On May 25, the part of the M4 highway between Aleppo and Hasakah cities was reopened under the supervision of the Russian Military Police. A large chunk of the highway in norheastern Syria is near the area under the control of Turkish-backed militant groups. However, the joint efforts of Syria, Turkey and Russia allowed to secure the movement in the area.
