It is reported by the local media that a drunken man has surrendered after firing gunshots from his apartment in Paris when the city is on high alert for November terror attack.

The shots were fired near the corner of Rue Bichat and Rue du Faubourg-du-Temple one of the locations targeted in Paris attack in November last year.

According to the report, on Thursday afternoon, the gunman fired multiple shots with a small-caliber gun from the window of his home. Later police arrived and the scene and the gunman surrendered.  And there is no report of injuries due to the gunshots.

However, Brussels, Paris and other major cities in Europe have been on high-security alert since last month’s Brussels attacks killed 32 people and injured more than 300 others.
