The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have taken control of the “second” and “third” districts of the town of Tabqah after violent clashes in which 30 ISIS militants were killed.
The SDF also discovered an ISIS mortar workshop.

According to Kurdish sources, the SDF is now in control of more than 90% of Tabqa town. However, the Tabqa dam area remains under the control of ISIS.
A large bunch of military reinforcements from the Minbaj Military Council (MMC) has been sent the town of Tabqa. MMC forces will participate in the final attack on the Tabqa dam.

According to local sources, the SDF imposed a curfew in Tabqah.
11 civilians were killed and 9 wounded, including children, as a result of airstrikes by US-led coalition warplanes on the village of Salhiya in the northern Raqqa countryside.
ISIS claimed that a Kurdish fighter was killed by its snipers in Tel Al-Saman in the northern Raqqa countryside.
The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq also published pictures showing clashes in the northern part of the Tabqa town.
