Forty-eight women with children left the northern of Syrian city of Aleppo through Russia-negotiated humanitarian corridors, the administration of the city said on July 3.

Fighting in the city intensified in recent days, as terrorists started an offensive aimed at breaking of government cordons. About 250,000 civilians have fear to be trapped in the eastern districts, held by rebels.

According to an official of the Aleppo administration, people used specially-designated corridors through which they fled under heavy fire of terrorists. The official added that crude homemade weapons were used by militants.

“Their accuracy is very low but in place of munitions they are using gas canisters filled with metal projectiles – nails, screws and bolts. Blasts can be heard every 5-10 minutes in different parts of Aleppo,” the source said.

Last week, Damascus and Moscow had launched a large-scale humanitarian operation in Aleppo and opened three escape corridors for civilians and one for terrorists, who decided to lay down arms.

The figures presented above show that the evacuation of civilians is not completely successful. The process becomes more complicated due to heavy fighting in the city and near it.

This process may not be entirely successful as the terrorists are using residents as human shield, they are doing their utmost to prevent the residents from leaving and it appears that they have support from the West with this position.
The key here is to get the terrorists themselves to leave, with their weapons and/ or to surrender and take up the amnesty offered by President Assad.
The SAA, Russian Airforce and SyAA must ruthlessy maintain the seige and daily aerial bombardment. All terrorist attacks must be repelled, the SAA defensive lines held and the psychological pressure increased daily on the terrorists to get them to leave Aleppo.
There is no guarantee that this will work but its the only resort short of a military offensive in rebel held Eastern Aleppo which will be a long, drawn out and costly offensive seeing that there are still approx 250,000 civillians still trapped there.
