75,033 Syrians Return To Damascus' Eastern Ghouta, 2.8 Tonnes Of Food Products Delivered To Aleppo

75,033 Syrians have returned to the Damascus region of Eastern Ghouta from from camps for refugees and internally displaced persons, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Sides said in a statement on July 13.

The satement added  that the Center has delivered over 2.8 tonnes of food products as a humanitarian assistance to people leaving in the province of Aleppo.

So far, the Center has delovered 2,896.56 tonnes of humanitarian cargoes to the war-torn country.

Humanitarian actions are an important part of the Russian military operation in Syria. Restoration of the law and order as well as improvement of the humanitarian situation in the areas liberated from militant groups are the factors allowing the Syrian government and its allies to propel a peace process and to employ successfully reconciliation deals across the country.
