- During the G7 press conference, US President Donald Trump said there is no timeline for US troops’ withdrawal from Afghanistan;
- Government forces have pushed the Taliban back in the districts of Shahjoi, Shinkai and Shimalzai in the province of Zabul;
- Bodies of 3 elders captured in Samangan province were found dead in the Chashma-e-Shir area in Baghlan province. Pro-government sources blamed the Taliban;
- At least 15 prisoners including security force members and civilians were freed by government forces in the Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province, the Ministry of Defense said;
- The Taliban carried several attacks on government forces in the Qarghan district, Faryab province.
