against minorities, which indeed was an issue some time ago, is now turned into the discrimination dictate used to control the political life and media narrative.

He is annoying Yank, however the site is pretty good, but the sister sister site “Prison Planet” is better for Europeans.

His interview style is very annoying. Why bother inviting guests to your show where he speaks the most?

      • Britam

This has become standard practice on American ‘Infotainment’ programs. The “good” guests speak up and interrupt the moderator when it is needed. A little shouting back and forth is also great for ratings. Don’t forget that “news” programs are now ‘business enterprises.’ As Frank Zappa put it; “We’re only in it for the money.”
Newton Minow was a Prophet. Television is a “vast wasteland” now.

        Try “Prison Planet” as stated.

I think he is a wanker, but in a free country, every man and woman should have the right to express their views.
The US is finally exposing its fascist beliefs, that it has tried to keep hidden from view.

Alex Jones is a deep state agent provocateur and a Zionist. He admitted that he is an “actor” before a court. Trunews has some interesting things to say about him.

Alex Jones’ impotent rage is off-putting, and tedious for his followers. Less is more.
