69 members of militant groups, including 10 military commanders, were killed in clashes with government forces in the period between March 21 and March 28, the Hezbollah media wing in Syria reported in its official Twitter account.

On March 21, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda), Jaysh al-Izza and Abnaa al-Sham launched a large-scale advane against government forces in northern Hama, seizing a number of villages in the area. Later, another well-known ‘moderate’ opposition group, Ahar al-Sham, joined Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and its allies in their advance against the Syrian military.

By March 29, government forces had stabilized situation in the area and now are probing militant defenses in various parts of the frontline, searching an opportunity to launch a counter-attack.

On March 28, the Russian Defense Ministry provided own version of the casualties among the militant group in the area. According to the Russian General Staff’s Main Operations Directorate, Colonel-General Sergey Rudskoy, 2,100 members of militant groups had been killed during the clashes with the Syrian army, backed up by the Russian Aerospace Forces.

These attacks in Hama are meant to divert Syrian forces from attacking ISIS when ISIS is collapsing so thee Kurds and moderate ISIS head choppers can gain territory

    • El Diablo

With the only problem that SAA and Curds are de facto allied, and Curds have said that after ISIS they will attack Al Nusra :D

      • Cycloben

The Kurds are American proxies. They will accomplish America’s plan B to
partition Syria the same way Iraq is partitioned. Those American bases
        are here to stay.

        • El Diablo

I don’t watch the problem :D If americans are Kurds allied…is a bigger trouble for Turks than to SAA :D Erdogan must to have the most troubles he can have :D Some nations must think most how to use Kurds against Turkey than to lost terrain they cause only troubles. Is no better a good allied than a minority who will ever rebel? Kurdistan nation will be mostly a pain in the ass for Turks than to Iran or Syria.

        • John Brown

No the Kurds are Israeli proxies as are Americans. I don’t know why Russia and China etc. bother talking to anyone in the USA government including
the president and congress etc. unless they are a Jews or one of the billionaire Jewish oligarchs who own and control the American government, media and banking system. Did they not think this may be why any treaty signed with an American puppet is always broken on the orders of the Zionist empire of which America is a conquered vassal, because only Jews have any real power and authority in America for at least the last 30 plus years.

As can be seen now with what is happening in the USA it is clear Trump has no power at all just like Obama, unless his Jewish slave masters approve.
Trump can’t even appoint the head of the CIA. The racist supremacist master Jewish race makes all such appointments.

kurds said that they would attack Al-Nusra? first time I hear that, do they even have common front lines?

        • El Diablo

They would attack all rebels backed by turks :D And…yes they have just fighted al-nusra and other rebels :D

      • John Brown

We shall see who allies with whom. Right now the Kurds
appear to be stupid and willing pawns of Israel in an attempted partition
        of Syria.

    • Thegr8rambino

SAA can and is doing both rather well i think :)

  • El Diablo

69 vs 2100. In who i must believe? I think some hundreds. 69 maybe the jihadists killed by hezbollah or the terrain army. The air force have for sure killed dozens of them when they move. But in their terrain, so the SAA can’t count their corpses.

    • Thegr8rambino

yea thats probably how many hezbollah got, and the 2100 overall or by SAA/russians

    • Cycloben

I know, this article is funny.
