Israel’s ImageSat International released on April 4 several new satellite images showing two buildings, which were hit in the March 27 Israeli airstrikes on the Shaykh Najjar Industrial Zone, northeast of the Syrian city of Aleppo.
Both buildings are located in the northwestern part of the industrial zone, according to ImageSat’ photos. One of them appears to be a storage hangar. Videos of the buildings, released by the U-News Agency on March 29, support these conclusions.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) targeted each building with several US-Made GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs). The bomb’s warhead weights only 93kg, which explains the minimal damage that can be seen in ImageSat’s photos.

Israeli media claimed that Iranian forces were operating in both buildings. However, there are no evidences to support these claims. U-News’ videos showed that both building contained few industrial machines and nothing more.
The Mach 27 aerial attack was not the first on Aleppo. Last year, IAF warplanes bombed a car workshop in the outskirt of the Nayrab military airport, east of Aleppo. Back then, Israeli sources also claimed that workshop was a base for the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
