The Idlib Revolutionary Brigade, one of the few Arab groups within the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has called on its al-Qaeda-linked friends in Idlib to run away from the ‘Assad regime’ and ‘Ottoman occupation’ to the SDF-held part of northwestern Syria. So, their new US-backed friends will help them to continue defending democracy there.

The Syrian Army and its allies launched an operation to defeat radical militant groups in southern Idlib on December 19. Since then, they have liberated a few dozens of villages and deployed in a striking distance from the key militant-held town of Maartan al-Numan. This caused a state of chaos among militants that are now blaming each others for the recent failures.
