Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) has slammed US President Donald Trump’s commitment to defend Saudi Arabia in the Jamal Khashoggi case despite the kingdom’s open involvement in the killing the wake of journalist’s murder.
Khashoggi was killed in a Saudi consultate in the Turkish city of Istanbul on October 2.

On November 20, Trump released an official statement on the murder of Khashoggi, which it started with blaming Iran, Hezbollah, the Houthis and Haams for destabilizing the Middle East and defended Saudi Arabia in the case.
However, it looks that far from everybody in the US mainstrean “political community” is happy to criticize Trump for his stance.
